Abstract

This research was conducted to see how the strategic management planning carried out by the principal in improving the quality of education in schools. Whether in this strategic management planning research there is an increase in the quality of education or not. Therefore, we want to interview the principal at the Nahdatul Ulama Elementary School in Medan to get data or results from what was felt during this school.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk Menjelaskan bahwa dalam pendidikan dan pelatihan sangat diperlukan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan terhadap pelaksanaan kinerja seorang, karena pendidikan sangat tergantung pada mutu pendidikan, jika guru tidak mendapatkan pelatihan dengan baik maka mutu pendidikan tidak akan berkembang. Guru merupakan aset pendidikan bila dapat dikelola secara optimal. Sebaliknya, menjadi “beban pendidikan” jika pengelolaan tidak dibarengi dengan kompetensi yang memadai. Guru yang berkualitas akan mampu bersaing dan mereka perlu mendapat pengembangan sehingga memiliki kompetensi. Masih banyak sekolah di daerah-daerah yang mengalami kekurangan mutu, sedangkan guru yang saat ini kualifikasinya masih banyak yang tidak layak mengajar. Maka dari itu diperlukan pelatihan untuk menambah kemampuan dan wawasan secara berkelanjutan. Profesi guru dalam mengajar membutuhkan pengembangan. Oleh karena itu, seorang pengajar perlu menguasai berbagai kemampuan baik kemampuan dibidang ilmu maupun dibidang teknologi dalam mengajar.

Abstract

The principal is one of the key factors in determining the quality of education. Referring to its functions and roles, the principal functions as the manager and leader of the school education institution. Effective management and leadership requires principals who embody modeling and transformational leadership, demonstrated by characteristics such as ideal influence, motivational inspiration, intellectual stimulation and individual consideration. This is the challenge for school principals to manage change well for the sake of sustainability and continuous improvement of school quality. They must empower teaching staff, work under clear time frames, build interpersonal relationships, develop fairness and principles of accountability, and be able to work in teams.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes in the world of education, especially in the implementation of technology-based policies to support the learning process. Technology-based education policies aim to improve the quality of learning through the integration of digital tools such as learning software, e-learning platforms and internet-based applications. In addition, student motivation is an important factor in the successful implementation of this technology. This research discusses the role of technology-based education policies in increasing learning effectiveness and how student motivation influences learning outcomes in the digital era. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study approach in educational institutions at various levels. The research results show that policies that support adequate technological infrastructure, training for teaching staff, and technology-based curriculum development can increase student engagement and achievement. On the other hand, students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation is greatly influenced by digital environments that are interactive and support personal learning. Therefore, integration between technology-based education policies and efforts to increase student motivation is the key to educational success in the digital era.
