Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi dimensi Berkebinekaan Global dalam membangun karakter toleransi beragama pada peserta didik di SDN 3 Tugumulyo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi dimensi Berkebinekaan Global dilaksanakan melalui tiga strategi utama: (1) pengenalan budaya lintas agama dalam kegiatan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5); (2) dialog interkultural sebagai sarana menumbuhkan rasa saling menghargai; dan (3) pembiasaan sikap toleran tanpa mengorbankan identitas keagamaan masing-masing siswa. Integrasi dimensi ini terbukti efektif membangun sikap inklusif dan meminimalkan potensi intoleransi di lingkungan sekolah. Tantangan yang diidentifikasi meliputi keterbatasan waktu P5, belum meratanya pemahaman guru, dan pengaruh negatif media sosial. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keteladanan guru dan desain pembelajaran kolaboratif lintas agama merupakan kunci pembentukan karakter toleransi yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pendekatan deep learning dalam pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi pada siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Riding. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian 1 guru kelas IV dan 24 siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan deep learning memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan narasi siswa. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan melalui peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dari 64,8 sebelum penerapan menjadi 82,0 setelah penerapan pendekatan deep learning. Selain itu, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 37,5% menjadi 87,5%. Pendekatan deep learning membantu siswa memahami struktur narasi secara lebih mendalam melalui tahapan stimulasi, eksplorasi, konstruksi pengetahuan, dan refleksi. Dengan demikian, pendekatan deep learning dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study investigates the challenges and strategies for preserving and passing down local dialects in South Sumatra, focusing on language ecology. Findings from interviews, field observations, and local document analysis reveal a significant decline in dialect usage, largely confined to informal family interactions, while Bahasa Indonesia and English dominate educational and professional contexts. Social and linguistic changes, influenced by urbanization and migration, further marginalize dialects. The study identifies several strategies for preserving dialects, including incorporating dialects into English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teaching, dialect digitization, media development, and community involvement. EFL teachers can use local dialects to teach English, integrating cultural elements such as folk tales to enhance students' language skills and promote linguistic diversity. Despite the challenges posed by globalization, these localized approaches can help maintain dialects in South Sumatra. The research provides valuable insights into the preservation of dialects in the region and offers practical implications for EFL education to support linguistic and cultural heritage.

Abstract

Writing essays is one of the writing skills taught to grade IV students at SD Negeri 26 Talang Kelapa. However, many spelling mistakes were still found in students' writings. For this reason, the problem in this study was the spelling mistakes found in students' essays in the Indonesian subject at grade IV of elementary schools. The purpose of this study was to describe the spelling mistakes found in students' essays in the Indonesian subject at grade IV of elementary school. The object of this study was the spelling mistakes found in the students' essays. The informants in this study were students and teachers of class IV SD Negeri 26 Talang Kelapa Kabupaten Banyuasin. This research utilized a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through documentation and interviews. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicated that the mistakes were in using capital letters, full stops, commas, and pronouns. This occurred because students did not understand the correct spelling in writing. The students had difficulties in writing essays since they paid less attention to the teacher's explanations in Indonesian subjects. Thus, teachers needed to improve students' understanding of the use of spelling.
