Abstract

Buah durian untuk dikomsumsi maka kulitnya harus dikupas terlebih dahulu, secara konvensional pengupasan kulit durian menggunakan parang dan pisau, pengupasan kulit secara konvensional sangat berisiko melukai bagian tubuh terutama tangan, untuk mengurangi resiko tersebut diperlukan suatu alat alternatif untuk mengupas durian dengan baik dan aman. Beberapa alat pembelah durian yang sudah diproduksi kurang diminati masyarakat karena harga terlalu mahal, kurang praktis, tenaga yang digunakan terlalu besar, untuk itu diperlukan inovasi baru agar kekurangan dari penelitian sebelumnya dapat dioptimalkan, salahnya pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan dan pembuatan alat pembelah kulit durian dengan bentuk lebih praktis dan ekonomis, dengan mengggunakan prinsip kerja mekanis Perencanaan desain alat dilakukan dengan membandingkan dengan beberapa literatur yang dilaksanakan pada penelitian sebelumnya, kemudian beberapa temuan titik kelemahan tersebut diubah dan di desain dengan menggunakan perangkat Software AutoCAD, bagian-bagian komponen yang di desain selanjutnya dilakukan pembuatan, jika desain gambar telah memenuhi syarat teknis, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan proses perakitan dan pengujian. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan satu unit alat bantu pembelah buah durian dengan ukuran dimensi tinggi 50 cm lebar 20 cm dan panjang 30 cm. ?kata kunci: Durian, pembelah buah, sistem mekanis, AutoCAD

Abstract

Rice harvesting machines that can be operated in swampy, peatland, narrow and can be operated and maintained by farmers, can be considered for design, some previous research has been carried out, including a two-lane mini rice harvester with a performance of 20.33 hours per hectare and has been in manufacturing and in performance tests. Experimental studies on engine performance were carried out in this research. This research uses 2x50 watt peak polycrystalline solar panels connected to a 12 volt 45 AH battery, the battery will drive a 50 watt electric motor. Current and voltage measurements are carried out on the solar panel and battery when in condition, first the solar panel is connected to the battery and not connected to the electric motor, the second solar panel is connected to the battery and connected to the electric motor, the three solar panels are not connected to the battery and the battery is connected to electric motor. The results of the first condition study indicate that the electric current will be more stable using a new battery, when compared to using a battery in the previous study. The second condition was that the performance of the two-lane mini rice harvester increased by 50% when compared to the performance of an electric motor using a battery that was not connected to a solar panel. The third condition shows the performance of the electric motor has increased by up to 300% when compared with the results of previous studies, it is estimated that the electric motor will continue to rotate for up to 8-10 hours

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa tingkat getaran dan kebisingan pada Equipment Vibrating screen crusher FC 02 pada PT. MIFA Bersaudara. Getaran diukur dengan menggunakan alat vibration meter, kebisingan diukur dengan sound level meter dengan tipe digital. Pengukuran dilakukan pada sumbu x,y dan z pada setiap titik pengukuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai tingkat getaran pada vibrating screen crusher FC 02 pada sumbu x dengan nilai velocity 28,56 mm/s, sumbu y nilai 29,82 mm/s dan sumbu z nilai velocity 25,46 mm/s. Sedangkan nilai Acceleration pada sumbu x sebesar 20,7 m/s2 nilai 30,86 m/s2 pada sumbu y dan z sebesar 21,42 m/s2. Sedangkan nilai kebisingan menujukan bahwa nilai rata-rata pada sisi kanan menujukan sebesar 99,6 dBA pada sisi kanan dan pada sisi kiri sebesar 101,7 dBA. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah yaitu dengan cara tidak mengoperasikan vibrating screen crusher FC 02 melebihi batas maksimum yang di anjurkan 60 dBA dan maksimum yang diperbolehkan yaitu 70 dBA sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya permasalahan kenyamanan, kesehatan, dan keselamatan kerja. Operator berserta karyawan disarankan berada dilokasi tersebut tidak lebih dari 15-30 menit, jika lebih dari waktu tersebut harus menggunakan earmuff safety.

Abstract

Forging is a metal processing process by changing its shape in a hot state with a punch system. Some of the forging products produced by the blacksmith industry such as machetes, knives, hoes, dodos, household, agricultural, and equipment for agricultural and plantation products. But now the existence of the blacksmith industry has begun to fade because of the proliferation of manufactured products. The traditional blacksmith business that was pioneered in the village of Blang Berdang, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency, Pande Besi UDM Service. Regency. West Aceh. which has been passed on to the third generation which is managed from generation to generation to get the iron processing skills obtained from his parents. the use of this tool to facilitate the community in the productivity of blacksmiths technologically in West Aceh. The results of iron forging can increase marketing and promotion for their work so that the product can be accepted by traditional and modern markets. From the description above, it is necessary to manufacture a Pneumatic Power Forging Hammer Machine to Increase the Productivity of Traditional Blacksmiths in West Aceh and assistance in Product Promotion so that their products can be sold throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose of this study is to determine the quality of services in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) minimum service standards Pertamina Pasti Pas gas stations and to determine the degree of influence the quality of services provided Pasti Pas Meureubo gas stations to customer satisfaction. Method used to analyze the quality of service to satisfaction costumer is Servqual method which is the method used to measure the quality of service of the attributes of each dimension, so the value will be gap (the gap) is difference between consumer perceptions of the services that have been received with expectations to be received. The measurement method is to measure the quality of service of the attributes of each dimension, so that would be obtained value gap is the difference between consumer perceptions of service received by the consumer expectations on the services that will be received. However, in general there has been no uniformity limitations on the concept of quality servive (servqual). Data analysis Pearson correlation coefficients were processed through a computerized statistical software. Based on the findings of the research data, can be obtained by the correlation coefficient (r) of rhitung of 0, 886 were identified at the level of 0.01. Based on the statement that if r> 0, then the hypothesis is accepted and positive direction. Because calculations show that rhitung r (0, 886)> rtabel (0.198), meaning Ha (alternative hypothesis) Ho accepted and rejected. By this it can be seen that customer satisfaction (customers satisfaction) influence on the service "Pasti Pas" Pertamina.Keyword Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction, SPBU Pasti Pas, Meureubo

Abstract

Research purposes to add practical tool for students in the Department of Mechanical Engineering , University of Teuku Umar . especially for the practice of subjects Physical Metallurgy , engineering design is done with the steps: a literature study , design , manufacture and testing based on ASTM A 255-02 . Results frame design with dimensions of 175x100x100 cm , 56cmx6cmx5 mm specimen holder with a hole diameter of 26.5 mm , water tank diameter of 56 cm and a height of 45 cm , an electric pump with a rotation of 2850 rpm . Testing test equipment using specimens ASTM A 255-02 . Abstract

Potensi area persawahan Aceh mencapai 27.100 hektar dengan Produktivitas gabah 131.000 ton pada tahun 2013. Proses pemotongan batang padi secara konvensional dengan menggunakan sabit yang selama ini digunakan oleh masyarakat pedesaan mengalami beberapa kendala, diantaranya untuk memanen padi dibutuhkan 5-8 petani, waktu pemanenan  lebih lama, memungkinkan terjadinya kecelakaan pada saat pemanenan lebih besar, sedangkan peralatan mekanis tidak dapat dijangkau oleh masyarakat menengah kebawah disebabkan oleh harga yang relatif tinggi. Maka diperlukan altenatif mesin pemanen padi meaknis yang relatif lebih murah dan terjangkau serta memiliki fungsi lain selain memanen padi sehngga diharapkan lebih ekonomis. Proses desain dilakukan dengan menggunakan software AutoCAD dan Manufaktur Proses manufaktur dilakukan secara manual yang meliputi pembuatan, pembuatan rangka, memodifikasi mata potong, setelan tinggi rendah, dudukan solar sel, dudukan baterai, pengarah batang padi, dudukan mesin, poros roda, roda dan proses pengecatan. Hasil penelitian ini menghasil satu unit mesin pemanen padi multi fungsi yang selain bisa digunakan untuk memanen padi, juag bisa digunakan untuk memotong rumput dan tebu.Kata kunci : Rancang Bangun, AutoCAD, pemanen padi, Multifungsi

Abstract

Coconut processing that still uses traditional methods, of course this is not efficient considering the long time of extortion and also requires a lot of energy for extortion. The purpose of this research is to design and manufacture centrifugal system coconut milk squeezer integrated with the grating process. The research method is carried out by the calculation of the main components of the machine and followed by component design using software. The results of this study explain that the design of coconut milk production machines with a power of 0.746 Kw using a 1 Hp power motor with 2850 rpm rotation, tube capacity of 10 liters per hour, tube torque in 25,812 Nm, shaft diameter 20 mm, clutch diameter 21 mm, bearing diameter 21 mm . The results of the design of coconut milk production machines with dimensions of length 600 mm, width 600 mm, and height 1200 mm Keywords— Coconut, coconut milk, component design, centrifugal force.

Abstract

AbstractNowadays, corrosion probem become one of the important problem for infrastructures over the world. Therefore, over the last decades, several corrosion reearch has been investigated. Several software have been developed to simulate corrosion that occurs on the reinforcing steel in concrete. The fundamental goal of the simulation is to predict the degree of corrosion that achieved. Many pioneering works allowed for the successful application of the boundary element method (BEM) to simulate the corrosion. This research aims to study the ability of Boundary Element Inverse Analysis (BEIA) in detecting corrosion that more than one location or known as Multi corrosion on the reinforcing steel in concrete. BEIA is a method that developed to detect corrosion in reinforced concrete. BEIA developed by combining the application of Boundary Element Method (BEM) and Multi-objective Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). BEM used to calculate potential values on concrete surfaces. Furthermore, PSO is used to evaluate the cost function to detect corrosion on reinforcing steel inside concrete. To execute BEIA, it requires several input parameters include the results of meshing and potential data from the field. However, in this case, the field potential data used is the result of the calculation of  BEM simulation with a mesh size of 4mm and assuming the location of corrosion is at X1 = 50 mm and X2 = 350 mm. The simulation results from BEIA show that the position of the particles at the 150th iteration is already at the specified location, at X1 = 50 mm and X2 = 350 mm, this proves that Multi-objective BEIA can simulate multi corrosion detection that occur on a concreted surface.. Keywords—Multi corrosion, BEM,  Multi-objective, BEIA, corrosion detection, reinforced concrete
