Abstract

Effective learning is greatly influenced by the availability and quality of the teacher material, the student worksheet (LKS), and the assessments' instruments supporting the learning process. This article discusses the development of the three components through sitematic library studies, with the purpose of gaining an in-depth understanding of their roles and relationships. The development of the teaching material emphasizes relevant aspects of selection materials, catchy and easy presentation, and media elections that suit students' needs. Various kinds of worksheet, ranging from that which helps discover concepts, apply and integrate matter, to as reinforcement and instructions of the practice, are described in detail. The learning assessments are described as a systematic process that includes goal fixing, evaluating instruments, data gathering and interpretation to assess the assessment of students' affective, cognitive, and psychosomatic aspects. Keywords: Teaching material, Student worksheet, Evaluation ABSTRAK Pembelajaran yang efektif sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan dan kualitas bahan ajar, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), serta instrumen evaluasi yang mendukung proses pembelajaran. Artikel ini mengulas pengembangan ketiga komponen tersebut melalui kajian Pustaka sitematis, dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai peran dan hubungannya. Pengembangan bahan ajar menekankan aspek pemilihan materi yang relevan, penyajian yang menarik dan mudah dipahami, dan pemilihan media yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Berbagai jenis LKS, mulai dari yang membantu menemukan konsep, menerapkan dan mengintegrasikan materi, hingga sebagai penguatan dan petunjuk praktikum, dijelaskan secara rinci. Evaluasi pembelajaran dijabarkan sebagai proses sistematis yang meliputi penetapan tujuan, pembuatan instrumen evaluasi, pengumpulan dan interpretasi data untuk menilai capaian aspek afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotorik siswa. Abstract

Mice are widely used in biomedical research due to their genetic similarity to humans, sharing 95–98% of genes. This study evaluates the benefits and challenges of using mice as laboratory models, focusing on genetic manipulation and ethical concerns. A review of recent scientific literature was conducted. Results show significant contributions to disease understanding and therapy development, but also highlight translational limitations and animal welfare issues. Emerging alternatives like computer models and organ-on-a-chip show potential. More ethical and sustainable approaches are needed for the future of biomedical research.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country rich in biodiversity, including various types of plants that have extraordinary benefits. One of the plants that is often underestimated yet holds great potential is cogongrass (Imperata cylindrica), especially its roots. This research aims to delve deeper into the various benefits of cogongrass roots, from health, economic, agricultural, to environmental aspects. The method used is a descriptive literature study by reviewing various relevant scientific literature sources. The study results show that alang-alang roots contain active compounds such as flavonoids, saponins, and tannins that have traditional medicinal properties, such as reducing fever, facilitating urination, and stabilizing blood pressure. In addition, the innovation of processing these roots into modern products such as chewing gum and herbal drink powder is considered to enhance their economic value. In the field of agriculture, cogongrass is also beneficial as organic mulch and a natural weed controller, and it can be used as a material for absorbing heavy metals in water. With its various advantages, the roots of cogongrass have the potential to become a natural solution that not only supports health but is also environmentally friendly. However, further research is still needed to ensure its safety and effectiveness as part of modern medicine. Keywords: cogongrass root, traditional medicine, herbal innovation, agriculture
