Abstract

The title of the research is An Analysis of Sentence Structure in the Student Writing. This study is aimed at finding out errors of sentence or to know the factor that caused the students have problem in writing. The population of this study was SMA AL-Ikhwan Kota Bima that is school have 1 (one) class for third class, the number of students of that class is consists of 30 (thirty) students as sampling. The method used in this study was descriptive. The method of collecting data was the students write their experience or their story. The method of analyzing data used in this study was tabulate of errors, classify the errors, and identify the errors. In study found kinds of error such as interference, omission, addition, substitution, and ordering. The conclusion of this study was that there are 14 (fourteen) students get poor, 14 (fourteen) students get satisfaction, and 2 students get excellent, and the accumulation of errors found 4.43 or 41% the average of incorrect sentences and 7 or 58% of correct sentences from average of 11 (eleven) sentences in expository writing skill made by 30 (thirty) students. The suggestion in this study was for the students should be learning more seriously, to overcome the errors the students should do self-correction for their errors or mistake in writing skill, the students have to get more motivation, study hard, and practice always every time or every day, and the students should each other to correct their friends errors in writing skill. For the English teachers should not ignore the teaching of tenses, grammar or sentence structures. Because it is very important to be learnt without grammar or structure it is impossible to writing well, the English teachers should give better chances for their students to find out and to overcome the errors they commit, the English teacher should more emphasize on teaching programs by using the effective methods, and the English teachers should active and control the students lazy to study in English lesson

Abstract

Lantan Village Area, North Baukliang District, Central Lombok Regency has very potential for rural tourism to be developed. The village has interesting natural characteristics, unique social and cultural life. This potential must be encouraged and developed in accordance with the socio-cultural characteristics of the community. One of the problems that exist in the Lantan Village Tourism area, North Batukliang District, Central Lombok Region is the lack of marketing of MSME products and tourist sites, even though MSME products and tourist areas are good. Because it is considered less than optimal,  the use of technology can facilitate the dissemination of information on MSME products and tourist areas. For example, the use of travel guide apps that provide historical information, local stories, and activity recommendations can provide an in-depth interaction between tourists and local culture. The purpose of this socialization is; 1) Increase marketing of MSME products and tourist sites based on social media and websites to be more widely known; 2) Encourage and motivate the community to be enthusiastic in learning and always maintain the preservation of tourism in Lantan Village. The results of this community service were followed by very high community enthusiasm. In addition, the community also gains knowledge related to  technology which can be an effective means in spurring tourism progress through online promotion, as well as the use of the internet which is an inseparable component of technology.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve the quality of human resources in the village through empowerment programs and managerial training that are carried out online. This training focuses on three main aspects: leadership, financial management, and natural resource management. Thirty-five village officials and MSME managers participated in this training through the Zoom application for four sessions. The methods include material presentations, interactive discussions, case simulations, and post-training assistance via WhatsApp and follow-up webinars. The evaluation results showed that 75% of the participants experienced an improvement in managerial skills, especially in decision-making and financial management. In addition, participants' satisfaction with the training reached 85%, with a positive response to how the material was delivered and the relevance of the topic to the needs of the village community. Constraints such as limited internet access are overcome by providing session recordings and modules that can be accessed offline. This program fills the gap from previous research by focusing on economic aspects, leadership capacity building, and sustainable management of natural resources. The online approach in this training has proven to be effective in answering the needs of village communities and bridging geographical and technological limitations, which supports more competitive village development

Abstract

AbstrakProgram pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu-ibu La Rimpu di Desa Roka dalam mengembangkan potensi wisata lokal, khususnya DAM Roka, guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga melalui pengelolaan wisata yang efektif. Desa Roka memiliki potensi besar dalam sektor pariwisata yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, terutama dalam hal promosi dan pengelolaan usaha. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang berjumlah 20 orang anggota dengan rincian 7 orang berusia di bawah 30 tahun sisanya di atas 30 tahun. Pelatihan dan pendamipingan tersebut bertujuan agar mampu mengelola usaha pariwisata serta memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk promosi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan dua sesi mengenai pengelolaan wisata dan strategi promosi digital, serta pendampingan dalam merencanakan dan menjalankan usaha pariwisata. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta. Pengetahuan tentang potensi wisata lokal meningkat dari 45,55 menjadi 76,22, pemahaman tentang pengelolaan wisata berkelanjutan naik dari 43,79 menjadi 73,85, serta kemampuan merencanakan usaha wisata dari 43,27 menjadi 87,98. Tantangan terbesar yang dihadapi adalah promosi dan pemasaran, yang dialami oleh 15 dari 20 responden. Dengan hasil ini, program ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas ibu-ibu La Rimpu dalam mengelola dan mempromosikan usaha wisata, serta memberikan dampak positif bagi ekonomi lokal. Kata kunci: pemberdayaan;wisata lokal; manajemen usaha;promosi digital;kesejahteraan ekonomi. Abstract This community service program aims to empower the La Rimpu mothers in Roka Village to develop local tourism potential, particularly DAM Roka, in order to improve family economic welfare through effective tourism management. Roka Village has significant potential in the tourism sector, which has not yet been optimally utilized, especially in terms of promotion and business management. This activity focuses on training and mentoring 20 housewives, consisting of 7 participants under the age of 30 and the rest above 30. The training and mentoring aim to enable them to manage tourism businesses and leverage digital technology for promotion. The methods used include two training sessions on tourism management and digital promotion strategies, as well as mentoring in planning and running tourism businesses. Pre-test and post-test results show a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and skills. Knowledge of local tourism potential increased from 45.55 to 76.22, understanding of sustainable tourism management rose from 43.79 to 73.85, and the ability to plan tourism businesses improved from 43.27 to 87.98. The main challenge faced was promotion and marketing, experienced by 15 out of 20 respondents. These results indicate that the program effectively enhances the capacity of La Rimpu mothers in managing and promoting tourism businesses, providing a positive impact on the local economy. Keywords: empowerment; local tourism; business management; digital promotion; economic welfare.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a strategic necessity in the development of small businesses, including home-based enterprises run by housewives. However, many home-based culinary entrepreneurs lack skills in digital marketing. This community service activity aims to enhance digital marketing capacity for housewives involved in culinary businesses in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta. The training focuses on three main platforms that are easily accessible and user-friendly: Instagram, Canva, and WhatsApp Business. The methods employed include initial observation, preparation of training modules, face-to-face training, hands-on practice, as well as mentoring and evaluation. The results of the activity indicate a significant improvement in participants' abilities to create engaging promotional content, understand promotional functions and features on Instagram, and use WhatsApp Business proficiently. This is reflected in the pre-test and post-test results, which show an average score increase of 45–55%, particularly in the categories of promotional content creation, visual branding, and social media utilization. The evaluation of the activity also demonstrates a very high level of participant satisfaction, with an average score above 4.5 in terms of material relevance, participant engagement, and facilitator performance. This improvement indicates the success of the practice-based training method that is directly oriented towards participants' needs. It is hoped that this training can serve as a foundational step in the economic empowerment of families based on digital technology, while also encouraging housewives to be more confident in utilizing social media as an effective and sustainable promotional tool.

Abstract

Research on hygiene and sanitation courses has been carried out on students of the tourism study program at STIPAR Soromandi Bima. This study aims to develop a hygiene and sanitation learning tool based on typical food "Mbohi Dungga" using the PBL model to improve students' creative thinking skills. By using a 4-D model (developmental research) which include of RPS Textbooks, Worksheets and Instruments of students' creative thinking skills. Based on the objectives and results of the study, it can be concluded that the procedure for developing hgyene and sanitation learning devices based on typical food "Mbohi Dungga" using Problem Based Learning Models to improve creative thinking ability of STIPAR Soromandi Bima students by using the Four-D research development model is in the "GOOD" category. Thus, the learning tools developed can be declared "FEASIBLE" to be used in the learning process in the Hygyene and Sanitation course at STIPAR Soromandi Bima.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat penerapan media sosial sebagai alat promosi yang dilakukan agen perjalanan wisata. Penelitian ini bersifat non-eksperimental, kualitatif, transaksional, deskriptif, dan menggunakan sampel non-probabilitas. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil analisis mengungkapkan pentingnya peran jejaring sosial dalam strategi pemasaran saat ini. Meskipun banyak departemen pemasaran yang memiliki akun media sosial, tingkat keterlibatan atau interaksi pengguna dengan konten yang dipublikasikan masih rendah, yang menunjukkan perlunya meningkatkan kualitas konten dan strategi yang dapat melibatkan lebih aktif lagi antara pelanggan dan produk yang dipasarkan. Selain itu, pemantauan dan analisis aktivitas media sosial yang baik diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan efektivitas strategi pemasaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bentuk partisipasi pemuda, faktor pendukung, dan penghambat dalam pengembangan Tradisi Raju sebagai atraksi wisata. Metode kualitatif-deskriptif digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam terhadap informan (tokoh adat, pemuda, petani, dan akademisi), serta studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan partisipasi pemuda dalam pelaksanaan Tradisi Raju sangat aktif, terutama dalam ritual berburu (Nggalo), persiapan sesajen, dan tarian Kalero, didorong oleh kesadaran kultural endogen dan dukungan masyarakat. Namun, partisipasi dalam pengelolaan wisata masih pasif akibat rendahnya literasi pariwisata dan minimnya dukungan kelembagaan pemerintah desa. Faktor pendukung meliputi komitmen pelestarian budaya, momentum tahunan, dan peran pemuda sebagai agen perubahan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengoptimalan potensi Tradisi Raju memerlukan pendekatan community-based tourism yang mengintegrasikan pelatihan kapasitas pemuda, peningkatan promosi, dan sinergi antar-pemangku kepentingan. Implikasi praktisnya adalah perlunya model pengelolaan wisata berbasis partisipasi generasi muda yang memperkuat identitas budaya sekaligus mendorong ekonomi lokal. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literasi pariwisata budaya di Bima dan penguatan peran pemuda dalam transformasi tradisi lokal menjadi produk wisata berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tata kelola destinasi wisata Kota Bima yang didasari oleh nilai lokalitas budaya dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan masyarakat serta pertahanan budaya di daerah. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui potensi wisata dan penerapan kearifan lokal Maja Labo Dahu dalam pengelolaan destinasi wisata Kota Bima, mengingat pola pengembangan manjamen destinasi kedepan memerlukan eksplorasi tatanan nilai, lokalitas, dan keharmonisan dalam membangun destinasi wisata yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskritif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan ethnografi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, studi pustaka dan wawancara mendalam pada 40 informan yang terdiri dari 10 pengelola obyek wisata, 10 wisatawan, 10 tokoh agama dan budaya, dan 10 masyarakat lokal. Data dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi, menyajikan, dan menyimpulkan data serta memverifikasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa potensi pariwisata Kota Bima bertumpu pada keanekaragaman, keunikan dan kekhasan budaya dan alam, serta letak wilayah yang sangat strategis menghubungkan antara Labuan Bajo, Lombok, dan Bali sebagai daerah pariwisata prioritas nasional yang dapat dijangkau melalui darat, laut dan udara. Keberadaan potensi wisata perlu dikelola dengan menerapkan nilai lokalitas Maja Labo Dahu yang dipengang teguh masyarakat Bima sesuai dengan norma agama (Islam) seperti jujur, dapat dipercaya, harmonis, kompeten, dan adaptif. Manajemen destinasi wisata berbasis Maja labo Dahu dapat menjadi sebuah model alternatif dalam pengelolaan pariwisata berbasis kearifan lokal, yang mengajarkan tentang keharmonisan relasi antara manusia dengan Tuhan, manusia dengan manusia, dan manusia dengan lingkungannya. Pentingnya implementasi budaya Maja labo Dahu dalam pengelolaan destinasi wisata adalah upaya untuk menjaga keberlangsungan sumber daya alam dan sosial budaya dan pada waktu yang bersamaan dapat memperoleh manfaat secara ekonomi bagi masyarakat lokal. Maka, dalam rangka memberikan acuan bagi pemangku kepentingan, perlu pembuatan pedoman pengelolaan destinasi pariwisata berbasis kearifan lokal yang Berkelanjutan.
