Abstract

Pada transmisi video melalui internet ada kemungkinan adanya paket-paket yang hilang dan variasi bandwidth yang besar, ini tentu akan mempengaruhi kecepatan laju komunikasi data.Teknik video coding(pengkodean video) dipergunakan untuk aplikasi transmisi video dari pengirim ke penerima dengan berbagai macam aplikasi dan kapasitas. Dalam penelitian ini, untuk mengoptimalkan error control yang merupakan umpan balik dari penerima ini digunakan teknik video coding FGS (Fine Granularity Scalability). Sistem ini bekerja dengan feedback dari penerima dengan pendekatatan optimasi Rate Distortion. Dengan Rate Distortiondiharapkan dapat menurunkan mode encoding pada tiap-tiap paket sehingga dapat meminimalkan distorsi yang ada dari pengirim hingga penerima. Simulasi ini dilakukan menggunakan data video sequence dengan format QCIF dengan ukuran pixel 176 x 144. Dalam simulasi data video sequnce ini ditransmisikan dengan menggunakan teknik video coding FGS dengan umpan balik dari penerima, umpan balik ini sebagai error control dengan mengoptimasi rate distortion. Dari hasil simulasi didapatkan nilai pendekatan untuk ketahanan variasi beban bandwidth kanal dan unjuk kerja optimasi Rate Distortion dengan menggunakan parameter λ=0.2 Q2 dengan selisih PSNR untuk kedua layer sebesar 2dB sedangkan untuk feedback dari penerima didapatkan perbaikan kinerja pada PSNR < 1dB.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Since the first time, coronavirus appeared in China at the ends December 2019 as known as SARS-CoV-2 (Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2), has spread globally, the ventilators needs have increased drastically and sharply, so WHO encourages every country in the world of medicine to manufacturing and developing ventilators, especially emergency ventilators. The government instructed the Indonesian Ministry of Health through the Balai Pengamanan Fasilitas Kesehatan Jakarta which is to test the ventilator. Gas Flow Analyzer is a calibrator tool that has functions to test the ventilator. This ventilator calibrator is a product from abroad which is very expensive. In this study, a ventilator test device using an ATMEL SAM3X8E microcontroller based on Arduino was designed for process data from the incoming air pressure and flow, so that it can be displayed on the LCD and computer. From the results of data analysis based on the Mandatory Rapidly Manufactured Ventilator System (RMVS) [15], a setting with 400 mL Tidal Volume (TV), 15 BPM Breath Rate (RR), and 1 : 2 is I: E Ratio for the percentage obtained of Tidal Volume (TV) 2.7%, Minute Volume (MV) the percentage of 2.9%, Breath Rate (RR) the percentage of 1.2%, I: E ratio the percentage of 2.3%, Inspiratory Time (Ti) the percentage of 3,9%, Expiratory Time (Te) the percentage of 3.1%, Peak Inspiratory Pressure (PIP) the percentage of 13.2%, Positive End Expiratory Pressure (PEEP) the percentage of 84.3%, Peak Inspiratory Flow (PIF) the percentage of 5,3% and Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF) the percentage of 11.4%. Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the most important parts of a linear accelerator is the RF System. Two different input signals can produce distortion which can cause problems in intermodulation. Effect of RF power performance on noise as well as performance evaluation so as to produce a clear and strong signal without significant distortion or transmission loss.The Inphase quadrature analog modulator demodulator can achievec with 900 phase shit signal to I and Q inputs, the carrier signal using a variable oscillator or VCO with a single 50 MHz output. 16 Bit of ADC and DAC module optimized as input or output with I/Q analog modulator demodulator. In this paper, ADISIM RF simulation is used to display the results of the RF system design, with two parameters namely Spurios Free Dynamic Range) and IMD (Two Tone Intermodulation Distortion) for Transmitter and one parameter namely Noise Figure (NF) for Receiver. Abstract

Information and communication technology (ICT) has become the backbone of various industrial sectors. There are many applications that can be offered to solve computer repair problems remotely and Remote Desktop and TeamViewer applications are two of them. Dharma Siswa Karawaci Vocational School is committed to preparing graduates who are ready to work and highly competitive in the industrial world. The PKM of Postgraduate Program in Informatics Engineering, Pamulang University-UNPAM conducted an innovative workshop on Remote Desktop and TeamViewer on October 19, 2024. A survey showed they are satisified to participate in the workshop. Student participants can improve the skills of the Vocational School students in mastering Remote Desktop and TeamViewer technology for solving problems and managing networks remotely. The workshop will provide practical experience that suits the current needs of the IT industry, through direct training and simulations. Considering that the workshop only takes a few hours, the student participants of the workshop can continue their training not only at the school or at home, but also can communicate with the Team of S2 TI UNPAM. If necessary, the follow-up workshops can be carried out either offline or online.

Abstract

Evaluasi prestasi siswa merupakan langkah penting dalam mengukur efektivitas pendidikan, terutama di lingkungan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan kinerja tiga algoritma machine learning, yaitu Decision Tree, Naïve Bayes, dan Random Forest, dalam evaluasi prestasi siswa SMKN 8 Kabupaten Tangerang menggunakan dua platform pemrosesan data, yaitu RapidMiner dan Python. Algoritma tersebut diuji menggunakan teknik cross-validation dengan skema 5-fold, 7-fold, dan 10-fold, untuk mendapatkan akurasi terbaik dari masing-masing model. Dataset penelitian ini terdiri dari 493 data siswa dari enam jurusan: Teknik Jaringan Komputer dan Telekomunikasi (TJKT), Teknik Bisnis Sepeda Motor (TBSM), Teknik Pemesinan (TPM), Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik (TITL), Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran (OTKP), serta Akuntansi (AK). Hasil pengujian Cross Validation menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Random Forest consistently memberikan hasil terbaik pada kedua platform dengan akurasi tertinggi sebesar 87.01% pada RapidMiner (7-fold) dan 89.66% pada Python (10-fold). Naïve Bayes menempati posisi kedua dengan akurasi tertinggi 84.99% pada RapidMiner (7-fold) dan 84.18% pada Python (10-fold). Sementara itu, Decision Tree menunjukkan performa terendah, dengan akurasi tertinggi sebesar 72.82% pada RapidMiner (10-fold) dan 76.47% pada Python (5-fold). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Random Forest adalah algoritma yang paling andal untuk mengevaluasi prestasi siswa dengan akurasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dua algoritma lainnya. Selain itu Python menunjukkan kinerja yang lebih baik dibandingkan RapidMiner dalam hal akurasi model. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pihak sekolah dalam memilih metode evaluasi prestasi siswa yang lebih efektif dan efisien, serta memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam penerapan Data Mining di dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

The development of science and technology, many microcontroller-based innovations and the Internet of Things (IoT) that can be used as knowledge and practicum materials or learning media in a laboratory, while the Bogor Academy of Technology has an Informatics and Computer Technology laboratory which is currently in need additional facilities and facilities as student learning media based on microcontrollers and Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart locks, therefore the authors developed a prototype smartlock detection or Internet of Things (IoT)-based intelligent key detection as a complement to microcontroller-based student learning media in the laboratory Technology and Information Technology Bogor Academy of Technology, with the aim that the results of this study can be used as additional learning media regarding microcontroller-based smart keys. As for the development of this research, the authors analyze and use various information through journals and previous literature studies based on microcontrollers and IoT-based smart keys as references in the development of this research. With a descriptive research methodology, the results of this study can be used as complementary facilities and tools in overcoming the shortage of microcontroller-based learning media in the microcontroller-based and Internet of Things (IoT) Information and Computer Technology laboratory at the Bogor Academy of Technology in particular, and for readers in general.

Abstract

Abstract There are many challenges in operating a multi-story building so the building can operate well. One potential problem that has a serious risk of damaging assets and even causing disruption to building operations is water leaks. To detect the impact of leaks from water installations, a detection system is needed that can provide specific information about the location of the leak to the building control center. This system uses a water detector as detection and a digital direct bit module as 8-bit input to the PLC Omron CPM2A, then the PLC will send an 8-bit digital direct output signal to the Arduino Uno module and a graphic visualization display using the Omron NB10-TW001 HMI. This research method is to design hardware and software. Testing the accuracy of input and output (I/O) signals, testing detectors, power supplies, and relay modules. From the research results, it was found that the input and output signals correspond to the 8 I/O bits, namely 00000000 - 11111111 which are processed by the PLC and Arduino, the performance of the Water Detector functions well as proven by the functioning of the CRM. Abstract

ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can interact with users through a conversational format. Anyone can use ChatGPT to read and understand the contents of files or enter questions into the ChatGPT interface, allowing the AI ​​to analyze and answer questions on various topics. The ChatGPT training program for Parung Vocational High School (SMK) was conducted to improve students' digital literacy and writing skills. Amid rapid technological advances, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the learning process has become an urgent need. Through this activity, participants were introduced to ChatGPT as a digital aid that can be used to compile report outlines, improve spelling and sentence structure, and enrich written/report content quickly, precisely, and accurately. The workshop was designed based on hands-on practice, where students were trained to actively use ChatGPT features in completing their academic assignments and vocational projects. Evaluation of the activity showed that students improved their understanding of how to write reports that were coherent, logical, and adhered to writing standards. Furthermore, students became more confident and confident in expressing their ideas in writing. With this approach, the workshop not only strengthened academic skills but also taught the responsible and beneficial use of AI technology in vocational education.
