Abstract

The selection of faculty student ambassadors at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Fatah Palembang is a routine activity, and is a prestigious award for students. The selection of student ambassadors aims to prepare the best students at the faculty level. This event is important to be carried out objectively, because the student ambassadors are representatives of students on campus activities. In the selection process there are problems such as the assessment that is not transparent, thus giving the opportunity for the jury to give a subjective assessment of the participants. In this research, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method was used to help make decisions. This research aims to build a web-based decision support system for selecting faculty student ambassadors using the SAW method. The Decision Support System is used to assist the jury and the committee team in conducting the participant assessment process based on predetermined criteria so that it can assist in making an objective assessment. In this research there are 12 criteria used. This research resulted in a decision support system that can be used to assist the jury and committee in conducting an objective assessment process. The final result of the selection process is carried out by the system using the SAW method for the process of calculating the participant's value.

Abstract

Pemodelan dengan Metode Dempster Shafer Pada Sistem Pakar Pengobatan Tradisional Penyakit Jantung. Sistem pakar ini dapat memberikan informasi tentang pengobatan tradisional penyakit jantung berdasarkan basis pengetahuan yaitu berupa gejala-gejala penyakit jantung (Tangan terasa dingin, Mudah kehabisan nafas, Sianosis bibir, Palpitasi ringan, Lemah, Tidak bersemangat, Kegelisahan mental, Pucat, Berkeringat, Anggota tubuh terasa dingin, Bibir pucat, Pelupa, Mudah terkejut, Rasa panas pada telapak tangan, kaki dan dada, Tidur yang terganggu, Wajah pucat, Kecemasan, Merasa panas, Sariawan, Tidak nyaman, Perilaku yang kasar, Napas pendek, Rasa pahit, Dada terasa penuh, Aphasia, Kebingungan, Bicara tidak menentu, Penurunan daya reaksi, Muntah, Kemerahan, Urine gelap, Wajah merah), dari gejala-gejala tersebut dapat menyimpulkan penyakit jantung apa yang diderita (Defisiensi Qi, Defisiensi Yang, Gagal Yang, Defisiensi Darah Jantung, Defisiensi Yin Jantung, Berkobarnya Api Jantung, Dahak Api Bergolak Api, Dahak Menyelubungi Jantung, Stagnasi Darah Jantung Infark Acuta) sesuai dengan aturan-aturan (rule) penyakit jantung. Metode Dempster-shafer dapat membantu memberikan hasil nilai densitas yang paling kuat dari masing-masing penyakit jantung dengan bobot nilai awal ditentukan oleh pakar. Menghitung nilai densitas kesatu dan kedua, lalu menghitung kembali nilai densitas baru untuk setiap himpunan bagian fungsi dengan fungsi densitas selanjutnya sehingga akan didapatkan nilai densitas yang paling kuat dari gejala yang terakhir. Kata kunci—Sistem pakar, Pengobatan Tradisional, Jantung, Metode Dempster-Shafer.

Abstract

Website salah satu media yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh pemilik bisnis dalam memudahkan proses penjualan produk. Cara penjualan yang digunakan oleh toko cahaya sunnah masih manual, dimana konsumen yang ingin membeli dan mendapatkan informasi produk harus datang langsung ke toko, hal ini terasa kurang efektif bagi konsumen dan keberlangsungan proses bisnis di Toko Cahaya Sunnah, Karena permasalahan inilah penulis memiliki inisiatif untuk dibuat Sistem Informasi Penjualan Produk Berbasis Web. Metode yang digunaan dalam pembuatan sistem adalah metode Rational Unified Process atau biasa disebut RUP. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem penjualan yang diharapkan bisa memberi manfaat terhadap Toko Cahaya Sunnah seperti memberikan kemudahan dalam menjual produk, meningkatakan jumlah pelanggan, dan meningkatkan pendapatan pada toko.

Abstract

Learning by conveying material or lectures is considered less effective and so monotonous in the teaching and learning process that has been carried out in each school, for this reason media support is needed in delivering the material to be studied so that students have an interest in learning. In addition, with this learning method, it is hoped that learning activities can be carried out properly and the quality and quantity of students will increase. Absorption of material presented by the author will be easier if done with an effective learning method. Therefore, on Tuesday 08 March 2022, from 09.00 to 12.00 the PKM team at Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, consisting of 11 lecturers and 3 students, had the opportunity to provide training in coordination with the pesantren and 25 students. This training aims to provide knowledge and add insight to activity participants about the importance of using technology-based learning media. The importance of teaching media that is carried out makes students more interested in the learning system using quizziz. The result achieved by the participant were more enthusiastic in learning using this Quizizz learning media.

Abstract

This research aims to design the User Interface of the POLDA Digital Information System by implementing the Design Thinking method. In the research, the Design Thinking method was used. Design Thinking is an innovative approach that focuses on human needs, adopted from design practices, and integrates aspects such as user needs, technical possibilities, and success requirements. The results showed several key issues, including difficult system navigation, suboptimal document search features, and the absence of automatic notifications. These issues were the main concerns in the user interface design, and solutions to these issues included simplifying navigation, developing a more efficient search feature, and adding automated notification elements. By implementing these solutions, SIPOLDI is expected to improve the user experience of this application.

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to discuss the application of the prototype method in developing a user interface for the PINPORI program. To improve the quality and benefits of the PINPORI application, several suggestions can be implemented. First, improve user interaction by adding a discussion forum feature to share information and experiences, integrate the “question and answer” feature with a chatbot or online help service, and encourage users to provide feedback. Second, enrich content and features by adding an “inspirational story” feature, providing more detailed information about awards, and developing an “achievement map” feature. Third, increase community engagement by organizing contests or competitions, offering prizes or awards, and collaborating with organizations or communities. By implementing these suggestions, the PINPORI app is expected to become a more interactive, informative and useful platform for the community, and strengthen the positive relationship between the police and the community.

Abstract

The main focus of this research is centered on the issue of low critical thinking skills among high school students, particularly in the study of elasticity and Hooke's law. The research aims to investigate how a context-based learning model with the assistance of PhET simulations influences students' critical thinking skills in the context of elasticity and Hooke's law. The study was conducted at SMAS Cengkareng 1 Jakarta for five weeks in October 2023, involving a sample of 30 students. The sample selection utilized purposive sampling, comprising 30 students from class XI MIPA B (control group) and class XI MIPA A (experimental group). The applied design was quasi-experimental with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection involved a critical thinking test instrument consisting of twelve essay-type questions (validated with a validity of 0.86 and reliability of 0.83). The results of the posttest hypothesis test using the t-test at a significance level of 0.05 showed a sig.(2-tailed) value of 0.000, with the conclusion H0 rejected (indicating the influence of the context-based learning model with PhET simulation assistance on students' critical thinking skills). The critical thinking of the experimental group showed a greater improvement (N-gain 0.459 in the moderate category) compared to the control group (N-gain 0.288 in the low category). The implications of this research encourage educators to implement learning models to enhance low critical thinking skills, allowing students to actively engage with complex challenges related to real-life contexts. The study underscores the need to improve critical thinking skills across various subjects.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi menjadi kebutuhan esensial bagi organisasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam pengelolaan proses administrasi. Untuk memberikan kemudahan peserta magang dalam berinteraksi dan komunikasi terhadap bagian yang menerima dan informasi magang Polda Sumsel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Metode User Centered Design (UCD) merupakan pendekatan proses perancangan desain antarmuka secara berulang (interative). Polda Sumsel belum tersedia aplikasi khusus untuk mengelola proses penerimaan peserta magang baik untuk pengguna maupun untuk masing-masing satuan kerja, sehingga dirancang aplikasi E-Magang sebagai narahubung dan komunikasi antar pengguna yaitu peserta magang, admin SDM dan satuan kerja untuk mempermudah mengelola berkas pendaftaran masuk, mengkonfirmasi terima dan tolak peserta dan meninjau apakah masih dibutuhkan peserta magang pada tempat yang dituju.
