Abstract

Abstract This study aims to measure the relationship between self-efficacy and self-esteem on student achievement. The research was conducted using quantitative descriptive analysis by the method of field research, which is conducted by survey to respondents. To analyze the data using correlational analysis techniques and multiple regression analysis techniques. Abstract

Not all students have the same ability as their intellegence, it happened because some problems that cause their basic intellegence is not able to develop. It is called underachiever students. Hopefully the shift of students learning skill pattern could improve underachiver students based on their intellegence. Hopefully the use of Wdep System as part of reality counseling is able to alterate better learning skill of underachiever students.This study used quasi experimental method. Six students ware taken as sample. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The result showed that WDEP System is effetive to improve learning skill of underachiever students at the tenth class of Senior High School Yasmida Ambarawa in accademic year 2014/2015.Keywords: WDEP System, reality counseling, learning skill, underachiever students.

Abstract

This Study is based on the student’s problem who is failure to achieve his happiness in life, it is caused by his adaptation incapableity. This study aimed to know the student’s adaptation level at the first grade SMP N 2 Pringsewu in academic years 2013/2014, and formulated an effective developmental model of game technigue on group counseling service to improve student’s adaptation in that school. This study used qualitative design. The method that used is research and development. The steps are : (1) Preliminary reseach; (2) Planning; (3) Devoloping hyphothetic model; (4) Analyzing hypothetic model; (5) Revising; (6) Limitating trial; (7) Revising tial result; (8) Extending trial; (9) Revising final model; (10) Dessiminati and socialization. The result showed that group counseling using game technique empirically proven that is efective to improve student’s adaptation.Keywords: Group Counseling; Game Technique; Self Adjusment.

Abstract

Play therapy is a counseling approach for children applying toys, games, and other play media to communicate to the children "language." One of the Play therapy models that combine ecosystems as being formed by an inseparable reciprocal relationship between living things, and their environment is Eco systemic Play Therapy (EPT). Ecosystem Play Therapy as a hybrid model that integrates the concepts of science biology, several models of child psychotherapy, and developmental theories. This model is not eclectic. Rather, it is the integration of several models to create an independent model that is different from the sum of its parts. The focus of EPT is on the process of optimizing the implementation of the childs function as the context of the childs ecosystem or world. EPT is developed from a phenomenological philosophical perspective, in contrast to traditional perspectives.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to conduct a descriptive study about self-compassion profile of Lampung students based onupon the sequence of tribe and sex in STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung. This research describes the difference of self-compassion level of students based on the tribe in Lampung, and the level of self-compassion based on gender. Self-compassion is the ability to be compassionate to yourself, entertain themselves and care when self-suffering, failures and imperfections. The results from this study explain that women have a lower level of self-compassion than men. In addition, the cultural factors in the students in Lampung do not have a big impact on self-compassion. This is because the people of Lampung who have open characteristics to mingle with other tribes. Self-compassion is expected to become a multicultural competency of a counselor because someone who has a high self-compassion will have the ability to care about the difficulties of others.

Abstract

Pelatihan bahasa Inggris dalam Pemasaran online di lingkungan FEB UMPRI di era digital ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk solusi terkait persoalan akibat dampak pada dunia perekonomian dan perkembangan masa atau zaman dimana hampir seluruh bidang dalam tatanan kehidupan sudah dibantu dengan teknologi digital. Kegiatan pelatihan bertempat di Universitas Muhammadiyah Pringsewu (UMPRI) Lampung dengan sasaran para mahasiswa FEB UMPRI semester 4. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan diperoleh bahwa kegiatan ini memperoleh respon positif dari pihak UMPRI dan mahasiswa FEB semester 4. Ini adalah sebuah upaya memfasilitasi pembelajaran untuk mengelola bisnis dengan lebih baik, mendapatkan keuntungan ekonomi dari aktivitas mereka dan belajar dari satu sama lain. Dengan kegiatan pelatihan Bahasa Inggris kepada Mahasiswa FEB UMPRI ini merupakan suatu bentuk kepedulian untuk membantu mereka menemukan potensi diri dan memberikan ilmu untuk bekal kesiapan membangun jiwa wirausaha serta upaya merealisasikan cita-cita untuk berwirausaha demi terwujud kesetaraan dan kesejahteraan setelah lulus kuliah nantinya.

Abstract

The application of innovation and creativity in counseling can help in building the relationship process between the client and the counselor. Researchers try to construct a counseling model by placing cultural values, and indigenous studies as the philosophy of the study concept. One approach that meets these elements is the "Among system." Researchers try to collaborate on the concept of thinking by using an educational approach in the implementation of indigenous counseling services. The study used the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) design, which explores how individuals understand their personal and social worlds through a detailed examination of their lives's experiences. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively, using Coding data analysis. The technique used is to compare and check the degree of trustworthiness of information obtained through different times and tools. Among is a result of Ki Hadjar Dewantoro's thinking, which means opvoeding or paedagogiek, so that intervention through among values, is an intervention based on pedagogical values.

Abstract

Teachers play a crucial role in the education system, particularly in developing pedagogical competence to create effective learning. Pedagogical competence includes understanding student characteristics, applying learning theories, and managing a conducive classroom environment. However, in practice, many teachers still face challenges in optimally implementing pedagogical competence, especially in elementary schools within The X cluster area, Pardasuka Subdistrict, Pringsewu Regency. This study aims to examine teachers' understanding of pedagogical competence, identify its application in teaching, and reveal the challenges faced by teachers. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach in five elementary schools in the area. Data collection was conducted through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, which were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis model. The results show that most teachers have a good understanding of pedagogical competence, but its implementation is still limited by constraints such as inadequate technological facilities, high administrative burdens, and a lack of continuous training. This study recommends reducing administrative burdens and enhancing sustainable professional development programs for teachers to optimize the application of pedagogical competence in teaching.

Abstract

The integration of cultural heritage into mathematics learning remains underexplored, particularly in the context of Indonesian traditional arts. Existing mathematics curricula often overlook the potential of local cultural artifacts to contextualize abstract mathematical concepts. This study addresses this gap by investigating the mathematical structures embedded within Batik Lampung motifs, highlighting their novelty in representing numerical patterns through culturally significant designs. The primary aim of this research is to explore and analyze mathematical pattern concepts—specifically odd and even arithmetic sequences, square numbers, rectangular numbers, and constant sequences—within the Siger, Gajah, Pucuk Rebung, Sembagi, and Kapal motifs of Batik Lampung, while also uncovering their underlying philosophical meanings. Employing a qualitative ethnographic approach, the study collected data through visual documentation, direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and literature review. The findings reveal the presence of arithmetic sequences, square and rectangular number patterns, and constant sequences, each reflecting cultural values such as sustainable growth, balance, perfection, and continuity. These results underscore the potential of Batik Lampung as a meaningful and contextual medium for mathematics instruction. This study contributes to the development of culturally responsive teaching strategies aimed at enhancing students' mathematical understanding and motivation through the incorporation of local cultural heritage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kondisi aktual budaya literasi serta mengkaji tahapan manajemen strategis yang diterapkan dalam pengembangan budaya literasi di SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Lokasi penelitian berada di SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi Bandar Lampung dan dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan pustakawan yang terlibat secara langsung dalam implementasi program literasi sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya literasi di SD Negeri 1 Sidodadi Bandar Lampung telah berjalan secara efektif melalui penerapan manajemen strategis oleh kepala sekolah serta kolaborasi yang solid antar tenaga pendidik dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi program literasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik.
