Abstract

The research objective of developing an articulated storyline media based on atmosphere material is to explain how interactive and valid learning media work. The ADDIE development model is combined with the R&D method in this study. Validation was carried out using assessment sheets by material experts and also the media as a data collection technique for this research, and using tests and questionnaires for students. Based on the results of the research that has been done, this learning media gets a score of 94.56% from material experts and also the media. It can be concluded that this finding is an Articulate Storyline medium for atmosphere material that is very effective in learning natural sciences in seventh grade junior high school.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan validitas, efektivitas dan kepraktisan penggunaan E-LKPD berbasis problem based learning guna memfasilitasi  literasi sains dan persepsi peserta didik SMP. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Prosedur penelitian ini melalui lima fase yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kuantitatif, kredit angket validasi produk, angket persepsi dan hasil tes belajar peserta didik. Hasil  penelitian dan pengembangan ini berupa E-LKPD berbasis problem based learning yang valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam memfasilitasi kemampuan literasi sains siswa. Berdasarkan penilaian validator ahli E-LKPD memperoleh persentase sebesar 92% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kemudian dari aspek kepraktisan, E-LKPD memperoleh persentase sebesar 85%, termasuk dalam kategori sangat positif. Adapun untuk nilai efektivitas E-LKPD memperoleh persentase sebesar 77.93% dengan kategori tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD yang dikembangkan tergolong dalam kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk memfasilitasi literasi sains peserta didik SMP.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran materi sistem pencernaan manusia gambar 2D dinilai belum mengikuti tuntutan perkembangan teknologi. Media alat peraga sistem pencernaan manusia yang berbentuk 3D memiliki keterbatasan tidak bisa digunakan ketika proses pembelajaran jarak jauh. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajarnan materi sistem pemcernaan manusia yang sesuai dengan tuntutan perkembangan teknologi dan mampu digunakan untuk pembelajaran jarak jauh yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Subjek uji coba penelitian adalah pada kelompok kecil dengan 15 peserta didik kelas VIII SMP/MTs sederajat. Data penelitian berupa hasil validasi yang ditinjau dari hasil lembar validasi dan hasil kepraktisan yang ditinjau dari angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran articulate storyline pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia (1) Hasil validasi kelayakan media ditinjau dari ahli materi dan ahli media mencapai 0,91 dengan kategori sangat valid (2) Hasil kepraktisan didapatkan mencapai 88% dengan kategori praktis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini media pembelajaran articulate storyline pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia untuk siswa SMP dinyatakan layak teruji dan praktis.

Abstract

Mastery of the concept is needed to measure the success of students' learning process. The objectives of this study were 1) To describe the mastery of the concept of dynamic electricity in class IX students at Junior High School Negeri 26 Banjarmasin who taught using PhET media, and 2) To describe whether or not there was an effect of using PhET as a learning medium in class IX at Junior High School Negeri 26 Banjarmasin. The type of research used is quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods and a nonequivalent control group research design. The data in this study is collected from the test (pre-test and post-test), which contain cognitive domains. The data analysis techniques used to test the hypothesis are the N-gain and simple linear regression tests. The result showed: 1) There were differences in the mastery of concepts in the control class and the experimental class as seen from the post-test average scores, namely 47,94 and 74,76; 2) There is an increase in students' mastery of concepts in the experimental class with an N-gain score in the experimental class of 54,09 in the medium category and the control class 22,76 in the low category; and 3) There is an effect of using PhET media on increasing mastery of students’ concepts by 52% based on the results of simple linear regression test. Using PhET media with the guided inquiry method positively influences and increases students' mastery of concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a STEM-based science learning module using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach to improve students' problem-solving skills. The research design follows the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. A total of 31 students from a single class participated in the learning process using the developed module. The data collected included pretest and posttest scores, as well as student response questionnaires regarding the module. The analysis results indicate that the STEM-based PjBL science learning module is highly valid, with a score of 0.80 based on Aiken's V calculation. Additionally, there was a significant improvement in students' problem-solving abilities, as shown by the increase in average pretest scores from 57.65 to 79.61 after using the module. This suggests that the developed module is effective in enhancing students' problem-solving skills. Furthermore, student feedback on the module was positive, with a total score of 85%, indicating that it is very practical and beneficial for the learning process. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of innovative and effective teaching methods.

Abstract

Integrated science education requires prospective teachers to incorporate various educational elements into their teaching practices. Students in the Science Education Program at FKIP ULM encounter challenges when planning science lessons that blend different concepts, contexts, and skills into a cohesive learning experience. To tackle this challenge, the researcher created a teaching module that provides guidance on integrating science education using two of Robin Fogarty's curriculum integration models: the connected model and the nest model. This study seeks to examine the module's role in developing teaching skills. It employs a qualitative methodology with case study approach, focusing on the experiences of sixth-semester science education students during their teaching. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, utilizing theoretical sampling until saturation was reached. The analysis was conducted using Charmaz’s grounded theory approach and then discussed from the perspective of Teaching Mastery Framework (TMF). The findings indicate that the developed integrated science education module can support prospective teachers in planning of teaching practice, especially in teachers pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) and developing lesson plan

Abstract

This research aims to produce a flora encyclopedia product on Curiak Island that is suitable for improving critical thinking skills.  Type of Educational Design Research (EDR) research using Tessmer formative evaluation design. The formative evaluation used consists of four stages, namely the self-evaluation stage, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. Collecting product validation data using an encyclopedia assessment instrument. Data regarding validity is collected through an encyclopedia validation sheet by giving a score of 1, 2, 3, or 4 (1 = not good, 2 = quite good, 3 = good, and 4 = very good). Critical thinking assessment use essay with four indicators. The findings show that the product developed is feasible in terms of material, media and language. The test results show that there is a significant difference in students' critical thinking abilities before and after learning. Apart from that, the analysis indicator in critical thinking skills obtained the highest score in the medium category. These findings illustrate that the effectiveness of product expectations is effective in improving students' critical thinking abilities.
