A preliminary observation revealed that a number of people living near Mount Hill considered to start their business but they were lack of money and skills. This community service was conducted through a training purposed for improving their knowledge about enterpreneurship, motivation and skills on resin craft making. Conducted in November 27, 2016 in Magersari, Magelang, it was aimed at those living in RW VII. It was devided into two steps, preparation and training activities. The preparation covered the coordination with the stakeholders and participants, and the materials preparation. While the training activity provided the introduction of entrepreneurship, motivation and resin crafting experience. SWOT technique was presented in the entrepreneurship discussion activity. Then the crafts they experienced was made of resin. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the training gave them better understanding about entrepreneurship. Besides, they were finally able to create resin crafts. Follow-up was so needed to develop their skills that could be a souvenier business in Mount Tidar.

This research aims to determine the effect of the example non example models of learning achievement in Social science Students of State Elementary School Grade 1 Maduretno Kaliangkrik Magelang. The approach used in this study the pre-experimental research, design The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design, by 9 meetings, are given treatment through learning in the classroom. The subjects of this study were 15 students who have learning achievement of Social Sciences is low. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique. There are two variables used in the research are: the dependent variable in the form of learning achievement of Social Sciences, as well as the independent variable in the form of a model example of non example. The data collection technique used is the learning achievement test Social Sciences.The results of a study reported an average score early measurement of learning achievement of Social Sciences students is 56.80, while the average score of the final measurement of learning achievement of Social Sciences students are reaching 77,87.Hypothesis testing using analytical techniques Wilcoxon signed rank test with SPSS for windows version 22.00. Based on the analysis of achievement learn there is a difference of Social Sciences students between the initial measurement and the final measurement with the value of Z at -3415 with sig 0,000 (sig <0.05), which means that there is a model example of non example influence the learning achievement of Social Sciences.

This study aims to determine the effect of media on students? speaking skills diorama Class IV Elementary School 1 Maduretno Kalikajar District of Wonosobo. The method used is experiment with this type of pre-experimental designand experimental models one group pretest posttest design of data collection instruments while this study of an oral test sheet. Samples were fourth grade students of State Elementary School 1 Maduretno, District Kalikajar, Wonosoboregency school with the number of 20 subjects, data analysis using statistical techniques with Wilcoxon Signed Test Rank. The results showed that the media diorama effect in the skills of speaking at State Primary School 1 Maduretno, District Kalikajar, Wonosobo regency. It is evident the increase in the average value of the initial measurement (pretest) 51.65 into 68.40 on the average value of measurement end (posttest) by a margin of 16.75 and Asym sign = 0,000 <? = 0.05 with value Z -3926. This means that the hypothesis which states that: ?Media diorama effect on the speaking skills?, accepted and proven his righteousness. The conclusions of this study is the speaking skills of students has increased after being treated in the form of media diorama. Master class IV diorama can use the media as an alternative medium of learning in learning Indonesian spoke aspects to improve students? speaking skills. Based on these results, the media diorama effect on conversational skills.

Textbook as a material for the school subject within the levels of primary and secondary education. Textbook as a school?s teaching material has a vital role in forming students? character. This is in line with the current situation, where teaching material is needed to be investigated in terms of content, especially the content of the nationalism values. This study aims to explain the content of the nationalism character values within a Textbook on the school subject of Indonesian Language for the primary school level. The method used in this study is literature review and content analysis. Literature review is done to acquire the appropriate book through the detailed and accurate searching all of the textbook. Meanwhile, the content analysis is performed through analyzing the content of nationalism character value in the textbook for the school subject of Indonesian Language, which covers the following: (1) religiosity; (2) honesty; (3) tolerance; (4) discipline; (5) hard-work; (6) creativity; (7) self-reliance; (8) democracy; (9) curiosity; (10) national spirits; (11) nationalism; (12) respect toward achievement; (13) friendliness/communicative value; (14) peace-loving; (15) literacy ? love of reading; (16) caring for the environment; (17) social care; and (18) responsibility. The result of the content analysis of the Indonesian Language for the textbook for the Primary School level shows that the content for the nationalism character values in the textbook has not been fully and proportionally covered. Besides, the content is still dominated by the aspect of knowledge and has not emphasized on the comprehension, values internationalization, and its implementation.

This study aims to provide the Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) as a Preventive of Student ProcrastinationBehavior at Muhammadiyah University of Magelang. The method in this study is experiment (One Group Pretest-PosttestDesign). Students are measured by using procrastination scale. The data analysis used to test the hypothesis of this study bynon-parametric statistical analysis of two interconnected samples test using wilcoxon signed ranks to see the difference betweenacademic procrastination behavior before and after training.Based on the analysis of pretest and posttest data, it is knownthat there is a difference between pretest and posttest with sig value 0.924 (Sig> 0,05), it means the hypothesis is rejected thatthere is no significant difference of academic procrastination between before training (pretest) and after training (posttest), so thetraining that has been conducted in this research is less able to give effect to the decrease of the student?s academic procrastinationbehavior based on the procrastination scale, but when viewed from the interview and observation result during the training andposttest shows that the students are very enthusiastic and inspired by the activity, To abstain from academic procrastinationbehavior. It is also seen that one month after the training, students are more excited to come to the class on time, more visiblytough, cheerful, and more eager not to delay doing tasks.

The research aims to develop module of bahasa which combined by national character. Background of this study is there’s not yet any module of bahasa which combined by national character, in the other side Indonesia needs teacher who able to teach and guide the children with national character to tighten the children’s nationality. By using this product, we hope that the student of elementary school teacher education (candidate of teacher) will able to teach and guide the children with national character. The research was supported by the expert in each field. The research divided become four step which called four-D (1) define; (2) design; (3) develop; and (4) disseminate. But, the duration of the research is only one year, so it caused the research only able to achieve third level (develop). The product of this research is a module of bahasa combined by national character which ready to used by lecturer in elementary school teacher education. Object of the research are the student of elementary school teacher education (candidate of teacher) in University of Muhammadiyah Magelang, Central Java. The result of the study described that development of module bahasa is done effectively. It can be seen from the lecturers and students respond who had helped by the module.

Observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa banyak warga sekitar tempat wisata Gunung Tidar yang berkeinginan untuk membuka usaha namun terkendala dana dan keterampilan. Pengabdian ini berupa pelatihan keterampilan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dalam berwirausaha dan memberikan keterampilan kerajinan resin. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan pada 27 November 2016 di Kelurahan Magersari. Peserta dari kegiatan ini adalah warga RW VII sekitar Gunung Tidar Kelurahan Magersari. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, persiapan dan pelatihan. Tahap persiapan meliputi koordinasi dengan dinas terkait dan peserta serta persiapan materi dan perlengkapan. Sedangkan tahap pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan materi berwirausaha, motivasi, dan praktik keterampilan kerajinan resin. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi warga sekitar Gunung Tidar untuk berwirausaha. Selain itu, mereka menjadi terampil dalam membuat kerajinan resin. Dibutuhkan tindak lanjut dari pemerintah dalam rangka mengembangkan keterampilan tersebut sebagai sebuah usaha souvenir di Kawasan Gunung Tidar

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan partisipasi siswa kelas V SD Negeri Keputran IV Yogyakarta melalui penggunaan media audio elektronika wireless microphone.Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Keputran IV Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Clasroom action research). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dan telah menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi siswa secara signifikan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan lembar pengamatan dan angket terbuka bagi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik presentase. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Siswa kelas V SD Negeri Keputran IV Yogyakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar pengamatan dan angket terbuka dengan responden siswa. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan dengan sistem kolaborasi dengan guru kelas.Berdasarkan hasil data yang diperoleh maka dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan partisipasi siswa setelah menggunakan media audio wireless microphone. Adapun peningkatan tersebut secara bertahap dapat dijelaskan sebagai berikut: sebelum dilakukan tindakan terhadap siswa, terdapat 30% siswa yang aktif berpartisipasi. Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus pertama, partisipasi siswa yang aktif meningkat menjadi 50% dan pada siklus kedua partisipasi siswa meningkat lagi menjadi 92%. Dari kedua siklus itu maka dapat dicermati bahwa terjadi peningkatan partisipasi siswa pada siklus pertama sebesar 20% dan siklus kedua meningkat lagi 42% dari siklus sebelumnya. Dengan mengacu pada target penelitian yakni sebanyak 80%siswa berpartisipasi secara sempurna, maka penggunaan media audio wireless microphone selama dua siklus ini dapat dikatakan telah mengalami keberhasilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas penggunaan modul perkuliahan berbasis karakter terhadap pemahaman kurikulum 2013 terutama aspek karakter kebangsaan mahasiswa PGSD FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen kuasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UMMgl semester 5 dengan sampel sebanyak 40 mahasiswa yang terbagi menjadi dua kelas yakni kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Kelas 5A diperlakukan sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan penggunaan modul perkuliahan berbasis karakter dan kelas 5B sebagai kelas kontrol tanpa menggunakan modul perkuliahan berbasis karakter. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes berupa soal tertulis. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan rumus uji-t.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penggunaan Modul Perkuliahan Berbasis Karakter efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai nilai-nilai karakter kebangsaan pada kurikulum 2013. Ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai t-hitung sebesar (11,112). Hasil perhitungan ini kemudian dibandingkan dengan t-tabel dengan taraf signifikansi =0,05 yang ternyata sebesar (1,729). Karena t-hitung (11,112)>t-tabel (1,729) maka penggunaan modul perkuliahan berbasis karakter dinyatakan efektif; (2) Perkuliahan tanpa modul berbasis karakter tidak terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai nilai-nilai karakter kebangsaan pada kurikulum 2013. Ini ditunjukkan dari hasil perhitungan dengan uji-t diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar (0,745). Hasil perhitungan ini kemudian dibandingkan dengan t-tabel dengan taraf signifikansi =0,05 yang diperoleh t-tabel (1,729). Karena t-hitung (0,745) < t-tabel (1,729) maka perkuliahan tanpa modul berbasis karakter tidak terbukti efektif. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan modul perkuliahan berbasis karakter terbukti lebih efektif dibandingkan perkuliahan tanpa modul perkuliahan berbasis karakter dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UMMgl mengenai nilai karakter kebangsaan dalam kurikulum 2013.
