Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan hikmah keseriusan, tantangan yang luar biasa pada semua sektor kehidupan, agar semua berjalan seperti biasa. Penyediaan kebutuhan pangan menjadi penting, seiring dengan protokol kesehatan yang ketat untuk selalu hidup bersih dan menjaga jarak. Hal ini belum pernah dipikirkan sebelumnya, terutama dalam jangkauan industri kecil tentang pemesanan olahan pangan sistem on line jarak jauh, take way untuk rumah makan-kafe. Industri Rumah Tangga (IRT), UKM, mempresepsikan masa pandemi ini sebagai tantangan untuk memperbaiki kualitas produksinya agar lebih diterima masyarakat yang saat ini lebih selektif memilih makanan sehat, tanpa resiko penularan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh bakteri, jamur, virus. IRT berlabel sate manis balut kacang SIDOSEMI menerapkan produk pangan sehat , aman tanpa pengawet dan bahan tambahan pangan lainnya Produk sate manis dalam kemasan telah diproduksi rata-rata 400 tusuk/hari, dengan kualitas empuk, rasa eksotik rempah nusantara yang melegenda. Upaya yang telah dilakukan IRT SIDOSEMI dengan mengikuti berbagai pelatihan olahan pangan , masih belum mampu diimplementasikan untuk menjadi produk yang unggul. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh IRT adalah produk sate manis tidak dapat bertahan lebih dari 24 jam pendistribusian. Kemasan sate yang digunakan adalah plastik yang telah divakum, saat pengiriman diberi es dimasukkan ke styroform. Hasil penelitian di laboratorium Teknik Kimia Politeknik Negeri Malang (POLINEMA) , ditemukan timbulnya jamur, setelah sate manis dibiarkan pada suhu kamar, selama waktu 2 x 24 jam. Hal ini menyebabkan jangkauan distribusinya terbatas hanya di sekitar Malang Raya. Proses produksi, terdiri penggilingan bahan baku daging, bumbu rempah, kacang; pencetakan; pembakaran; pengemasan. Ada 5 (lima) permasalahan dalam pengelolaan IRT SIDOSEMI yaitu i) proses produksi masih manual, kemasan plastik tidak kedap udara-cahaya, ii) manajemen pemasaran on line masih standart, iii) aspek kewirausahaan, belum adanya inovasi produk yang daya bersaing ,iv)administrasi keuangan masih sederhana,v) manajemen mutu dan kesehatan masih rendah, belum memperhatikan aspek standart mutu dan higienitas produk. Aspek permasalahan produksi, kemasan, mutu dan kesehatan menjadi titik kritis karena berhubungan potensi besar kontaminasi, karena dilakukan secara manual dengan waktu lama tanpa kendali standart mutu. Sedang permasalahan lainnya sebagai pendukung perlu dioptimalisasi. Solusi yang ditawarkan melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM), diharapkan dapat membantu menyelesaikan masalah pendeknya waktu distribusi ke konsumen dengan memutus kontaminasi akibat mata rantai jamur,bakteri patogen sehingga produk olahan ini menjadi lebih awet.

Abstract

The creative economy is an economic sector that generates value through intellectual creation and innovation. It encompasses a range of economic activities related to the creation, production, and distribution of goods and services based on knowledge and creativity. The creative economy empowers individuals by prioritising talents, skills, and creative ideas that contribute to job creation, economic growth, and social and cultural development. The research method conducted in this study is the literature research method. The results show that creative economy empowerment can be done through three main strategies: education and training oriented towards creativity and innovation; development of infrastructure and ecosystems that support synergies between creative economy actors; and utilisation of technology and digital platforms to expand market access. Moreover, a sustainable development model in the creative economy must incorporate elements of economic, social and environmental sustainability. This research reinforces the understanding that the creative economy must be managed with strategies that include sustainable development principles to realise wider benefits for society and the environment.

Abstract

The technological revolution of the last decade has significantly impacted the financial services industry, characterised by the rise of financial technology (fintech). Fintech has promised to increase accessibility of financial services, transactional efficiency and financial inclusion. However, this rapid growth also brings new risks and challenges that are not yet fully understood. The research method used in this study is literature. The results show that fintech has successfully changed the paradigm of financial services, integrating technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics to deliver faster, cheaper, and more personalised services. This has contributed to financial inclusion in many previously underserved areas. However, significant challenges such as cybersecurity risks, regulatory uncertainty, and operational risks are emerging as side effects of the rapid adoption of fintech. These risks demand serious attention, mitigation, and management from all decision makers in the industry.

Abstract

This study investigates the development and implementation of a dual-axis solar tracking system for off-grid 100Wp photovoltaic (PV) systems to enhance energy harvesting efficiency and ensure sustainable power generation. The research addresses the limitations of fixed-tilt PV systems, which often underperform due to suboptimal solar alignment, especially in regions with dynamic weather conditions. The results demonstrated a significant increase in energy output, achieving up to 13,75% higher efficiency compared to static systems under similar operational conditions. This improvement is attributed to the system's ability to maintain optimal solar panel orientation throughout the day, facilitated by an advanced tracking algorithm and real-time sensor integration. The distinctive features of the developed system include its cost-effective design, adaptability to various geographical locations, and robust performance under fluctuating environmental conditions. The findings suggest that the dual-axis tracking system is wellsuited for deployment in remote or off-grid areas where reliable and efficient power generation is critical. Practical applications of this system are particularly relevant for rural electrification, agricultural irrigation systems, and other decentralized energy solutions in regions with abundant solar resources.

Abstract

Tobacco is an important commodity for the economy and livelihoods of farmers in Indonesia. Factors that influence the success of tobacco cultivation include climate, agricultural practices, and technology. East Java Province, as a major producer, contributed 49.04% of total national production in 2020. The quality of tobacco produced affects farmers' income and market prices, with global economic dynamics also influencing. The tobacco production process involves several steps, including classification, processing, and marketing. The implementation of this community service focuses on the processing process, namely Nganjang (arranging chopped tobacco leaves on the rigen). The development was carried out with an automatic nganjang machine to increase the efficiency of the tobacco leaf processing process in Jatiguwi Village, Malang Regency. A field survey was conducted to understand the needs of partners, namely KUB Makmur Barokah. Previous partners experienced obstacles in the manual nganjang process, namely the human resources required were quite a lot while regeneration was almost non-existent. So a machine is needed that is designed to be able to speed up the process and reduce the need for labor. The results of the Community Service activities show that the nganjang machine can work well and get a positive response from partners.

Abstract

Many fishery products come from fishing and cultivation, saltwater and freshwater fisheries, so a preservation process is needed to maintain the condition of the fish so that it remains good when marketed. In addition, it can increase the economic value of fish. In the Indonesian fisheries industry, various types of preservation, including freeze drying, are drying processes using vacuum pressure and cold temperatures. The freeze-drying process utilizes the phased nature of water to convert solid (frozen) forms into water vapor (gas) at a certain pressure and temperature. The vacuum pressure used ranges from -60.3 cmHg to -71.6 cmHg, and the mass of the fish ranges from 94 grams to 136 grams. The type of research is quantitative and uses experimental methods. The result is in the form of a remaining moisture content percentage of 40% in dried fish according to SNI standard No. 827300:2023. The Respone Surface Methodology (RSM) was used to process the data in this study. From the study, the best value of vacuum pressure was -66 cmHg and mass 102.5417 with a final result of 40%.

Abstract

As a country that has a tropical climate, Indonesia is one of the largest coconut producing countries in the world. It is recorded at the Central Statistics Agency that in 2022 total coconut production will reach 2.87 million tons. A composite is a material that is formed from a combination of two or more materials so that a composite material is produced that has different mechanical properties and characteristics from the material that forms it. The coconut fiber - epoxy composite consists of coconut fiber as a filler and epoxy resin as a matrix. Coconut fiber - epoxy composite is an alternative material that has the potential to replace conventional materials, one of which is in making vehicle bumpers. This research aims to determine the effect of alkali treatment time and volume fraction of coconut fiber (cocofiber) - epoxy composites on impact strength. The experimental method used was a variety of alkali soaking treatments for 1.5 hours, 2.5 hours and 3.5 hours and fiber volume fractions of 10%, 15% and 20%. The test results show that a 10% volume fraction with 3.5 hour alkali treatment produces the lowest impact strength of 0.017 J/mm², while a 20% volume fraction with 1.5 hour alkali treatment produces the highest impact strength of 0.048 J/mm² which meets Japanese standards Industry Standard (JIS) A5905 – 2003 with an impact strength of 0.02433 J/mm². This study concluded that a higher volume fraction resulted in a higher impact strength value, but this value decreased with increasing alkali immersion time.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki potensi perikanan yang melimpah, baik dari hasil tangkapan maupun budidaya air tawar dan air asin. Oleh karena itu, pengolahan hasil perikanan melalui pengawetan menjadi sangat penting untuk menjaga kualitas ikan selama distribusi dan pemasaran, sekaligus meningkatkan nilai ekonomis produk. Salah satu metode pengawetan yang populer adalah pengeringan beku, yaitu proses pengeringan yang menggunakan tekanan vakum dan suhu rendah untuk mengubah air dalam bahan dari fase padat (beku) langsung menjadi uap, tanpa melewati fase cair dan tanpa pemanasan tinggi. Metode ini mampu mempertahankan kualitas dan nilai gizi produk lebih baik dibandingkan metode pengeringan konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja mesin pengering beku dengan memvariasikan suhu dan massa spesimen ikan lele. Variasi suhu yang digunakan berkisar antara 0°C hingga -15°C, sedangkan massa ikan yang diuji berkisar antara 100 gram hingga 130 gram. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental kuantitatif dengan pengukuran kadar air yang berhasil dihilangkan selama proses pengeringan beku. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak Minitab untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi suhu dan massa terhadap kadar air. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan mengenai pengaruh kedua variabel tersebut terhadap efektivitas pengeringan beku pada ikan patin, serta dapat menjadi acuan untuk pengembangan teknologi pengawetan ikan yang lebih efisien dan berkualitas..

Abstract

Pembukuan keuangan dan pengadministrasian mutlak diperlukan baik untuk organisasi berorientasi profit (perusahaan) maupun organisasi non profit (nirlaba). Bagi siswa-siswi SLTA dan mahasiswa di kecamatan Jagakarsa dan sekitarnya dalam rangka memudahkan pengorganisasian, pencatatan keuangan dan pengadministrasian maka pihak Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Kosgoro 1957 menyelenggarakan Pelatihan Pembukuan Sederhana untuk mereka sekaligus diberikan pelatihan cara-cara membuat surat lamaran kerja untuk perusahaan internasional. Pelatihan diberikan oleh para dosen-dosen Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Kosgoro 1957 ditambah masukan dari pihak stakeholder (perusahaan internasional) serta alumni Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Kosgoro 1957 yang telah bekerja dan sukses. Juga diberikan masukan/amanah dari anggota DPR-RI Komisi X.

Abstract

Sumberingin Bath is one of the natural tourist destinations located in Wringinsongo Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency, East Java. This bathing site features a clear and refreshing spring, attracting many visitors from various regions. However, Sumberingin Bath has tourism potential that has not been fully optimized, particularly in the area of night tourism. The objective of this community service project is to develop a decorative lighting area powered by renewable energy at Sumberingin Bath. The methodology employed includes the development of decorative lighting infrastructure, providing training to the community on the management, maintenance, and installation of lights integrated with a solar power system, and creating a selfie tourism program that leverages the beauty of decorative lights to enhance the destination's appeal on social media. The results of this community service initiative offer solutions to the issue of limited lighting and the need to extend the operational hours of the tourist site, while also increasing knowledge and adding value to the location as a renewable energy-based night tourism destination. A total of more than 40 decorative lights were installed, with an average power consumption of 1,200 watts. The energy for these lights is derived from renewable energy stored in a powerwall system with a capacity of 14,400 watts
