Abstract

This study is intended to help craftsmen as well as small micro-scale shoe producers to comprehend the external and internal conditions of their business, the strengths and weaknesses of the business unit, and opportunities and threats to the business unit. As part of that, it provides alternative strategy options to be recommended to the small company holders to assist them to overcome their problems. Thus, the businesses owned by MSMEs who are members of joint business groups in Sukaresmi Village, Tamansari District, Bogor can survive and maintain their sustainability amid increasingly fierce-forcing competition among shoe entrepreneurs. The data analysis method used to evaluate the appropriate competitive strategy are using three stages coaxial of analysis. First, using the IFE and EFE matrix; Second, using IE and SWOT analysis and third using QPSM analysis. To sum up, it is concluded that the KUBE- Junashoe joint business group, at Sukasari Village, Tamansari District, Bogor, should  be able to upscale their firm, by increasing promotion and product quality and upskilling the employee. Additionally, develop product and sales innovation, implement branding strategies and other strategies increasing support sales profitability.

Abstract

Indonesia, sebagai negara dengan populasi Muslim terbesar di dunia, menghadapi tantangan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hewan kurban yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Dompet Kurban Terintegrasi Peternakan Modern berbasis teknologi AI-IoT dengan algoritma YOLO, guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan mempermudah pengelolaan kurban. Metode penelitian melibatkan tahapan pengumpulan data, analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, simulasi, implementasi, dan evaluasi performa. Sistem yang dikembangkan menyediakan fitur pelacakan hewan secara real-time, estimasi berat hewan menggunakan teknologi citra, dan integrasi pembayaran digital. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa waktu pengukuran berat sapi dapat dipangkas dari 60 detik menjadi rata-rata 2,1 detik dengan akurasi yang hampir setara metode tradisional. Selain itu, penerapan IoT berhasil menurunkan biaya operasional peternakan hingga 30%. Kesimpulannya, teknologi AI-IoT menawarkan solusi inovatif untuk mendukung efisiensi peternakan sekaligus mempermudah masyarakat dalam menabung dan melaksanakan kurban secara transparan dan efisien

Abstract

All of information that manipulated by a computer is represented in the form of bits, so in the programming language it is necessary to understand bitwise operations at the first. This paper aims to create a concept of making Conditional Statements with Bitwise operators in C ++. By doing so, we hope that people is easy to understand  the operation behind conditional statements. A conditional operator is also known as a ternary operator. It takes three operands. A conditional operator is closely related with if else statement. The method used is a literature study studying the bit manipulation algorithm in the C ++ language. The results obtained are a function using bitwise operations in C ++ that implement conditional statements.

Abstract

In the programming world, understanding floating point is not easy, especially if there are floating point and bit-level interactions. Although there are currently many libraries to simplify the computation process, still many programmers today who do not really understand how the floating point manipulation process. Therefore, this paper aims to provide insight into how to manipulate IEEE-754 32-bit floating point with different representation of results, which are integers and code rules of float twice.  The method used is a literature review, adopting a float-twice prototype using C programming. The results of this study are applications that can be used to represent integers of floating-point manipulation by adopting a float-twice prototype. Using the application programmers make it easy for programmers to determine the type of program data to be developed, especially those running on 32 bits floating point (Single Precision).

Abstract

Penggunaan aplikasi web berkembang pesat, terutama di Android yang menguasai 46,18% pangsa pasar global. Pengguna menginginkan akses cepat, namun sering menghadapi koneksi lambat dan pemuatan ulang aset tanpa cache, yang dapat meningkatkan konsumsi baterai. Salah satu faktor yang diduga berpengaruh adalah penggunaan cache dalam aplikasi. Progressive Web Apps (PWA) menjadi relevan karena memanfaatkan service worker untuk menyimpan cache. PWA menawarkan keunggulan seperti akses tanpa koneksi, pemrosesan latar belakang, dan notifikasi push, memberikan pengalaman serupa aplikasi native. Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak cache PWA terhadap konsumsi baterai Android. Metode yang digunakan bersifat kuantitatif dengan eksperimen empiris. Sebanyak 33 situs PWA dipilih menggunakan Google Lighthouse. Data ukuran cache dikumpulkan, dan laporan bug dihasilkan selama 3 menit untuk mengukur konsumsi daya. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test dengan SPSS, membandingkan konsumsi baterai saat cache kosong dan terisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan wawasan mengenai pengaruh cache terhadap konsumsi daya, sehingga strategi dapat dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi energi dan pengalaman pengguna.

Abstract

The rapid growth of user-generated reviews on platforms like Spotify necessitates efficient analytical techniques to extract valuable insights.  This study employs a Support Vector Machine algorithm, optimized using Forward Selection, Backwards Elimination, Optimized Selection, Bagging, and AdaBoost, to effectively classify user reviews. A dataset of approximately 10,000 Spotify reviews was compiled from diverse online sources, ensuring a representative sample. The analysis reveals sentiment patterns across positive, negative, and neutral categories, with positive reviews dominates the landscape. These patterns help highlight Spotify’s strengths while identifying areas for improvement. However, the SVM algorithm faces challenges in classifying minority classes, particularly negative sentiments, due to class imbalance. To address this, advanced optimization techniques are utilized to enhance classification precision and recall. Preprocessing steps, including data cleansing, tokenization, stemming, and stopword removal, refine the dataset, while TF-IDF converts text into numerical features for effective feature selection. The results show that the Optimized Selection method achieves the highest accuracy of 84.5%, outperforming other approaches. This research contributes significantly to developing balanced sentiment analysis models. Future studies may explore deep learning techniques to further improve classification accuracy and mitigate current limitations in data representation.

Abstract

The rapid development of the digital era demands that the younger generation possess strong digital literacy skills. Digital literacy is not merely the ability to operate digital devices but also involves understanding ethics, security, and the capacity to critically evaluate information. This community service activity aimed to empower high school students in understanding and applying digital literacy through a workshop organized by the Department of Archives and Library (Disarpus) of Karanganyar Regency, in collaboration with lecturers from the Informatics Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Karanganyar (UMUKA). The workshop was designed using a participatory approach and covered four pillars of digital literacy: hardware, software, digital ethics, and cybersecurity. Key topics included the dangers of cyberbullying, hoaxes, phishing, and best practices for protecting personal data, including the introduction of two-factor authentication (2FA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) technology. The activities included simulations, quizzes, and interactive discussions to enhance student engagement. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding and awareness of the importance of being wise and safe in digital spaces. This program serves as an effective collaborative model between government institutions and higher education in enhancing students’ digital competencies. It is expected that similar initiatives can be replicated in other regions as a contribution to strengthening national digital literacy resilience.

Abstract

Progresive Web Apps merupakan teknologi mutakhir di pengembangan web. Kehadiran Progresive Web Apps memberikan dampak positif bagi pengembang Web, yang mana keunggulannya memberikan peningkatan performa secara signifikan. Service Worker sebagai inti memiliki kemampuan mencegat dan menangani permintaan jaringan, termasuk mengelola cache respons lewat program. Semua kemampuan Service worker disimpan ke dalam cache. Keunggulan tersebut tentunya mempunyai implikasi pada performance. Disisi lain konsumsi energi perangkat lunak yang berjalan di atasnya, juga merupakan tantangan seorang pengembang aplikasi khususnya Web.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan investigasi hubungan Cache terhadap Runtime Performance dan Energy Consumption. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melakukan kajian eksperimen empiris, yang mana menilai 16 Situs yang telah mengadopsi Progresive Web Apps. Perancangan eksperimen ini memiliki variabel Cache, Energy Consumption dan Runtime Performance dengan perilaku pengumpulan data ketika Cache kosong dan Cache terisi yang selanjutnya akan di analisis dengan analisis Pearson Correlation. Pelaksanaan eksperimen dijalankan di Chrome Browser perangkat android secara langsung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara Cache dan Energy Consumption dengan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,005 pada Cache kosong dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,015 pada saat Cache terisi. Selain itu, juga ada hubungan antara Runtime Performance dan Energy Consumption dengan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,008 pada Cache kosong dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,003 pada saat Cache terisi. Sedangkan pada variabel Cache dan Runtime Performance menunjukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antar variabel, dengan nilai signifikansi lebih besar dari 0,05 yaitu 0,08 pada Cache kosong dan 0,098 pada saat Cache terisi. AbstractProgressive Web Apps are the latest technology in web development. The presence of Progressive Web Apps has a positive impact on Web developers, whose advantages provide a significant increase in performance. Service Workers at the core have the ability to intercept and handle network requests, including managing programmatic response caches. All Service worker capabilities are cached. These advantages of course have implications for performance. On the other hand, the energy consumption of the software running on it is also a challenge for an application developer, especially the Web. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between Cache and Runtime Performance and Energy Consumption. The research method uses a quantitative approach by conducting an empirical experimental study, which assesses 16 sites that have adopted Progressive Web Apps. This experimental design has Cache, Energy Consumption and Runtime Performance variables with data collection behavior when the cache is empty and the cache is filled which will then be analyzed with Pearson Correlation analysis. The experiment execution is run in the Chrome Browser of the android device directly. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between Cache and Energy Consumption with a significance value of 0,005 in an empty cache and a significance value of 0,015 when the cache is filled. In addition, there is also a relationship between Runtime Performance and Energy Consumption with a significance value of 0,008 when the cache is empty and a significance value of 0,003 when the cache is filled. While the Cache and Runtime Performance variables show that there is no relationship between variables, with a significance value greater than 0,05, namely 0,08 when the cache is empty and 0,098 when the cache is filled.

Abstract

The Short Message Service (SMS) has garnered widespread popularity due to its simplicity, reliability, and ubiquitous accessibility.This study aims to enhance the efficacy of SMS classification by refining the classification process itself. Specifically, it strives to streamline the process by diminishing feature dimensions and eliminating inconsequential attributes. The textual data undergoes preprocessing, which involves employing the N-Gram technique for feature representation, followed by meticulous feature selection utilizing Pearson Correlation. The study employs 5 of classification algorithms. Notably, the findings underscore that the optimal outcomes emerge from the fusion of the N-Gram methodology with feature selection through Pearson Correlation. Among these, the Support Vector Machine methodology stands out, exhibiting a remarkable 91.41% enhancement in accuracy without feature selection, a further improvement to 91.96% through N-Gram utilization, and a final performance of 70.80% following the inclusion of weighted correlation. However, it is imperative to acknowledge the limitations inherent in the model's generalizability, primarily stemming from the utilization of a relatively modest dataset. Despite the efficacy of Pearson correlation and N-gram-based feature selection in curbing data dimensionality and enhancing processing efficiency, certain pertinent features may have been overlooked, or the chosen attributes might not be optimally suited for specific classifications.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find an effective empowerment model to alleviate traders from usury practices. A qualitative approach was employed through interviews, direct observations, social media observations, and literature studies. Traditional market locations were selected based on having more than 150 traders, and five markets were chosen: Bejen, Jungke, Nglano, Jaten, and Palur. The research results showed that usury practices burdened the traders significantly, but they had limited options for quick access to capital without complicated requirements. The presence of the Infaq Bank in eradicating usury practices has been beneficial to many business actors in Indonesia. In the Karanganyar region, the Infaq Bank named Bank Infaq Islamic Karanganyar has been operational for over 2 years. Seven study groups were formed for the empowerment of traders, with a total of 178 beneficiaries absorbing funds amounting to Rp. 278,000,000. The empowerment model for small traders in traditional markets through collaboration with the innovative Portal Iman received positive responses in five traditional markets, as evidenced by the willingness of worshippers, who are traders, to become permanent members of the Portal Iman study groups. This empowerment model involves four key roles: benefactors, motivators, managers, and beneficiaries of the Portal Iman. In conclusion, this empowerment model is acceptable for application among members of the Islamic Infaq Bank Karanganyar and the traditional market trader community in Karanganyar.
