Abstract

Authorized Service Center (ASC) merupakan bagian jenis usaha kerjasama pelayanan teknis berupa jasa yang meliputi pelayanan perbaikan, perawatan, penjualan suku cadang dan pemasangan produk khususnya untuk pemanas air terhadap konsumen. Terdapat penurunan tingkat persentase Out SLA pada tahun 2017 dan tahun 2018, hal ini dikarenakan perubahan kerjasama ASC dari yang semula dikelola oleh distributor tunggal menjadi banyak pihak ASC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bobot kriteria dalam pemilihan ASC. Metode yang digunakan adalah Analytical Hierarcy Process (AHP) memiliki beberapa item kategori yaitu Biaya, Fasilitas, Kinerja, Administrasi dan Pelayanan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melibatkan para expert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan biaya adalah kriteria yang dominan besar dengan nilai 1.880 poin dalam menentukan ASC yang tepat untuk ditunjuk sebagai kerjasama dalam melakukan pelayanan teknis ke para konsumen pemanas air. Biaya yang dimaksud dalam hal ini adalah modal yang berkaitan dengan kesanggupan perihal rutinitas kegiatan operasional ASC seperti, pengadaan alat, tempat, pekerja teknis dan yang terpenting adalah untuk melakukan repeat order suku cadang.

Abstract

Recruitment is the process of selecting a candidate to be part of the organization. The recruitment process in every manufacturing industry mostly starts from making advertisements to the skills training process. The recruitment process that occurs in the Pro Audio (PA) manufacturing industry is a long Lead Time (LT) and Process Time (PT) and the presence of paper waste reaches 191.6 kg per month. The purpose of this study is to reduce the LT of the recruitment process in the PA industry and reduce paper waste to give full attention to environmental sustainability in the manufacturing industry. The method used to overcome the impact on environmental problems caused by the industry is the Integration of Lean Manufacturing (LM) and Green Manufacturing (GM). The results showed that the LT of recruitment decreased from 17.9 days to 16.4 days or there was a decrease in the ratio of 8.37%. Waste paper (application file) can be eliminated from 191.6 kg/month to 0 kg/month. PT decreased from 76.21 hours to 74.20 hours decreased by 2.63%. The results of this study have a positive impact on the PA industry towards green manufacture because it can reduce paper waste that can pollute the environment.

Abstract

Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a tool or planning instrument that is used to provide an overview of customer desires which are then translated into strategic stages to produce products or services whose characteristics are in accordance with customer wishes. The advantage of this method approach is that the level of customer satisfaction can be explained through data, so that improving the quality of services or products and periodic evaluations to correct deficiencies can be carried out in accordance with the customer's assessment. Many studies using the QFD method are carried out by the industry. This literature review aims to analyze the advantages of the QFD method for increasing customer satisfaction in the manufacturing industry. The method used is the Systematic Literature Review. This article involves a study review of 24 articles related to the application of QFD in the manufacturing industry. The study was conducted using the Google Schoolar database. The articles obtained were then summarized, classified, and comprehensively reviewed. This article expands the knowledge and study of the application of QFD in the manufacturing industry. The development of QFD in future research can be carried out in cross-fields that still have links. QFD results can be a tool for making improvements based on the needs or voice of the customer. Improvements made using the QFD method can increase customer satisfaction, increase profits and marketing, improve service quality, and improve product quality.

Abstract

Activity Based Costing (ABC) is an accounting method that identifies and assigns costs to overhead activities and then assigns these costs to products. The purpose of this paper is to provide an assessment of 20 articles on ABC method in the Indonesian region published during the period 2017 to 2020. This ABC model is used to allocate all costs, based on the resources used to carry out product-related activities. and services provided to customers. This paper contains the results of many different aspects. These aspects include industry focus, total distribution focus and publication year focus. This paper is useful for all types of industrial sectors to identify and determine costs for all company activities. This paper also provides benefits for future researchers to add insight and reference for studies related to ABC method.

Abstract

Publikasi merupakan suatu kewajiban bagi seluruh insan akademisi. Melalui publikasi, suatu karya, produk ataupun jasa yang dihasilkan lewat penelitian dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat. Namun, untuk melakukan publikasi tidaklah mudah. Banyak elemen-elemen pendukung untuk menyusun karya ilmiah. Salah satunya penggunaan e-resource pendukung publikasi (manajemen referensi, alat parafrase dan pengecekan plagiarisme). Keterbatasan dalam memanfaatkan e-resource pendukung publikasi akan menyulitkan untuk menerbitkan artikel di jurnal bereputasi. Makalah ini disusun untuk mengungkapkan tantangan pengembangan publikasi ilmiah melalui e-resource pendukungnya. Oleh karena itu, Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman terkait penggunaan e-resource untuk mendukung publikasi karya ilmiah. Kebaruan makalah ini adalah mengintegrasikan pelatihan e-resource pendukung publikasi dalam satu workshop. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui workshop/pelatihan secara hybrid. Peserta terbagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu daring secara zoom dan luring di Ruang Seminar. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah seluruh dosen Fakultas Teknik Universitas Borobudur. Hasil Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini memberikan manfaat kepada seluruh sivitas Fakultas Teknik dalam menyusun karya ilmiah. Peserta telah mampu mengoperasikan mendeley, endnote, zotero, plagiarisme checker dan turnitin. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memberikan strategi baru untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas publikasi para Dosen Fakultas Teknik

Abstract

Sekolah merupakan tempat yang dirancang untuk proses pembelajaran dan pembentukan karakter bagi siswa. Sekolah perlu dievaluasi untuk mendapatkan kualitas pendidikan yang layak. Kondisi aktual, di area Penajam Paser Utara masih terdapat beberapa sekolah yang masih dibawah rata-rata. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sekolah binaan YPA-MDR dan memberikan saran pengembangan untuk program sekolah ke depannya. Metode yang digunakan dimulai dengan pendampingan, assesmen dan pengembangan. Setelah pembinaan suatu program atau kegiatan, evaluasi dilakukan untuk menilai efektivitas serta menggali potensi pengembangan yang ada. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kenaikan level asesmen sebesar 86.67 %, terdapat 13.33 % jumlah sekolah yang levelnya masih tetap (belum terdapat perubahan) dari tahun sebelumnya dan tidak ada sekolah yang mengalami penurunan. Secara menyeluruh pengembangan untuk sekolah adalah perlu pengenalan metodologi PDCA untuk program sekolah yang teratur, perlu standarisasi notulensi rapat yang mengakomodir PICA untuk mengetahui permasalahan dan solusi perbaikan serta perlunya pelatihan penggunaan tools seperti Ms. Office Excel.

Abstract

Heavy Equipment Industry is a company operating in the mining heavy equipment industry. The Quality Control Department continues to strive to maintain and improve the quality of every product produced. During 2022 there were complaints from customers, where there were 7 complaints about hangers detaching from the frame. The hanger is a connecting component between the leaf spring and the chassis which functions as a support for the load. This has a very fatal impact because it is related to safety, unit function and unit productivity. The crack defect caused a repair process by re-welding the part of the hanger where the crack was present. The aim of this research is to reduce the defect rate in Hanger defects. The method used is DMAIC. Primary data and supporting data were collected through field observations to describe actual conditions before repairs. Based on the results of the analysis and improvements that have been carried out, it was found that creating work instructions for the process of attaching hangers to units can help manpower understand the process and work sequence in hanger fabrication. The proposal to add reinforcement check points to the hanger setting check sheet is hoped to be able to maintain the hanger without reinforcement entering the next process and increase supervision of the hanger welding quality.

Abstract

The problem of plastic waste in Indonesia is becoming increasingly urgent every day due to the increase in plastic consumption. The increasing number of plastic bottle caps will have a negative impact on the environment. This problem can be overcome by converting this waste into economically valuable products. One effective solution is recycling, but the current obstacle is the lack of effective tools to optimally crush plastic bottle cap waste. Therefore, it is necessary to design and manufacture a special crusher machine to process plastic bottle cap waste. This study aims to develop a crusher machine specifically designed to process plastic bottle cap waste to support sustainable recycling. . The purpose of this research is to develop innovative technology for crushing plastic bottle cap waste. The method used in this research is the CDIO approach, the research includes stages of problem identification, machine design, prototype fabrication, and performance testing. Several improvements were implemented, including blade geometry modification, addition of a secondary shaft, gear reducer ratio adjustment, and frame redesign for safety enhancement. Test results show that the prototype effectively crushes various types of plastic caps, with improved cutting speed after modifying the gear reducer from 1:30 to 1:20 and adding forked blades. This development supports the recycling industry by providing a more efficient and reliable plastic crushing process. The purpose of this research is to develop innovative technology for crushing plastic bottle cap waste. The method used in this research is the CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) approach, starting from problem identification, design, prototyping, and performance testing. Several innovations were made, such as modifying the shape and thickness of the cutting blade, adding a shaft, changing the gear reducer ratio, and improving the frame design to increase safety and efficiency. The test results showed that the machine can crush various types of plastic, such as bottles and gallon caps, effectively. Changing the gear reducer ratio from 1:30 to 1:20 increased the rotation speed, while modifying the blade to form a branch accelerated the crushing process. This research is important to meet the needs of the industry that continues to grow along with technological advances, so that the process of recycling plastic bottle cap waste can run more efficiently.
