Abstract

Canva adalah aplikasi desain grafis yang digunakan untuk membuat grafis media sosial, presentasi, poster, dokumen dan konten visual lainnya. Canva dapat digunakan dalam beberapa versi yaitu web, iPhone, dan android. Pada kegiatan ini, pelatihan di fokuskan mengakses canva via web. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah memberi pelatihan kepada guru-guru SD dan SMP Swasta HKBP Padang Bulan-Medan untuk mendesain dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi canva, khususnya mendesain poster menarik sesuai kreasi masing-masing guru. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah berikut, yaitu analisis situasi masyarakat, identifikasi masalah, menentukan tujuan kerja, rencana pemecahan masalah, pendekatan sosial, pelaksanaan kegiatan, serta evaluasi kegiatan dan hasil. Setelah kegiatan ini selesai, para peserta sudah mampu menghasilkan sebuah karya desain poster yang menarik dan diharapkan dikemudian hari peserta dapat memanfaatkan aplikasi canva untuk kebutuhan yang lain.

Abstract

Employees are people who are able to work and produce goods and services for their own needs and society. Every company really yearns for employees who are able to work professionally so that the company's targets can be met. How does the company motivate employees by rewarding the best employees so that employees are motivated to work. Selection of the best employees by setting 5 (five) criteria, namely: Discipline, Loyalty, Communication, Attendance and Problem Solving. The assessment is carried out by taking attendance data and observation visually. The Fuzzy Tsukamoto method is used to obtain accurate, relevant and quickly presented results. Developed an information system to be able to produce the right decision by processing 5 (five) criteria data whose processing combines all criteria values and high rated values as the BEST value.

Abstract

Kepuasan mahasiswa adalah tingkat perasaan mahasiswa setelah mendapatkan pelayanan dari suatu kepentingannya. Perasaan tersebut timbul karena mahasiswa membandingkan harapan mengenai jasa yang akan diperoleh dengan kenyataan yang ada. Kepuasan itu sifatnya subjektif dan penilaian tetap tergantung kepada mahasiswa yang memperoleh pelayanan itu. Dengan demikian dibutuhkan rumusan untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan tersebut lalu di analisa dan di ambil keputusan mengenai tingkat kepuasan yang diperoleh. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dari mahasiswa aktif, dimana kuesioner disebar dalam bentuk google formulir disebabkan pembelajaran masih dilakukan secara daring oleh karena pandemi covid-19. Dalam penelitian ini, tujuan yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap kualitas pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh perguruan tinggi AMIK Medan Business Polytechnic dengan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), yaitu menggunakan atribut Wujud (Tangibles), Keandalan (realibility), Ketanggapan (responsiveness), Kepastian (Assurance), Empati (Empathy). Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil rata-rata tingkat kesesuaian antara kinerja (Performance) dan kepentingan (Importance) sebesar 95% dan itu berarti kriteria tingkat kesesuaian sudah sangat sesuai. Namun oleh karena nilai tingkat kesesuaian masih kurang dari 100% maka masih perlu dilakukan perbaikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan di kampus AMIK Medan Business Polytechnic.

Abstract

Tanaman kelapa sawit mempunyai peran penting bagi pembangunan perkebunan nasional di Indonesia. Selain sumber perolehan devisa negara, juga sebagai pencipta lapangan kerja kerja yang dapat mensejahteraan masyarakat. Kurangnya informasi untuk menangani penyakit kelapa sawit tersebut bahkan susahnya orang awam dalam berkonsultasi langsung dengan seorang pakar membuat petani kesulitan dalam menangani penyakit pada tanaman kelapa sawit tersebut. Dari penjelasan di atas untuk itu penulis membuat suatu sistem pakar mendiagnosa penyakit tanaman kelapa sawit dengan metode Case Base Reasionong (CBR) yang dimaksudkan untuk membantu kerja petani dalam memberikan informasi serta kesimpulan dari penyakit yang di derita pada tanaman kelapa sawit tersebut. Experimen yang dilakukan dengan mendiagnosa gejala-gejala penyakit tanaman kelapa sawit dan jenis penyakit kelapa sawit tersebut, dan memberikan solusi yang tepat untuk penanganannya. CBR dikembangkan dari sistem pembelajaran berbasis kesamaan (similarity). Berdasarkan pengujian dan analisis sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit Tanaman Kelapa Sawit mampu mendiagnosis dengan perhitungan kemiripan dengan metode CBR. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan metode CBR kedekatan terhadap kasus lama sebesar 0,78.

Abstract

In today's era of open information, society's need for information is increasingly urgent and important. This encourages various elements of society to demand their basic rights, especially the right to obtain information. The public's need for information is a basic right for every person in order to develop their personal qualities and in order to live their social life. Social media or what is also known as social networking is part of new media. It is clear that the interactive content in new media is very high, thus allowing a lot of misuse in conveying information and messages which results in misinformation among fellow social media users and even gives rise to misguided understandings (hoaxes) and hate speech. For this reason, policy and intelligence are needed in using social media so that the information sent and received is quality information and not misleading. By carrying out socialization and counseling wisely and intelligently using social media among the community, it is hoped that it can help the community (especially in Simanindo Village, Simanindo sub-district, Samosir Regency) in using good, healthy and high-quality social media.

Abstract

The Inventory management at SD yayasan Perguruan Gajah Mada has been carried out manually using paper-based records, which often leads to several issues such as delays in data retrieval, risk of data loss, and inaccuracies in Inventory reports. These conditions affect the effectiveness of managing the school’s facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to develop a School Inventory Management Information System that facilitates recording, managing, and reporting inventory more effectively, efficiently, and accurately by applying Unified Modelling Language (UML) in the system design process. The research adopts a research and development (R&D) approach, consisting of system requirements analysis, system design using UML (use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram, and sequence diagram), system implementation, and testing using the black-box method to ensure proper system functionality. The inventory management information system developed using UML at SD Yayasan Perguruan Gajah Mada proves to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy in managing school inventory. This system is expected to provide a sustainable solution in supporting the management of educational facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Travel activities' growth as an effort to seek balance, harmony, and happiness with the environment has intensified competition in the tourism industry. Therefore, this study employs the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to aid in selecting travel packages and reservations. This method enables the assessment of alternative performances based on specified criteria such as hotel class, package price, number of tours, and tour duration. The SAW process involves normalizing decision matrices and summing matrix multiplications with a weight vector, resulting in alternative rankings from the largest to the smallest. The case study demonstrates that the selection of travel packages is conducted by assigning weights to each criterion, such as hotel class, package price, number of tours, and tour duration. The final results reveal alternative rankings, facilitating decision-makers in choosing travel packages that align with their preferences. By utilizing the SAW method, this decision support system streamlines the assessment and selection of travel packages, enhancing service quality and consumer satisfaction in the tourism industry.

Abstract

Selecting computer laboratory assistant candidates is a multi-criteria decision problem because the decision must simultaneously consider academic performance, subject mastery, technical competence, interpersonal communication, and teaching ability. This study aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System using Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) to produce an objective, transparent, and traceable candidate ranking. The study applies a quantitative-computational approach and prototype development. Five criteria are included: grade point average with a weight of 0.20, relevant course grade 0.25, competency or technical test 0.25, interview 0.15, and microteaching 0.15. The analysis consists of decision matrix construction, normalization, ideal reference sequence determination, deviation calculation, Grey Relational Coefficient, Grey Relational Grade, ranking, and sensitivity analysis of the distinguishing coefficient. The final ranking places A3 first with a GRG of 0.7536, followed by A5 at 0.7086, A1 at 0.6518, A2 at 0.6371, and A4 at 0.4333. A3 is the main recommendation because it has the highest weighted closeness to the ideal profile. The sensitivity analysis reported in the source manuscript indicates that A3 remains in first place when the distinguishing coefficient changes, suggesting that the primary recommendation is stable. The study contributes an integrated decision model that combines academic, technical, interpersonal, and pedagogical dimensions and a web-based system design that supports decision traceability. A complete numerical audit still requires the raw decision matrix and system calculation logs.
