Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to investigate the diversity of macrofungi, especially polyporales ordo, at Purwodadi districts. The research was conducted by means of field survey at six districts, consistings of: Desa P1 Purwodadi, Desa P2 Purwodadi, Desa T2 Purwakarya, Desa U2 Karyadadi, Desa Trikarya, and Desa Sadarkarya. The method consists of observation, intervies, documentation, and identification use book and journal. Based on the result is find of 5 family and 10 species, namely: Schizophyllum commune, Hexagonia tenuis, Coriolus versicolor, Fomes fomentarius, Pycnoporus sanguineus, Pycnoporus cinnabarius, Panus rudis, Ganoderma boninense, Ganoderma applanatum, dan Rigidoporus microporus. Keywords:Macroscopic fungi,polyporales ordo, purwodadi AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis makrofungi ordo polyporales yang berada di Kecamatan Purwodadi Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey yang dilakukan di enam desa yang berada di Kecamatan Purwodadi, yaitu: Desa P1 Purwodadi, Desa P2 Purwodadi, Desa T2 Purwakarya, Desa U2 Karyadadi, Desa Trikarya dan Desa Sadarkarya. Teknik pengumpulan data dimulai dari observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan identifikasi menggunakan buku dan jurnal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa ditemukan 5 famili dan 10 spesies dari ordo polyporales, yaitu: Schizophyllum commune, Hexagonia tenuis, Coriolus versicolor, Fomes fomentarius, Pycnoporus sanguineus, Pycnoporus cinnabarius, Panus rudis, Ganoderma boninense, Ganoderma applanatum, dan Rigidoporus microporus. Kata kunci: macroscopic fungi, ordo polyporales, purwodadi

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze microbiological characteristics of kombucha from various types of tea processing which tasty to drink and gave benefits to examine some types of diseases. This research used an experimental method. The kombucha microbiology of old and new colonies were analyzed quantitatively descriptive by Levene homogeneity test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, and Shapiro-Wilk test. It was continued by Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney test. The results of data analysis were the average thickness, wet weight and diameter by using Kruskal-Wallis test that the provision of various types of processed tea was significantly different with the wet weight (0.222 < 0.05) but it was not significantly different to the thickness (0.170 > 0.05) and diameter (0.637 > 0.05) the old kombucha colony. Furthermore, Mann-Whitney test obtained was significant (p-value) > 0.05. It was showed that it was not significantly different to the average data wet weight of old kombucha colony. In addition, It was significantly different to various type of tea processing to the thickness (0.015 < 0.05) fresh weight (0.017 < 0.05), diameter (0.046 < 0.05), and the sheet (0.042 < 0.05) new kombucha colony. Furthermore, Mann-Whitney test obtained was significant (p-value) > 0.05. It means that it was not significantly effective to the average data of thickness, wet weight, diameter, sheet new kombucha colonies. The best treatment was administrating of green tea (P3) in the old and new kombucha colonies were significantly different from other treatments.

Abstract

This research aims to know the utilization of gadung (Dioscorea hispida Dennst) tuber concentrate on natural latex (Hevea brasiliensis) rubber coagulation. The design used in this study was completely randomized design (RAL) with 6 treatments and 4 replications consisting of control and treatment group with concentration of 20 ml, 40 ml, 60 ml, 80 ml and 100 ml. The parameters observed were latex coagulation by administering some concentrations of gadung tuber. One way Anava test with 0.05% significance level showed significant result that is Fcount = 53 and Ftable = 2,77. This shows that gadung tuber concentrate gives a very real effect on latex coagulation. Thus it can be concluded that there is the effect of gadung tuber concentrate to natural rubber latex coagulation.

Abstract

Walang sangit (Leptocorisa acuta L.) as a rice bug is a pest that can cause a decrease in rice production (Oryza sativa L.). Excessive use of chemical pesticides will cause resistance or immunity to the pest itself. Gadung (Dioscorea hispida L.) has a compound HCN (cyanide acid) that potentially cause metabolic disturbance in insects. This study aims to determine the extract of gadung tuber effect as bioinsecticide of rice bug against rice. This research was conducted in Biology Laboratory of STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau South Sumatera Province, with 5 treatment groups and 5 replications. The research design used was complete randomized design (RAL) with P0 control (-) without giving of starch bulb, P1 20 gr / l, P2 40 gr / l, P3 60 gr / l, P4 80 gr / l. Based on the results of analysis with Anava One Path test obtained results Fcount = 7.72 with Ftable = 4.43. It shows there is a significant influence of the extract of gadung tuber as bioinsecticide of rice bug against rice plant.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce environmental-based plant morphology teaching materials at STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau and describe student responses after using it as a result of development. The type of research carried out is the Research and Development (R&D) development model of Dick and Carey by developing teaching materials in the form of learning design books. The results of the study by three validators, namely content/material feasibility experts, obtained a percentage value of 91.4%, the results of validation data analysis from presentation and graphic experts, obtained a percentage value of 95.5%, the results of validation data analysis from linguistic experts, namely the percentage obtained a value of 80%, the results of the analysis of student response questionnaire data are obtained by a percentage value of 94% with the eligibility criteria, which means that the teaching materials are in the very good category and do not need to be revised. The validation results indicate that the product developed has a high validity value and can be declared eligible to be used as a source of independent learning. Student responses in the criteria assessed from teaching materials have received good and very good grades so that teaching materials are suitable for use as independent learning resources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengetahuan dan persepsi masyarakat di Kecamatan Tugumulyo tentang pemanfatan tumbuhan obat familI Solanaceae untuk pengembangan program tumbuhan obat. Penelitian dilaksanakan empat tahap yaitu tahap pertama mengumpulkan data sekunder berupa studi pustaka. Tahap kedua melakukan observasi lapangan dan wawancara dengan responden, dilanjutkan tahap ketiga mengambil data tumbuhan obat yang ada di sekitar pekarangan rumah warga, tegalan, sawah, kebun/ladang, pinggiran jalan di Kecamatan Tugumulyo. Selanjutnya, tahap keempat mengolah dan menganalisis seluruh data yang diperoleh pada tahap sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap jenis dan manfaat tumbuhan obat cukup tinggi. Teridentifikasi 11 jenis tumbuhan dari 5 genus yang telah dikenali oleh masyarakat sebagai tumbuhan obat. Persepsi responden terhadap tumbuhan obat positif yaitu menganggap tumbuhan obat aman, tidak memiliki efek samping, murah, praktis karena ditemukan lingkungan sekitar dan manfaatnya bagi tubuh sangat terasa. Namun persepsi ini belum sejalan dengan kecenderungan masyarakat dalam mengobati penyakit. Umumnya responden lebih cenderung menggunakan obat kimia baik dari dokter maupun obat warung. Pengetahuan masyarakat tentang tumbuhan obat dapat ditingkatkan guna memperluas pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat ditengah masyarakat. Diantaranya pengetahuan tentang kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder untuk setiap bagian tumbuhan obat, pengolahan pascapanen, dosis penggunaan yang tepat. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the ecological factors in the growth site of the Solanaceae family and the plant species of the Solanaceae family that can and can not be consumed in Tugumulyo District.The type of this research is descriptive exploration. Technique of taking data with observation and interview. The work done is direct observation to the field. Data obtained from the research are analyzed descriptively qualitative. The result of this research is ecological factor at the growth site of Solanaceae family in Tugumulyo District ranges between temperature 27-33oC, humidity is 69 - 92%, and acidity degree (pH) 6,2 - 6,8. A total of 9 species that can be consumed and made into spices and vegetables are Capsicum annum, Capsicum, frutescens, Physalis angulata, Solanum indicum, Solanum lycopersicum, Solanum melongena, Solanum nigrum, Solanum torvum, Solanum tuberosum. And 2 species that can not be consumed by the public and toxic are Cestrum nocturnum and Datura metel which is an ornamental plant.

Abstract

Staphylococcus aureus is a nosocomial problem that can cause skin infections. Treatment of skin infections can be done by using citronella (Cymbopogon nardus) which is antibacterial because it contains compounds such as flavonoids, steroids, terpenoids, saponins, and essential oils. This study aims to determine the antibacterial power of Cymbopogon nardus leaf starch essence against Staphylococcus aureus inhibition zone. This type of research is a laboratory experiment using a post-test only control group design. The results showed that the extract of Cymbopogon nardus leaves with a concentration of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% with positive control of ampicillin had different inhibitory zona against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The conclusion is that the concentration of Cymbopogon nardus leaf starch is the most effective and forms an inhibition zone with the largest average (16.28), namely a concentration of 20%.Keywords: Antibacterial, lemongrass, Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract

Anggrek merupakan salah satu suku tumbuhan berbunga dengan anggota jenis terbanyak, jenis-jenisnya tersebar luas dari daerah tropika basah hingga wilayah tropis. Sumatera Selatan merupakan salah satu pusat keanekaragaman hayati tropis yang tinggi termasuk tumbuhan langka dan endemik Anggrek (Orchidaceae). Kecamatan Tugumulyo yang terdiri dari 18 Desa dengan suhu iklim yang baik yaitu 29℃ suhu maksimum, 21℃ suhu minimum, dan 25℃ suhu rata-rata yang sangat baik untuk pertumbuhan berbagai jenis tumbuhan, salah satunya adalah tanaman anggrek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis anggrek di Kecamatan Tugumulyo . Teknik pengambilan data dengan observasi dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian dianalisis secara deskritif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 32 spesies dari 11 genus yaitu Genus Acriopsis, Genus Arachnis, Genus Aeridachis, Genus Arundina, Genus Bromheadia, Genus Dendrobium, Genus Grammatophyllum, Genus Oncidium, Genus Phalaenopsis, Genus Spathologittis, dan Genus Vanda. Kata Kunci : Inventaris, Anggrek, Tugumulyo.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis tumbuhan famili Solanaceae di Kecamatan Tugumulyo. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif eksplorasi. Teknik pengambilan data dengan observasi dan wawancara. Cara kerja yang dilakukan yaitu observasi lapangan dan observasi laboratorium. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu dengan mencocokkan ciri-ciri sampel yang telah ditemukan dengan buku acuan yaitu buku karangan Gembong Tjitrosoepomo tahun 2010 dan Van Steenis., et al tahun 2008. Hasil penelitian didapat 5 genus dan 11 species yaitu Genus Solanum diperoleh 6 species: Solanum indicum (Terung peuheur), Solanum lycopersicum (Tomat), Solanum melongena (Terung), Solanum nigrum (Leunca) dan Solanum torvum (Takokak), Solanum tuberosum (Kentang). Kemudian genus Capsicum diperoleh 2 species: Capsicum annum (Cabe merah) dan Capsicum frutescens (Cabe rawit), genus Datura diperoleh 1 species: Datura metel (Kecubung), genus Brugmansia diperoleh 1 species: Cestrum nocturnum (Harum Dalu), dan genus Physalis diperoleh 1 species: Physalis angulata (Ceplukan).
