Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop teaching material products sourced from folklore for fifth grade elementary school students. While the method used in this study is Research and Development (R & D). The results of development research in this study are first, students and teachers have the same needs, namely teaching materials sourced from folklore that can be used as a companion teaching materials that have been used in school. Secondly, prototypes of folklore teaching materials have cover specifications, introductory words, table of contents, learning instructions, SK/KD/indicators/goals, material, training, summary, evaluation, assessment, final training, and bibliography, biodata of the author. Third, the validation results are stated as good or feasible to be used in Xaverius Lubuklinggau Elementary School. This is based on the results of expert validation carried out on four aspects, namely the feasibility of content or material, the feasibility of language, the feasibility of the presenter and graphics. Fourth, the effectiveness test of teaching material products proves that the results of the T-Test on teaching materials are very significant. This can be seen by the schools that were sampled in the study obtained by the results of Asymp.ig. (2-teiled) greater than the significant level of 0.05.

Abstract

Student worksheets (LKS) so far are still textual so students still have difficulty understanding the contents of the text they learn. For this reason, contextual worksheets are needed so that students are expected to understand the material and assignments they will be doing because students have initial concepts about the text to be read. This study aims to produce worksheets on writing material for scientific work proposals based on contextual grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau. This research is a type of research development or Research and Development (R&D). Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires, and tests. While the data analysis techniques in this study are the validity test and reliability test using SPSS version 20. The results of the study show that the Worksheet for Writing Contextual Scientific Work Proposals is effective in increasing students' learning abilities so that they can be used as teaching materials in schools. This is evidenced by the validity of LKS writing contextual-based scientific work proposals classified in the good category with a percentage of 79.80%. Furthermore, the practicality of LKS gained 85.4% with a very positive category. The effectiveness of LKS writing scientific paper proposals seen from the average post-test score is better than the pre-test average value of 81.52 greater than 57.45. Based on the results of the paired samples test output the average value before and after was 24.06 with Sig (2-tailed) of 0.00 (smaller than the alpha value). Thus, there are significant differences between before and after using LKS writing contextual based scientific work proposals.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop writing material of short story by using Show Not Tell (SNT). The result from this research hopefully able to use by students’ class X SMA Xaverius Lubuklinggau in learning Short Story. Writing short story is one activity that must do to inculcate the students’ creativities to explore their imagination and intuition related phenomenon that have done in their daily life trough language media. Method that used in this research was research and development. Therefore developing of material in this research combined developing model Jolly and Bolito, developing model Dick, Carey and Carey. The steps of the development of teaching materials in this study were 1) identification of needs; 2) Exploration material needs; 3) Realization contextual teaching materials; 7) Revised modules based on the results of the validation of a team of experts / specialists; 8) The field trials of the 25 students. Thus, research and development were process to develop and validate a product of education. Furthermore, data collection and data analysis in this study using the technique of questionnaires, interviews, and tests. From the data obtained information about the highest score on the pretest was 85 the highest value and the lowest value was 40, whereas in posttest, the highest value was 95 and the lowest value was 60. That is, there was an increase in the ability of students after using the results of the development of teaching materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contemporary poetry by Sutardji Calzoum Bachri with a stylistic approach. This research is content analysis based research. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Results and discussion in this study found the elements that stand out in the development of the concept of estessstis on contemporary poetry is diction and style of language. Poets are free to play the words with the aim of beautifying poetry poems. The language style used is hyperbolic language style, repetition. Keyword: Poetry, Stylistic Approach

Abstract

Community service activities aim to disseminate creative and innovative learning models for STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau students. This socialization activity was carried out by the dedication team to develop the knowledge of students who had taken course learning models, microteaching as a provision for field practice or PPL. Participants in this activity were students from STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau as many as approximately 150 students. The results of the socialization obtained that students were very enthusiastic and related to the program delivered by the Service Team. This can be seen during the question and answer session, students are interested in asking questions about the steps of creative and innovative learning models as a provision for implementation in the field.

Abstract

Daun Kelor dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan makanan (pangan) fungsional. Pemanfaatan kelor sebagai bahan makanan hanya terbatas untuk diolah menjadi sayuran saja yang dapat membosankan bila terlalu sering dikonsumsi. hanya beberapa orang saja yang mau memanfaatkan tanaman Kelor sebagai bahan pangan fungsional. Warga masyarakat sebetulnya sudah memanfaatkan lahan kosong di lingkungan rumahnya masing-masing untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai tanaman sayuran melalui polybag, namun hanya untuk jenis tanaman tertentu saja, sementara tanaman Kelor belum menjadi perhatian dan hanya dianggap sebagai tanaman pagar yang kurang dimanfaatkan sebagai tanaman pangan. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan puding cokelat lapis daun Kelor sebagai hidangan penutup (dessert) yang sehat ini untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan warga masyarakat sehingga tetap sehat, pendapatan keluarga bertambah, dan ekonomi masyarakat setempat akan meningkat, menjadikan warga masyarakat lebih sejahtera, terutama di masa sekarang dengan biaya kebutuhan hidup semakin meningkat tajam khususny RT 05 Kecamatan Kampung Melayu Kota Bengkulu. Sasaran peserta pelatihan yaitu warga masyarakat sebanyak 27 orang dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dengan menggunakan lembar observasi. Peserta pelatihan telah mengalami peningkatan keterampilan secara bermakna yaitu dari 58,33 (keterampilan awal) menjadi 91,67 (keterampilan akhir). Hal ini terbukti dari kesungguhan warga masyarakat yang ditunjukkan dalam partisipasi yang sangat baik pada saat pelatihan

Abstract

Indonesian language textbooks play a significant role in understanding students, especially in mastering the competence of writing scientific papers following the grammatical rules of the Indonesian language. The learning resource books used so far are still limited to theoretical studies and are not yet competency-based. For this reason, this research aims to develop competency-based textbooks on the Indonesian language at Universitas PGRI Silampari. The research uses the Dick, Carey, & Carey model. The research instruments used were needs analysis sheets, expert validation sheets, and tests. Qualitative data were analyzed by document content analysis, and quantitative data were analyzed by t-test. The results of the development of competency-based Indonesian language textbooks are feasible and effective in use, evidenced by the results of the validity test obtaining a score of 82 or 82%, meaning that the developed teaching materials are suitable for use. Then, from the results of the effectiveness test with the One Sample Test t-test, it was obtained sig (2-tailed) = 0.00, which is less than the value of 0.05, indicating that the textbook was used effectively by students.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan pembekalan kepada mahasiswa yang akan melaksanakan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). Pemberian pembekalan mahasiswa KKN oleh dosen Universitas PGRI Silampari diiringi dengan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sebagai Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi. Sementara pelaksanaan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu pembukaan, penyampaian materi, tanya jawab, dan evaluasi. Hasil dan pembahasan bahwa materi pengabdian yang diberikan mudah dikuasai oleh mahasiswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat materi yang disampaikan merupakan materi yang sangat penting bagi mahasiswa sebagai bekal melaksanakan Kuliah Kerja Nyata. Selama kegiatan pengabdian, mahasiswa sangat antusias dan berperan aktif menyimak, mempelajari, dan mempraktikan dalam berkomunikasi dengan teman. Keberhasilan pembekalan mahasiwa KKN terkait komunikasi efektif ini belum dapat dilihat secara langsung, hal ini akan terlihat jika nanti diimplementasikan di masyarakat. Namun jika dilihat dari hasil penyampaian materi, tingginya antusias mahasiswa manfaat yang didapatkan tentunya bertambahnya ilmu pengetahuan dan wawasan keterampilan komunikasi efektif yang diharapkan dapat membantu mahasiswa bersosialisasi selama mengabdi kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini yaitu sosialisasi pentingnya literasi di sekolah dasar sebagai salah satu wujud penguatan pendidikan karakter. Adapun metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah pertama, tahap persiapan yaitu: a) koordinasi internal, dilakukan oleh tim untuk merencanakan pelaksanaan secara terkonsep. b) koordinasi secara eksternal, dilakukan dengan pihak luar yang terkait. c) persiapan lokasi, dokumentasi, dan persiapan lainnya. Kedua, tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan: a) Pembukaan program pengabdian masyarakat. b) Penyajian materi, diskusi, praktik, simulasi, dan tanya jawab. c) Penutup. Ketiga, Monitoring. Hasil dan pembahasan dalam PKM ini bahwa pada tahap pertama yaitu tahap persiapan TIM PKM terlebih dahulu melakukan koordinasi baik secara internal dan eksternal dengan mitra PKM SD N 47 Lubuklinggau. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan oleh TIM PKM kepada mitra bahwa pentingnya sosialisasi terkait literasi di sekolah dasar sebagai salah satu wujud penguatan pendidikan karakter. Tahap kedua, tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM, TIM PKM menyampaikan tujuan kegiatan PKM yang digagas sekaligus penyampaian materi berdasarkan koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah. Menurut mereka materi yang disampaikan TIM PKM sangat membuka pemikiran bagi guru-guru bagaimana menyelesaikan permasalah yang terjadi di sekolah dasar terkait kemampuan siswa yang masih ada belum bisa membaca dan menulis. Tahap ketiga, tahap monitoring dengan melihat perkembangan literasi siswa sebagai penguat pendidikan karakter yang telah dilaksanakan di SDN 47 Lubuklinggau melalui grup WA. Setelah proses pengabdian dilakukan dengan baik diharapkan guru dapat menjadi inspirator bagi siswa sekaligus penyelenggara kegiatan literasi di sekolah.
