Abstract

The aim of the research was to improve social behavior in Group A TK DWP PutraHarapan Bojonegoro. The research used in this study is action research (Action Research). Thisstudy uses a model of Kemmis and Taggart were conducted over 12 meetings. The steps of theaction research method Kemmis & Taggart models that include (1) planning (planning), (2) action(action), (3) observation (observation), and (4) reflection (reflection). Before conducting theresearch, pre-action research conducted to determine the percentage of the initial results of thesocial behavior of children. So that it can be seen how the increase that occurred between beforeaction is taken by either the action after the first cycle and second cycle. Social behavior mayincrease after the action of traditional game play activities through Java. It can be seen from theresults of research that says that the average grade in the pre-action amounted to 41.3%. After theaction in the first cycle increased the average grade of 83.01% and became the second cycleincreased to 99.7%. Keywords: Social Behavior, Javanese Traditional Games, Action Research. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan perilaku sosial anak Kelompok A TK DWP PutraHarapan Bojonegoro. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan (Action Research).Penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart yang dilakukan selama 12 kalipertemuan. Adapun langkah-langkah metode penelitian tindakan dengan model Kemmis danTaggart yaitu meliputi (1) perencanaan (planning), (2) tindakan (action), (3) pengamatan(observation), dan (4) refleksi (reflection). Sebelum melakukan penelitian, diadakan penelitian pratindakan untuk mengetahui hasil prosentase awal perilaku sosial anak. Sehingga dapat diketahuiseberapa peningkatan yang terjadi antara sebelum dilakukan tindakan dengan setelah dilakukantindakan baik dalam siklus I maupun siklus II. Perilaku sosial anak dapat meningkat setelahdilakukan tindakan melalui kegiatan bermain permainan tradisional jawa. Hal ini dapat dilihat darihasil penelitian yang menyebutkan bahwa rerata kelas pada pra tindakan sebesar 41,3%. Setelahdilakukan tindakan dalam siklus I meningkat rerata kelas menjadi sebesar 83,01% dan pada siklusII meningkat menjadi 99,7%. Kata kunci: Perilaku Sosial, Permainan Tradisional Jawa, Penelitian Tindakan.

Abstract

Abstrac: During the pandemic caused by Covid-19 which occurred in Indonesia had a major impact on various sectors, one of which was the tertiary education sector. UT in Malang felt the impact of learning carried out with E-Learning. The research subjects were the 4th and 6th semester students of PG-PAUD Universitas Terbuka, as many as 100 students participated. Descriptive qualitative research methods, survey data collection and interviews with the results of the description of the results stating that PGPAUD  UT students were not ready to do full E-Learning during the covid-19 pandemic. However, learning must be carried out and effective learning methods are needed to maximize the delivery of material.

Abstract

The quality of educational institutions is often measured by the competencies of their graduates, especially in teacher education programs. This study aims to evaluate the quality of graduates from the Early Childhood Education (PG-PAUD) program at Universitas Terbuka by assessing the satisfaction of school principals who supervise these alumni. The research addresses the challenge of ensuring that teacher education programs produce graduates equipped with the necessary competencies to meet the demands of early childhood education. Employing a qualitative tracer study approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with ten school principals selected purposively based on their direct experience overseeing PG-PAUD UT alumni. The findings reveal that principals generally express satisfaction with the graduates’ performance, highlighting strengths such as high motivation, adaptability, effective communication, and teamwork skills. However, a notable weakness lies in graduates’ ability to utilize assessment data for planning child development, which principals attribute to a broader issue among early childhood educators. These results provide valuable insights for the PG-PAUD program, suggesting the need to enhance curriculum and training focused on assessment literacy and practical application, thereby better preparing future graduates for their professional roles.

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) berperan penting dalam membentuk dasar perkembangan anak, menuntut tenaga pendidik yang kompeten dalam kompetensi pedagogik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepuasan pengguna lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Anak Usia Dini (PGPAUD) Universitas Terbuka (UT) di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar terhadap kompetensi pedagogik alumni. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan campuran (mixed methods) dengan kuesioner dan wawancara kepada 20 responden dari lembaga PAUD setempat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pengguna lulusan merasa puas terhadap kemampuan pedagogik alumni, terutama dalam aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Alumni juga dinilai memiliki kemampuan memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pengajaran serta merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan anak. Namun, terdapat catatan mengenai kurangnya pengalaman praktik lapangan dan perlunya pelatihan tambahan dalam membuat laporan penilaian yang lebih sistematis. Dengan pengembangan berkelanjutan, diharapkan lulusan PGPAUD UT dapat memberikan kontribusi yang lebih besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan anak usia dini di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar.

Abstract

Traditional games are increasingly losing place in children’s hearts as information-technology advances. Children prefer modern online-based games that can be accessed at any time via gadgets. Although some online games provide a chat feature that allows communication between users (children), children still cannot make direct contact. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using traditional games in improving children’s social behavior. This study uses an experimental design method. Researchers compared the scores of children’s social behavior before and after participating in traditional Javanese games. The research was conducted at Mojoranu I Kindergarten, Bojonegoro. Data were collected by means of observation using research instruments for 19 days of observation. Then, to analyze the data, the researchers use data triangulation involving the results of observation scores, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the average score of children’s social behavior before playing Javanese traditional games was 20.83 while the average score after playing Javanese traditional games was 39.11. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that traditional Javanese games are effective in improving children’s social behavior. Parents and/or teachers can use traditional games as a tool to improve children's social skills.
