Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, challenges in the field of education have become increasingly complex. This research aims to develop the UTeach learning guidance application, designed to assist students of Universitas Klabat in addressing academic issues. The application enables students to book mentors and meet face-to-face for guidance sessions. By implementing and utilizing the prototype model development method using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), this study designs a prototype application aimed at facilitating student access to learning guidance by reducing time and distance barriers. Prototype testing is conducted through trials to evaluate the performance and usability of the application. This application is anticipated to serve as a potential tool in supporting Universitas Klabat students in improving academic performance and addressing financial issues. Development recommendations for this application may include adding conversation features, incorporating notification features, and developing a mobile application to enhance user efficiency. This research contributes to the advancement of educational technology by offering innovative solutions to enhance student learning experiences.

Abstract

The Community Service activities that have been carried out at SD - SMP - SMA Madison School aim to introduce teachers, especially in making learning media videos where to attract students' interest in participating in learning is by using learning media. One of the most effective learning media is by using video. From the results of the pre-test, it was found that the teachers at Madison Scholl had used videos as learning media but many were still unable to make learning media videos so that the introduction to making learning media videos was very appropriate. The material provided is making learning media videos with Microsoft PowerPoint. Based on the results of the post-test, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge in making learning media videos.

Abstract

Temperature and humidity are critical factors that influence the health and productivity of broiler chickens. Manual monitoring and control of coop conditions are often ineffective and inefficient, leading to a decline in production quality. This research aims to develop a prototype IoT-based monitoring and controlling system for temperature and humidity in broiler chicken coops. The system employs a DHT22 sensor to measure temperature and humidity, a Wemos D1 R1 microcontroller for data processing, and the Blynk application as a user interface for real-time monitoring and notifications. The Evolutionary Prototyping method is applied in the development of this system to allow gradual adjustments based on user needs. Testing results show that the prototype can monitor temperature and humidity in real-time and automatically activate fans or lights when the temperature is outside the optimal range. With this system, farmers can monitor coop conditions remotely, simplifying farm management.

Abstract

Laporan kehadiran real-time Kuliah Umum Fakultas Ilmu Komputer – Universitas Klabat menggunakan teknologi mit app inventor merupakan aplikasi pencatatan dan pelaporan absen kegiatan kuliah umum secara cepat dengan tingkat keakuratan yang tepat. Kehadiran merupakan suatu rutinitas dan bagian penting dalam setiap instansi pendidikan untuk membuktikan keaktifan dan keseriusan mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan. Faktor kehadiran pada kegiatan Kuliah Umum menjadi salah satu tolok ukur bagi seorang mahasiswa untuk dapat melanjutkan perkuliahan pada semester berikutnya. Adalah suatu keperluan untuik membangun suatu sistem pelaporan dan pencatatan pencatatan kehadiran bagi kegiatan Kuliah Umum bagi Fakultas Ilmu Komputer yang masih masih melakukan pencatatan secara manual yaitu dengan menjalankan fomulir absen dalam bentuk kertas dan butuh waktu yang lama terkait pencatatan atau pun paraf kehadiran. Penelitian dengan menggunakan implementasi dari mit app inventor ini dibuat untuk membangun sebuah aplikasi yang akan dijalankan pada smartphone dengan sistem operasi android yang mendukung fitur pemindaian qrcode/barcode pada ID card mahasiswa untuk menghasilkan laporan secara cepat dan otomatis ke dalam database menggunakan fitur scan in time dan scan out time serta fitur delete record untuk menghapus seluruh data yang telah di record. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode prototype yang dibuat lebih cepat sehingga dalam pengembangan membutuhkan waktu yang singkat. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan media spreadsheet berbasis cloud sebagai database dan juga app script sebagai sarana untuk membangun program yang dapat menjalankan fungsi blockcodes dari mit app inventor untuk pencatatan dan pelaporan absen Kuliah Umum secara real-time dan secara langsung dapat diakses oleh pihak fakultas kapanpun dan dimanapun. Pengujian aplikasi ini telah dilakukan pengujian pada smartphone Android dan berhasil di pasang pada Android versi 5.1.1 ke atas.
