Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji morfometri beberapa varietas tanaman padi ( Oryza sativa L . ) di Kecamatan Pulau Rimau Kabupaten Banyusin telah dilakukan dari Bulan Maret sampai Juni 2021. Metode yang dilakukan adalah metode observasi (pengamatan langsung ke lapangan), pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara P urposive S memperkuatpada satu petak areal tanaman padi di setiap areal varietas padi. Parameter pengamatan pada penelitian ini meliputi morfologi akar, daun, batang, bunga dan buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem perakaran padi adalah, rata-rata jumlah cabang akar dalam satu batang varietas tanaman padi serabutan 41 - 80 cabang akar. Batang terdapat persamaan pada bentuk batang yaitu berbentuk, pada rata-rata ruas batang berkisar 4 - 6 ruas per-batang dengan rata-rata tinggi batang berkisar 59,8 - 106,2 cm, rata-rata diameter batang berkisar 0,54 mm - 0,74mm. Daun memiliki sirkum scriptioberbentuk pita berwarna dengan rata-rata jumlah daun hijau berkisar 4 - 6 helai, rata-rata permukaan daun berkisar 31,5 cm - 55,1 cm, tepi daun rata, daun meruncing dan pertulangan daun sejajar. Malai menemukan 1 per-batang, dengan rata-rata panjang malai berkisar 21,1 - 30 cm, dan rata-rata buah per-malai berkisar 87 - 218 buah. Buah berbentuk ramping panjang, ramping, sedang panjang, sedang, sampai ramping, berwarna kuning bersih hingga berwarna hitam keabu-abuan, dengan rata-rata diameter 25 - 28 mm, rata-rata panjang 7,9 - 10,3 mm, dan rata-rata berat buah 1,11 – 1,49 gram. Kata kunci : Oryza sativa, M orfometri, V arietas

Abstract

ABSTRACTResearch on Inventory of Medicinal Herbs Around the Yard in Sentosa Village was conducted in March to April 2019 in Sentosa Village, Seberang Ulu II District, Plaju Palembang. The research aims to find out the types of medicinal plants around the yard, parts of plants used as medicine, and types of diseases that can be treated. The study uses descriptive survey methods and observation methods of interviews with local communities. The results of the study are based on the data obtained that medicinal plants in the yard of Sentosa Subdistrict, Seberang Ulu 2 District of Palembang from the Spermatopyta division consist of 2 classes, 13 families, 14 orders, 20 genera and 20 species of medicinal plants. Plant parts which are used as medicine from the monocotyledon class are rhizomes, roots and leaves because the rhizomes have active compounds, flavonoids, saponins, and essential oils, while the dicotyledone class part that is widely used as medicine is leaves, because many leaves contain compounds such as tannins, alkaloids, essential oils that are useful as drugs stored in the tissues of the leaves. Utilization of the most efficacious medicinal plant parts the highest percentage of leaves in 80%, while in the roots of 45%. Keywords: Inventory, house yard, medicinal plants. ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang Inventarisasi Tumbuhan Berkhasiat Obat Di Sekitar Pekarangan di Kelurahan Sentosa telah dilakukan pada Maret sampai April 2019 di Kelurahan  Sentosa  Kecamatan Seberang Ulu II Plaju Palembang. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis – jenis Tumbuhan Berkhasiat Obat di sekitar pekarangan, bagian tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat, dan jenis penyakit yang dapat diobat. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey deskriptif dan metode observasi wawancara dengan masyarakat setempat. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan data yang didapatkan bahwa tanaman yang berkhasiat obat dipekarangan Kelurahan Sentosa Kecamatan Seberang Ulu 2 Palembang dari divisio Spermatopyta terdiri dari 2 class, 13 familia, 14 ordo, 20 genus dan 20 spesies tumbuhan berkhasiat obat. Bagian-bagian tanaman yang digunakan sebagai obat dari kelas monokotil adalah rimpang, akar dan daun karena rimpang memiliki senyawa aktif, flavonoid, saponin, dan minyak atsiri, sedangkan kelas dikotiledone bagian yang banyak digunakan sebagai obat adalah daun, karena pada daun banyak mengandung senyawa seperti tannin, alkaloid, minyak atsiri yang berguna sebagai obat yang tersimpan di jaringan pada daun. Pemanfaatan bagian tumbuhan berkhasiat obat persentasi tertinggi pada daun sebesar 80 %, sedangkan pada akar sebesar 45 %.

Abstract

AbstractResearch on the Morphological characteristics of fruit plants in Suka Damai Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, has been carried out from April 2021 to June 2021, aims to examine the types of horticultural plants through the morphological characteristics of roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruit. This study uses a descriptive survey method by exploring the village area as many as 3 RT. Observations were made by looking directly at fruit horticultural plants and then recorded, photographed and then described the morphology. The results obtained 17 species are fruit plants. The species obtained had roots (Radix) with a fibrous root system (Radix adventicia) and a tap (Radix primaria). Stem morphology (Caulis) includes stem types, namely wet stems, grasses and woody. Leaf morphology (Folium) consists of single leaf (Folium simplex) and compound leaf (Folium compositum) with leaf structures including leaf shape (Circumscription) elongated (Oblangus), ovoid (Ovatus), lanceolate (Lanceolatus), sword (Ensiformis), triangle (Triangularis), heart (Cordatus), delta (Deltoideus), ribbon (Ligulatus), jorong (Ovalis). Flower morphology The flower morphology (Flos) is of single flower type (Planta unifloris), and compound flowers (Anthotaxis), which are found in the leaf axils (Flos axillaris) and leaf tips (Flos terminalis). The morphology of fruit (Fructus) was in the types of pseudo fruit (single pseudo, double pseudo, compound pseudo) and true fruit (buni fruit, stone fruit, box fruit, pod). Keywords: horticultural crops, plant morphology

Abstract

Research on Stomata Structure in the Poaceae Family in Kota Bumi Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, was carried out from April to May 2022. The purpose of the study was to examine the stomata structure on the adaxial (top) and abaxial (bottom) leaves of the Poaceae family. This study uses a descriptive survey method by going directly to the research location exploring the area of ​​Kota Bumi Village, Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Sampling was done by direct observation observing the stomata structure of the adaxial (top) and abaxial (bottom) leaves of rice plants (Oryza sativa.), corn (Zea mays), reeds (Imperata cylindrica), sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) and lemongrass ( Cymbopogon citratus). The results of the study found that 5 species had stomata located on the surface of the leaf Adaxia (top) and Abaxial (bottom) leaf. Amphistomatic type of stomatal spread. The shape of each guard cell is in the shape of a dumbbell. The number of neighboring cells is 2 neighboring cells. Abstract

Research that examines the morphological characteristics of medicinal plants in Prabujaya Village, Prabumulih City has been carried out from April 2022 to May 2022. This study uses a survey method. Direct retrieval explores the area of ​​Prabujaya Village, East Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City. Sampling was done by direct observation, by looking at the list of Indonesian medicinal plants and the results of direct interviews with the community. The results of the study found that there were medicinal plants from the Spermatophyta divisio, consisting of 2 classes, 12 orders, 12 families, 18 genera and 18 species. The root morphology type (Radix) has taproot and fibrous root. The stem morphology (Caulis) is in the form of pseudo stem, woody stem, wet stem and grass stem. Leaf morphology (Folium) is lanceolate (lanceolatus), elongated (oblongus), ovoid (ovatus), ribbon (ligulatus) and oblong (ovalis). Flower morphology (FLOs) includes single interest, compound interest bunches, compound interest, grain compound interest, pseudo compound interest, umbrella compound interest, strand compound interest. Fruit morphology (Fructus) includes true fruit types of buni fruit, citrus fruit, kendaga fruit, compound stone fruit, dry single true fruit, compound true fruit, and pseudo true fruit. The parts of the organs used as medicine are leaves, rhizomes, roots, stems, flowers, and fruit.

Abstract

Research on Inventory of Medicinal Plants in Muara Baru Village, Kayuagung City District, Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency. The research uses a descriptive survey method and observation method. Based on the results of semi-structured interviews with the people of Muara Baru Village, Kota Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency, 19 types of plants were found that can be used to treat various diseases. Plant parts used as medicine include: leaves, rhizomes, seeds, roots, stems, fruit and flowers. including (63.15%), as many leaves as (26.32%), as many rhizomes as (21.05%), as many flowers as (15.79%), as many roots as (10.53%), as many stems as (10 .53%), and seeds as much as (5.26%). Ways of processing plants as traditional medicine by the people of Muara Baru Village, Kota Kayu Agung District, Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency include boiling, kneading, blending, consuming directly and the methods of use are drinking, eating, rubbing on and using straight away.

Abstract

Research has been carried out to analyze organic C levels in soil samples using a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. Carbon in soil functions as a food source for microorganisms, which can accelerate decomposition activities and reactions of organic matter in the soil. The aim of determining organic C levels is to determine the amount of organic carbon contained in soil samples, which plays an important role in assessing soil fertility. The analytical method used is UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The analysis results showed that organic C levels in soil samples ranged from 0.15% to 2.27%. Samples with code D have the highest C-organic content, namely 2.27%, while samples with code A have the lowest C-organic content, namely 0.15%. Most organic C levels were detected in the deficiency (low) category. Low levels of organic C in the soil have an impact on plant growth that is less than optimal. To improve the quality and levels of soil organic C, it is recommended to add compost or urea to reach standards that correspond to good soil quality.

Abstract

Research of Analysis of Weeds in Rice Plantations (Oryza sativa) was conducted in April - June 2025, located in Wanasari Village, Semendawai Timur District, East OKU Regency. The purpose of the study was to analyze weed vegetation in rice plantations (Oryza sativa). This study uses survey methods. Sampling using on the plot which is carried out based on a rectangular plot measuring 2 m x 2 m with a total of 5 plots is placed systematically. The results of the study found 9 species from 7 genera and 7 families. The nine species are Scoparia dulcis, Ophiopogon japonicus, Ludwigia peploides, Ludwugia octovalvis, Ageratum conyzoides, Fimbristilys littoralis, Cyperus kyllingia, Cynodon dactylon, and Sida rhombifolia. The highest weed density calculation was in the Cynodon dactylon species with a value of 7.8 ind/m2 and the lowest in the Scoporia dulcius species with a value of 2.65 ind/m2. The highest important value index (INP) was Cynodon dactylon with an important value index value of 25.73%. While the lowest important value index was the Scoparia dulcis weed type with an important value index of 16.08%. Diversity index is included in the moderate category with a value of  2,13.
