Abstract

This study aims to elaborate the shock of the stock market in early stage of Covid-19 pandemic. Indonesia’s condition which is currrently being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic affects the stock market and economic growth. Composite index has decreased as well as economic growth. This study uses a descriptive exploratory method, secondary data collected from BEI and Bappenas RI. The results of the study show that there has been a decline of share prices in all industrial sectors. The worst decline was in the property sector (-33,32%) and the lightest decline was in the consumer goods (-9,96%). Based on the results, recommendations were obtained for the government to accelerate stock market stability by increasing the number of aid recipients in the UMKM sector, conducting more intensive socialization regarding the dangerous and prevention of Covid-19, and providing relief to issuers who have loans; recommendations for issuers to maintain company performance by keeping employes from being infected from Covid-19 invection, maintaining employee performance, applying online technology in all fields; and recommendations for investors to implement the best strategy for investing by conducting fundamental and technical analysis, making the stock portfolios, selecting the business sectors, and looking for the latest information about issuers

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of servicescape and frontline service quality on customer satisfaction at Amanah Bangsa Sidamanik Sharia People's Financing Bank. This research uses quantitative research. In this research, a questionnaire was used to collect data, and 100 customers of the Amanah Bangsa Sidamanik Sharia People's Financing Bank were selected as samples using a simple random sampling method. Data analysis in this research is quantitative data analysis. Statistical tests known as Multiple Linear Regression Tests, T-tests, F-tests, and Coefficient of Determination (R2) are all components of this analysis, as well as the Classical Assumption Test. Based on hypothesis testing with the partial T test, it can be concluded that the Servicescape and Frontliner Service Quality variables partially have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Based on simultaneous F test hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the servicescape and frontline service quality variables together influence BPRS Amanah Bangsa customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of rewards and punishment on employee performance at PT. Indonesian Sharia Bank KCP Medan Pulo Brayan. The research method used is an associative quantitative method. And the sample in this study used saturated sampling, namely 32 people. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire which is tested for validity, normality and reliability. The dependent variable is the employee performance variable and the independent variables are Reward and Punishment. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, t-test, F-test and coefficient of determination. The results of the t test show that Reward (X₁) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Medan Pulo Brayan with tcount (3.609) > ttable (2.04523). Punishment (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Medan Pulo Brayan with t count (4.286) > t table (2.04523). And there is a significant influence of Reward and Punishment together on PT Employee Performance. Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Medan Pulo Brayan with Fcount (110.061) > Ftable (3.33) and Sig value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R) value is 0.876 or 87.6%. This means that the Employee Performance variable can be explained by the Reward and Punishment variables.

Abstract

Bank Sumut Syariah in Indonesia is a bank that carries out its business in accordance with Islamic principles. This research aims to determine the effect of reference interest rates and Financing to deposit ratio (FDR) on the distribution level of profit sharing from mudharabah deposits at PT. North Sumatra Sharia Bank. This research uses a quantitative approach, with the data source used is secondary data. This research uses secondary data and literature study from 2018-2022. Secondary data is a source of research data obtained by research indirectly through intermediary media (obtained and recorded by other parties). The analysis techniques used in this research include classical assumption test analysis, linear regression test, hypothesis test, namely the t test, F test and coefficient of determination (R2) using SPSS 20 software. The research results show that it partially explains the value of the interest rate. Reference and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) have a significant and positive effect on the distribution level of profit sharing from mudharabah deposits. Then partially explained that simultaneously the Reference Interest Rate (X1), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) (X2), had a significant and positive effect on the level of distribution of profits from mudharabah deposits at PT. North Sumatra Sharia Bank.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether knowledge, ease of use and usefulness of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (Qris) have a significant effect on the use of E-wallet among FEBI UIN North Sumatra students. The population used in this research were all active students in 2020-2021, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN North Sumatra, totaling 4,878 with a sample size of 100 respondents. The sampling technique in this research used Non Probability Sampling using Purposive Sampling. The research method used is a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis, and the data collection technique is carried out by distributing questionnaires. The results of this study show that knowledge has a significant effect on the use of e-wallets among Febi UIN North Sumatra students, ease of use has a significant effect on the use of e-wallets among Febi UIN North Sumatra students, and usefulness has a significant effect on the use of e-wallets among Febi UIN Sumatra students North. Knowledge, ease of use and usefulness have a significant influence on the use of e-wallets among Febi UIN North Sumatra students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Analysis of the Effect of Customer Trust on the Decision to Use Mobile Banking Through Perceived Risk as an Intervening Variable (Case Study on Mobile Banking Application Users at UIN North Sumatra Students). This study uses a quantitative approach. In this study, a questionnaire was used to collect data, and 100 students at UIN Sumatra Utara were selected as a sample using a purposive sampling method. Data analysis in this research is quantitative data analysis. Statistical tests known as the T-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination R2 are all components of this analysis, as are the path analysis tests. Based on the research analysis, it can be concluded that customer trust has a positive and significant effect on perceived risk, customer trust has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use, perceived risk has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use, customer trust has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use through perceived risk as intervening variable. This means that a high perceived risk in accordance with customer trust will lead to a high decision to use the mobile banking application. This result is important for Islamic banking to minimize the risks that will be felt. Through breakthroughs to improve the security of the mobile banking system, thereby maintaining customer trust which will have an impact on the decision to use mobile banking services.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis tingkat pola konsumsi dengan pendidikan pada mahasiswa yang ada di kota Medan. Peneliti menggunakan metode survey dan menyebarkan angket serta kuesioner kepada mahasiswa dengan pertanyaan yang sistematis dan yang berkaitan dengan pola konsumsi mahasiswa. Tingkat konsumsi mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh tempat tinggal atau kost mereka, serta perkuliahan yang padat menjadikan konsumsi mereka berbeda-beda. Rata-rata pola konsumsi mahasiswa bertaraf rendah, karena mereka bisa mengendalikan keuangan mereka yang baik.

Abstract

This study employs a quantitative method with linear regression analysis to investigate how marketing costs and product prices influence sales growth at Syanum Coffee in Aceh Tamiang. The independent variables consist of marketing costs and product prices. The dependent variable in this study is total sales obtained from sales over the past 36 months. With a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), the analysis strongly suggests that increased marketing expenditures lead to significant sales growth. Furthermore, product pricing also plays a significant role in influencing sales, as indicated by its 0.000 significance value (p < 0.05). This research recommends that Syanum Coffee continue to optimize marketing budget allocation effectively and consider pricing that is in accordance with consumer purchasing power to improve sales performance sustainably. In addition, the study’s findings reveal that despite a reduction in marketing costs during the observation period, sales continued to increase, suggesting that other indirect factors such as product quality, customer loyalty, or market trends may also contribute to sustained growth. The high R² value of 0.981 confirms that marketing costs and product prices jointly account for the vast majority of sales variation, reinforcing the strategic importance of these variables. By focusing on a local SME context, this study extends previous findings and provides practical implications for small businesses operating in competitive markets. The evidence underlines the value of targeted promotions and adaptive pricing strategies in boosting business resilience and market responsiveness. Ultimately, this research contributes meaningfully to the field of marketing strategy by offering data-driven guidance to decision-makers seeking long-term, sustainable sales growth through cost-efficient and customer-centric approaches.
