Abstract

Purpose. This article aims to design a security system for library circulation services based on facial recognition, focusing specifically on collection lending services. The proposed system seeks to usher libraries into a new era where efficiency and security are prioritized, while also serving as an example of innovation in modern library circulation security systems.Methodology. The system design follows an object-oriented approach, employing the UML language with activity diagrams and use case diagrams to model the processes.Results and discussion. The proposed system includes a use case diagram that outlines system activities and the relationships between actors and the system, as well as an activity diagram that details the structured flow of the book borrowing process, integrating facial recognition technology.Conclusions. Facial recognition is proposed as a means to enhance the security of library book borrowing processes by providing automatic, dual-layer identity verification. By implementing facial recognition in the circulation service security system, libraries are expected to prevent unauthorized access and misuse while improving service efficiency.

Abstract

Research area in natural language processing (NLP) domain has made major advances in recent years. The Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) and its derivative models have been at the vanguard, gaining notice for their exceptional performance across a variety of NLP applications. As a response to this context, hence, this study aims to conduct a systematic literature review on current research in BERT-based models in order to describe their characteristic variations on three frequently demanded natural language processing (NLP) tasks, i.e. text classification, question answering, and text summarization. This study employed a systematic literature review method as prescribed by Kitchenham. We collected 4,120 papers from publications indexed by Scopus and Google Scholar from which 42 complied to our defined review criteria and finally chosen for further analysis. Our review came up with three conclusions. First, in order to select appropriate models for particular NLP tasks, three primary concerns should be considered: i) the type of NLP problem to be resolved (i.e. NLP task to be served), ii) the specific domain to be handled (such as financial, medical, law/legal or others), and iii) the intended language to be applied (such as English or others). Second, learning rate, batch size, and the type of optimizer were the three most considered hyperparameters to be properly arranged in model training. Third, the most widely used metrics for text classification tasks were F1-score, accuracy, precision, and sensitivity (recall), while question answering, and text summarization tasks were mostly used the Exact Match and ROUGE respectively.

Abstract

Semakin banyaknya brand mobil yang ada di Indonesia membuat perusahaan mobil melakukan inovasi terhadap produknya untuk menarik minat pembeli. Salah satu inovasi yang ditawarkan adalah warna mobil, hal ini karena warna mobil sebagai inovasi paling murah dan berpengaruh terhadap minat beli. Sebelum menentukan warna yang akan diproduksi, perusahaan perlu melakukan analisa pasar terhadap pola pemilihan warna terhadap minat beli. Hal ini bertujuan untuk menentukan jumlah varian warna dan juga model mobil yang akan diproduksi, agar tidak terjadi kerugian akibat mobil kurang diminati dengan alasan model dan warna tidak sesuai dengan keinginan sebagian besar pembeli. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini dilakukan studi komperatif untuk pemilihan mobil berdasarkan warna menggunakan Algoritma Decision Tree dan K-NN (K-Nearest Neighbors), dengan tujuan memberikan gambaran pola keinginan pembeli berdasarkan variabel yang sudah ditentukan yaitu Status (perkawinan), Model dan Umur. Pendekatan ini memberikan sudut pandang baru dalam memahami preferensi pasar otomotif melalui data mining. Pengujian ini menggunakan bantuan software Rapidminner dan menggunakan Algoritma Decision Tree dan K-NN (K-Nearest Neighbors). Hasil yang didapatkan menggunakan split data dengan nilai proporsi 80% sebagai data pelatihan dan 20% data uji, didapatkan hasil uji performance dengan nilai accuracy sebesar 70,31% untuk Algoritma Decision Tree dan 78,12% untuk Algoritma K-NN (K-Nearest Neighbors). Sehingga pola pemilihan warna menggunakan Algoritma K-NN (K-Nearest Neighbors) dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan perusahaan atau dealer mobil untuk mengukur kuantitas produksi berdasarkan warna dan mengukur stok persediaan mobil di dealer, sehingga mengurangi biaya penyimpanan.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang semakin berkembang, tata kelola teknologi informasi (TI) memiliki peran krusial dalam mendukung efektivitas operasional dan strategis suatu organisasi, termasuk lembaga pendidikan Islam seperti pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kematangan keamanan teknologi informasi di 21 pondok pesantren di Kabupaten Situbondo dengan menggunakan Indeks KAMI versi 5.0 yang berbasis pada standar SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner serta verifikasi kuesioner yang mencakup tujuh area utama indeks keamanan informasi (KAMI) dan satu area suplemen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pondok pesantren berada pada tingkat kematangan I dan I+, yang menandakan bahwa pengelolaan keamanan teknologi informasi masih dilakukan secara informal dan belum terdokumentasi dengan baik. Beberapa aspek penting, seperti manajemen risiko, perlindungan data pribadi, serta pengelolaan aset informasi, belum diimplementasikan secara optimal. Selain itu, keterlibatan pihak ketiga dalam mendukung pengelolaan sistem informasi masih sangat terbatas. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kesiapan keamanan teknologi informasi di pondok pesantren Kabupaten Situbondo masih rendah sehingga diperlukan intervensi strategis melalui kebijakan, peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, serta kerja sama eksternal untuk mencapai minimal tingkat kematangan Level III+. Kata kunci: Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi, Indeks KAMI, Pondok Pesantren, SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2022 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Evaluation of Information Technology Security Level Using the KAMI Index at Islamic Boarding Schools in Situbondo Regency In the rapidly evolving digital era, information technology (IT) governance plays a crucial role in supporting both operational and strategic effectiveness within organizations, including Islamic educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren). This study aims to evaluate the maturity level of information technology security in 21 Islamic boarding schools in Situbondo Regency using the KAMI Index version 5.0, which is based on the SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard. A qualitative research method was employed, with data collected through questionnaires and their verification, covering seven main areas of the KAMI information security index and one supplementary area. The findings reveal that most Islamic boarding schools are at maturity levels I and I+, indicating that information technology security management is still carried out informally and has not been properly documented. Key aspects such as risk management, personal data protection, and information asset management have not yet been optimally implemented. Furthermore, third-party involvement in supporting information system management remains very limited. Therefore, it can be concluded that the readiness level of information technology security in Situbondo’s Islamic boarding schools is still low, requiring strategic interventions through policy development, capacity building of human resources, and external collaboration to achieve at least maturity level III+.
