Abstract

High-performance academic information systems and high availability services are requirement in every university. One of many reasons is for anticipation damage and fail server disrupting server network performance. Failover computer cluster method is applied to two servers: primary server as main server and secondary server as backup server. Four stages will be carried out: First: Installation and support software configuration. Second: installation and failover cluster configuration. Third: installation and Distributed Replicated Block Devices (DRBD) configuration. Forth: server testing with siege and nettool.This research conducted by doing server test before and after high availability. As if the main server has a system failure, it will automatically backup the main server to backup server to minimize user accessed data failures. System uses Ubuntu 16.04 LTS operating system. Based on the test data, it is acquired two data: packet data and data response time (ms). Data packets acquired from this research are: 233.3 average data sent; 228.3 average data received; 2.3 average data lost; while 59.7 average response time (ms) is showed; 2.7 minimum average; 633.8 maximum average. Data sent is 120B per data.

Abstract

In recent years, several countries have developed and implemented disease surveillance systems. These systems, eventhough having relatively similar functions, are adopting different approaches. Based on a preliminary study, an effective strategy for developing a disease surveillance system was proposed. This paper proposes a reference architecture for building a disease surveillance system based on the medical and technological perspective in the context of resource-limited environment.

Abstract

Hijaiyah letters are letters used in the writing of the Holy Qur'an. In learning hijaiyah letters, many children still have difficulties so alternative learning methods are needed to make children more interested in recognizing hijaiyah letters. Interactive hijaiyah learning using electronic media is also still rare. Of the several hijaiyah letter recognition applications which are available, it is also limited in the use of certain operating systems. This research uses the waterfall method. The technology used to build web-based games in this study is HTML5 because HTML5 has the advantage of the flexibility to run on various platforms through a browser. In addition, this application does not require an installation process like other applications, but simply by accessing the web page, the application can be used. The results of this study are Hijaiyah Match games that can be run on various operating systems through a browser. The test results show that this application can help children learn hijaiyah letters.

Abstract

Perkembangan dan modern dan global khususnya dalam dunia teknologi informasi tentang masuk dalam berbagai badang kehidupan sosial manusia, danradang dunia pendidikan nonformal untuk membangunun kemudahan akses informasi secara digital. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk membuat model aplikasi forum alumni dengan menggunakan penerapan paradigma sosio-religio teknis yang dilakukan di pondok pesantren Alazhar Kota Banjar Jawa Barat. Dalam model forum aplikasi alumni singkat dan aman untuk melihat lebih banyak, diskusi forum, data alumni dan peduli donasi. Metodelogi yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini menggunakan metode Proses Terpadu Rasional Yang akan terbagi menjadi empat lutkah tahapan yaitu awal, elaborasi, konstruksi dan transisi Yang dan dikombinasik menggunakan gaya pemodelan Bahasa Pemodelan Terpadu serta menggunakan metode pengujian pengujian kotak hitam. Hasil dan kontribusi manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu model perciptanya perancangan forum aplikasi alumni berbasis web dengan basis penerapan paradigma sosio-religio teknis. Adapun kontribusi dari penelitian ini yaitu model perancangan aplikasi ini dapat membantu alumni pondok pesantren dalam memperkuat jaringan komunitas santri dan anggota manyikan manfaat yang lebih las untuk masyarakat khususnya Huda Alazhar Kota Banjar Jawa Barat.

Abstract

Dosen pada perguruan tinggi, di setiap semesternya juga diwajibkan untuk membuat pelaporan kegiatan yang telah dilaksakan di semester sebelumnya dan juga menbuat rencana kegiatan untuk semester yang akan datang. Tujuan penelitian ini memberikan solusi melalui aplikasi BKD Online kepada dosen dalam peng-input-an pelaporan kegiatan Beban Kinerja Dosen per-semester menjadi lebih mudah dan transparan dalam penilaian asesor dan menyimpan seluruh berkas dokumen di dalam satu wadah bersama. Metode yang digunakan dalam rancang bangun menggunakan metode social translucence (keterbukaan) dimana feedback dari asesor sebagai penilai bisa langsung diketahui oleh dosen dan metode collaborative storage (wadah bersama). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi BKD Online yang dapat langsung digunakan oleh para dosen dalm peng-input-an data laporan kinerja, dimana pada aplikasi ini, baik dosen sebagai pelapor dan asesor sebagai penilai dapat langsung berinteraksi melalui fitur message pada setiap laporan yang dilaporkan dosen. Fitur upload yang dimasukkan juga menggunakan metode wadah bersama agar seluruh dokumen terkumpul dalam satu wadah yang dapat d akses langsung oleh kopertais.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan internet telah mengubah cara konsumen melakukan transaksi pembelian. E-commerce menjadi salah satu platform utama yang memudahkan konsumen untuk mencari dan membeli berbagai produk secara online. Dalam lingkungan e-commerce, konsumen sering dihadapkan pada berbagai faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan pembelian mereka. Harga jual dan social proof merupakan dua elemen krusial dalam ekosistem e-commerce yang secara signifikan memengaruhi preferensi dan keputusan konsumen. Harga jual sebagai faktor ekonomis utama seringkali menjadi pertimbangan utama konsumen dalam memilih produk yang akan dibeli. Di sisi lain, social proof, yang mencakup ulasan pelanggan, testimoni, dan rating produk, memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk persepsi konsumen terhadap kredibilitas dan kualitas suatu produk. Bagaimana harga jual dan social proof saling berinteraksi dan berdampak pada keputusan pembelian konsumen menjadi semakin penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh harga jual dan social proof terhadap keputusan pembelian barang pada website e-commerce. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada responden yang telah ditetapkan yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan kepada 40 responden yang merupakan pengguna informasi digital sebuah aplikasi website E-Commerce Shoope. Kemudian dilakukan analisis data dengan beberapa pengujian seperti uji validitas, uji reabilitas, uji normalitas, uji regresi linier berganda dan uji hipotesis. Hasilnya Social proof dan harga jual berpengaruh pada keputusan pembelian pelanggan berikutnya. Social proof meningkatkan keputusan pembelian sebesar 0,149, sedangkan harga meningkatkan sebesar 0,486. Pengaruh Social Proof dan Harga jual memiliki korelasi kuat sebesar 67,2%. Terdapat pengaruh bersama-sama antara Social Proof dan Harga terhadap keputusan pembelian, dan pengaruh harga jual lebih berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan minat belanja online. Sebesar 97,5% responden memilih belanja online di E-Commerce karena harga lebih murah. Harga yang ditawarkan harus sesuai dengan produk yang diperoleh untuk meningkatkan minat pengguna E-Commerce.

Abstract

The design of adding a single sign on feature to one-door login authentication is a system design that allows library users to do the authentication process once to access various library applications such as OPAC, circulation, and visits. This design aims to improve user convenience, efficiency, security, integration, and identity management in the context of application use at XYZ Library. In the design of adding single sign on feature to this one-stop login authentication, library users will start the login process by entering their authentication credentials into the authentication system. The authentication system will verify the credentials and provide a secure authentication token to the user. This token will be used to access library applications linked to the authentication system without the need to log in repeatedly. The main advantage of the design of adding single sign on feature to this one-stop login authentication is the convenience for users as they only need to authenticate once to access various library applications. This increases user efficiency and productivity, reduces the risk of leakage or misuse of user credentials, eases integration with existing library applications, and enables centralized identity management. In conclusion, the design of adding single sign on feature to the one-stop login authentication at XYZ Library provides significant benefits in terms of user convenience, efficiency, security, integration, and identity management. It enhances the library's user experience and facilitates access to available services and resources.Keywords: Authentication, Design, features, Single sign on

Abstract

The development of software must consider usability as one of its key success indicators. Relatively few studies discuss the factors influencing usability, including users' backgrounds. The purpose of this research was to investigate the impact of user background, specifically gender, class (year of college admission), and frequency of use on the rating of usability.  This research utilized a descriptive quantitative method with instruments: the usability matrix of the Computer System Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ), the System Usability Scale (SUS), the Usability Metric for User Experience (UMUX), and the Net Promoter Score (NPS). The research object was the Learning Management System (LMS) of two state universities in Yogyakarta. Two sets of questionnaire responses were obtained: 305 men and 442 women answered the first time, and 280 men and 584 women answered the second time. Our result shows that the mean value of usability level from CSUQ, SUS, UMUX, and NPS is mostly higher in female than male respondents, in junior to more senior students, and in respondents who use the system more frequently than those who use it less.  This trend was consistent, even though the sequence of questionnaire choice order was reversed between the first and second data collection at the two universities. This research hence concluded that, based on gender, women tend to offer a higher rating of usability than men; based on class, the younger generation tends to provide higher ratings of usability than the older generation, and users who use the system more frequently tend to give higher usability rating than those who less use it.

Abstract

Software defect prediction is a practical approach to improving the quality and efficiency of software testing processes. However, establishing robust and trustworthy models for software defect prediction is quite challenging due to the limitation of historical datasets that most developers are capable of collecting. The inherently imbalanced nature of most software defect datasets also posed another problem. Therefore, an insight into how to properly construct software defect prediction models on a small, yet imbalanced, dataset is required. The objective of this study is therefore to provide the required insight by way of investigating and comparing a number of resampling techniques, classification algorithms, and evaluation measurements (metrics) for building software defect prediction models on CM1 NASA PROMISE data as the representation of a small yet unbalanced dataset. This study is comparative descriptive research. It follows a positivist (quantitative) approach. Data were collected through observation towards experiments on four categories of resampling techniques (oversampling, under sampling, ensemble, and combine) combined with three categories of machine learning classification algorithms (traditional, ensemble, and neural network) to predict defective software modules on CM1 NASA PROMISE dataset. Training processes were carried out twice, each of which used the 5-fold cross-validation and the 70% training and 30% testing data splitting (holdout) method. Our result shows that the combined and oversampling techniques provide a positive effect on the performance of the models. In the context of classification models, ensemble-based algorithms, which extend the decision tree classification mechanism such as Random Forest and eXtreme Gradient Boosting, achieved sufficiently good performance for predicting defective software modules. Regarding the evaluation measurements, the combined and rank-based performance metrics yielded modest variance values, which is deemed suitable for evaluating the performance of the models in this context.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi, komunikasi, dan globalisasi telah merambah berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan formal dan nonformal. Namun, beberapa masalah masih dihadapi, seperti siswa bolos sebelum pelajaran selesai, penyimpangan akhlak, serta keterbatasan komunikasi antara orang tua dan guru yang menghambat pemantauan akademik dan kehadiran siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem pemantauan akademik di SMK Ma'arif NU 1 Ajibarang dengan menerapkan paradigma sosio-religio teknis melalui pendekatan Al-Quawa’id Al-Fiqhiyah dan Maqasid Syariah. Sistem ini mencakup fitur berita sekolah, pemantauan nilai, presensi, akhlak, dan data siswa. Metode Rational Unified Process (RUP) dan Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) digunakan, dengan tahapan inception, elaboration, construction, dan transition. Alat bantu perancangan yang digunakan termasuk Unified Modelling Language (UML) dan blackbox testing. Hasil akhir diharapkan berupa model sistem pemantauan akademik berbasis web dan mobile yang dapat diakses melalui smartphone maupun PC, mengadopsi pendekatan sosio-religio teknis. Tujuan utamanya adalah memudahkan orang tua dan guru dalam memantau perkembangan siswa melalui nilai, absensi, dan akhlak, dengan menekankan penerapan nilai-nilai Islam seperti ukhuwah insaniyah.
