Abstract

Purpose of this research is to know the correlation between the students’ Listening Motivation, Vocabulary Mastery, and Speaking ability. The methodology used is in correlation design by using a quantitative method.  The data collecting technique is giving the questionnaire, test, and interview. The data analyzing technique used the correlation of product moment formula to measure the variables. The research findings indicate that there is a significant correlation between students listening motivation, vocabulary mastery, and speaking ability. It was proved by the value of ryx was greater than r table. The correlation between X1 - Y (ryx1) has a value is 0.98, the correlation between X2 - Y (ryx2) has a value is 0.99, the correlation between X1 - X2 (rx1x2) has a value is 0.97, and the correlation between X1 - X2 - Y (rx1x2y) has a value is 0.99. It means that have very high reliability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; (1) menganalisis dan mendeskriptifkan besarnya pengaruh budaya organisasi di kantor sekretariat daerah kabupaten Bima. (2) Menganalisis dan mendeskriptifkan besarnya pengaruh perilaku organisasi di daerah Kabupaten Bima, (3) Menganalisis dan mendeskriptifkan besarnya pengaruh budaya organisasi dan perilaku organisasi terhadap kinerja ASN di Kantor Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Bima.(4) Menganalisis dan mendeskriptifkan budaya organisasi di sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Bima, (5) Menganalisis dan mendeskriptifkan perilaku organisasi di sekretariat daerah kabupaten Bima,(6) Menganalisis dan mendeskriptifkan kinerja pegawai ASN di kantor sekretariat daerah kabupaten Bima. Sampel sebanyak 75 pegawai ditarik dengan klaster random sampling ditentukan dengan menggunakan tabel Issac dan Michael.Variabel terikat adalah kinerja guru sedangkan variabel bebas adalah Kinerja Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN). Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Model analisis inferensial adalah regresi sederhana dan regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan; (1) Besar pengaruh budaya organisa    si terhadap kinerja ASN Di kantor sekretariat daerah kabupaten Bima kategori cukup tinggi. (2) Besar pengaruh perilaku organisasi terhadap kinerja ASN di kantor sekretariat daerah kabupaten Bima kategori cukup tinggi (3) Besar pengaruh budaya organisasi dan perilaku organisasi terhadap kinerja ASN dikantor sekretariat daerah kabupaten Bima sangat tinggi. (4) Budaya organisasi di sekretariat daerah kabupaten Bima, berada pada kategori cukup tinggi (5) Perilaku organisasi di sekretariat daerah kabupaten Bima, berada pada kategori cukup tinggi. (6) Kinerja pegawai ASN di sekretariat daerah kabupaten Bima, berada pada kategori cukup tinggi.

Abstract

The title of the research is An Analysis of Sentence Structure in the Student Writing. This study is aimed at finding out errors of sentence or to know the factor that caused the students have problem in writing. The population of this study was SMA AL-Ikhwan Kota Bima that is school have 1 (one) class for third class, the number of students of that class is consists of 30 (thirty) students as sampling. The method used in this study was descriptive. The method of collecting data was the students write their experience or their story. The method of analyzing data used in this study was tabulate of errors, classify the errors, and identify the errors. In study found kinds of error such as interference, omission, addition, substitution, and ordering. The conclusion of this study was that there are 14 (fourteen) students get poor, 14 (fourteen) students get satisfaction, and 2 students get excellent, and the accumulation of errors found 4.43 or 41% the average of incorrect sentences and 7 or 58% of correct sentences from average of 11 (eleven) sentences in expository writing skill made by 30 (thirty) students. The suggestion in this study was for the students should be learning more seriously, to overcome the errors the students should do self-correction for their errors or mistake in writing skill, the students have to get more motivation, study hard, and practice always every time or every day, and the students should each other to correct their friends errors in writing skill. For the English teachers should not ignore the teaching of tenses, grammar or sentence structures. Because it is very important to be learnt without grammar or structure it is impossible to writing well, the English teachers should give better chances for their students to find out and to overcome the errors they commit, the English teacher should more emphasize on teaching programs by using the effective methods, and the English teachers should active and control the students lazy to study in English lesson

Abstract

The objective of current study is to analyze the used of derivational suffixes in psychological content of Psych2go youtube channel. Affixes and roots are combined through the derivational process to produce new words. Derivation is thought of as the creation of new words out of already existent ones (Rahayu, 2019). The main morphological element utilized to create new words from pre-existing words is a suffix. The method used in this research is descrptive method and qualitative analysis. The data was taken from Psych2go youtube channel with the video entitled “3 Daily Rituals for Better Mental Health”. The result of this research revealed that there are 9 suffixes used in the content namely suffix –ly, -ful, -ness, -ion, -al, -ance/-ence, -ity, -ish, -able. The researcher makes this recommendation to other researchers who have an interest in analyzing and who wish to have a thorough comprehension of the numerous suffix kinds in YouTube channel content.

Abstract

Research synergy between the tourism village management organization (pokdarwis) oi Tampuro and thematic real work lecture (KKN) students of STIPAR Soromandi Bima campus in developing the tourism potential of Piong Village, District. The synergy of the two parties is an important key in efforts to maximize the local potential owned by Piong Village. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the synergy between pokdarwis Oi Tampuro and KKN students plays a very important role in developing tourism in Piong Village, especially in aspects of human resource development, promotion, and management of local natural and cultural potential.

Abstract

One of the applications of information technology used to this research is Facebook. It is very most famous and there are many students use it. Therefore, Facebook is used as a learning media for English writing skill in the schools. Many teachers found that most the students used Facebook in class. They ignore to study and only focus on Facebook. This research is to find the influence of Facebook on learning English and students’ motivation in writing skill. Therefore, using Facebook as a learning tool for students is investigated with the title "Facebook Usage in Learning English Writing Skill and In Improving Students’ Motivation”. This research is to know the frequency of students’ use of Facebook for English writing skill and to know the influence of Facebook usage in English writing skill and in improving students’ motivation. The participant is students of STIPAR Soromandi Bima, and the sample is two classes of second Semester that consist of 53 students. Methodology used is in correlation design by using quantitative method. The data collecting technique is giving the questionnaire. The data analyzing technique uses a hypothesis test by using the correlation of product moment formula to measure the variables. The finding of this research shows that students often use Facebook for English writing skill. It is proven by the average score is 82.79, and 17 students very often, 19 students often, and 17 students a little often use Facebook for writing skill. While the result of statistical analysis it is found that rxy1 is 0.995 with the average score is 79.39 and rxy2 is 0.994 with the average score is 84.53 and r-table is 0.279. Because the rxy value was greater than r-table, it can be concluded that there are a positive influence of Facebook on English writing skill and students’ motivation.

Abstract

Any improvement effort made without the support of quality teacher performance will not possibly work well to help enhance high-quality education. High teacher performance is influenced by many factors. Theoretically, one important factor is principal managerial competency. However, how this factor influences teacher performance is under-researched, particularly in Bandar Lampung schools. This study aimed at investigating the influence of principal managerial competence on teacher performance in public vocational high schools in Bandar Lampung. This study used a quantitative research design, using a questionnaire of which its validity and reliability were ensured before data collection. The samples of the research were 88 teachers from nine vocational high schools in Bandar Lampung City, Lampung Province, Indonesia. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple regression, with the help of SPSS version 24. Results showed that principal managerial competence positively and significantly influenced teacher performance in public vocational high schools in Bandar Lampung. This study recommends the whole stakeholders to pay more attention and to evaluate the principals’ performance.
