Abstract

This research aims to discuss a phenomenon of interfaith family in Klepu village, Sooko district, Ponorogo regency in the context of religious education transformation in family. This study was qualitative research. The subjects of the research are Islamic and catholic family, mixed faith family as well. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the research indicates that mother religiosity is more dominant in influencing children’s religious upbringing. Nine informants showed that four cases of children religiosity follows religion of their mother, three cases of children religiosity follow religion of their father and father is religiously active, two cases of children religiosity is questionable because they are still baby. This situation happens because the family couple does not have agreement to be bound or there is an agreement containing a freedom for their children. This is because the communication between mother and children is more intense compared to father and children communication. Dominant figure of mother cannot be separated from her nurture and her more time to interact with her childrenحاولت هذه الدراسة عرض ظاهرة الأسرة الثنائية دينيا في قرية كليفو سوكو فونوروغو في سياق تحوّل التربية الدينية في الأسرة. اتّبعت هذه الدراسة المنهج الكيفي، ومصادر بياناتها الأسرة المسلمة والأسرة الكاتوليكية والأسرة الثنائية دينيا. أما أساليب جمع البيانات لهذا البحث فالملاحظة والمقابلة الشخصية والوثائق المكتوبة. دلت نتائج البحث على أن الأم وما تدين به تؤثّر كثيرا فيما يدين به الابن. ومن ستة المخبرين المبحوثين دلّت البيانات على أن أربعة منهم اتبعوا دين أمهم، وثلاثة منهم اتّبعوا دين أبيهم ( إذا كان الأب فعّالا في الأسرة )، واثنان منهم لم يكونا واضحين لكونهما في سن قبل الخامسة. وقعت هذه الحالة خاصة في الأسرة التي ليس فيها اتّفاق ملزم أو بين الزوجين اتّفاق ولكنّهما يعطيان الحريّة للأبناء في اختيار الدين. وقعت هذه الظاهرة لأن كمية الاتصال بين الأبناء وبين الأم أكثر من كمية الاتصال بينهم وبين آبائهم.  كانت هيمنة الأم في الأسرة لا تنفصل عن كونها أما للأبناء وطول اتصالها بالأبناء.

Abstract

Abstract: It is asserted that method in education is one determinant of success. In Islamic education, there is a popular method called Targhib wa tarhib, but unfortunately it is less popular in a last few decades because many Islamic educators prefer western educational concept which tends to disregard the affective aspect which can eliminate the purpose of education that is simultaneously to form intelligent human intellectually andspiritually. Besides, this method comes from al-Quran and al-Hadith that is certainly true because according to human development both from the aspect of spiritual or physical. In accord to this, the application of Targhib wa tarhib in contemporary times is very important in both formal and non-formal education with contextually relevant designs. Abstract

The mosque is not only a place for congregation to pray five times a day. Mosques have social, educational and even economic functions. LP3M IAIN Ponorogo has developed mosque posdaya with the aim of empowering the community on the basis of a mosque. The principle of empowerment used is emancipatory, which is to organize the community by placing the community as the subject (subject) with the empowerment paradigm that rests on the community (community based development). The program called the mosque's Posdaya is centered at the Thoriqul Huda mosque, Dorokenong Hamlet, Tulung Village, Sampung Ponorogo District. The revitalization of the function of the Thoriqul Huda mosque is carried out by empowering the economy of congregations who are economically disadvantaged or called pre-prosperous communities. Economic empowerment activities are manifested through entrepreneurship training activities for plastic bag making and marketing. The activity is aimed at providing life skills for preprosperous families of mosque congregations. In the next stage, improving the life skills of congregations from underprivileged families must be supported by capital and network access. Mosques develop amil zakat institutions and mosque cooperatives by strengthening mosque religious management.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of Al-Quran Hadith learning and tadarus activities on students' Al-Quran reading ability as well as the mediating role of reading intention in the relationship between these two variables. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 78 students at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Yanggong as participants. The data collection technique was carried out using a Likert scale with four main variables: Al-Quran Hadith learning, tadarus activities, ability to read the Al-Quran, and reading intention. Data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM technique by testing the validity, reliability, and goodness-of-fit of the model. The research results show that reading intention has a positive and significant influence in improving students' ability to read the Quran. Meanwhile, learning the Quran and Hadith has an insignificant effect. Reading intention also mediates the relationship between tadarus activities and students' ability to read the Quran. The implications of this research highlight the importance of integrating spiritual values in learning the Quran, Hadith, and Tadarus. Teachers can use this research as a foundation for designing learning experiences that strengthen students' spiritual intentions and connect them to academic learning. Recommendations include Collaboration between schools, parents, and communities can be an important factor in strengthening students' reading intentions. Parents can provide support and encouragement to their children to read the Quran with good intentions, while communities can provide a supportive environment for religious practice. By implementing these recommendations, it is hoped that we can improve the balance between Al-Quran hadith learning, tadarus activities, and reading intention to develop and improve students' Al-Quran reading abilities.

Abstract

Basically the purpose of education is not only to shape students to be intelligent but also to shape individuals so that they have character or personality which can later grow and develop with a personality in which there are noble values and religion. Therefore, by incorporating religious values into subjects at school, it is hoped that it can create students with characters in which there are noble and religious values, one of which is through the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI). It is undeniable, for whatever we aim for, we will definitely encounter difficulties and challenges, as well as in the implementation of education based on Islamic values. This difficulty will later affect all aspects of student progress. For example, what happened to a school located in Ponorogo Regency, namely MTs Nurul Mujtahidin Mlarak, also experienced difficulties and challenges in delivering Islamic values-based learning, especially in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI). Therefore, it is important to review further about the forms of difficulties, as well as what factors are likely to become obstacles in learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI), as well as solutions to deal with the various difficulties that have been mentioned. Pada dasarnya tujuan pendidikan tidak hanya membentuk siswa menjadi cerdas tetapi juga membentuk individu agar memiliki karakter atau kepribadian yang nantinya dapat tumbuh dan berkembang dengan kepribadian yang didalamnya terdapat nilai nilai luhur dan agama. Oleh karena itu dengan memasukkan nilai nilai keagamaan pada mata pelajaran di sekolah diharapkan dapat mewujudkan peserta didik dengan karakter yang didalamnya terdapat nilai nilai luhur dan agama, salah satunya melalui mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI). Tak bisa dipungkiri, atas segala apapun yang kita tuju pasti menemukan kesulitan dan tantangannya tersendiri, begitu juga dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan berbasis nilai Islam ini. Kesulitan ini nantinya akan mempengaruhi segala aspek kemajuan peserta didik. Seperti misalnya yang terjadi pada salah satu sekolah yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Ponorogo, yakni MTs Nurul Mujtahidin Mlarak, pun mengalami kesulitan dan tantangan dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran bebrbasis nilai Islam, khusunya pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI). Oleh karenanya, penting untuk ditinjau lebih lanjut mengenai bentuk-bentuk kesulitan, serta factor-faktor factor-faktor apa saja yang memungkinkan untuk menjadi hambatan dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI), serta bagaimana pula solusi untuk menghadapi berbagai kesulitan yang telah disebutkan.
