Abstract

This study is a response to the failure of moral education as a result of worldwide breakthroughs in science and technology, which have an effect on the entire human life system, including the world of education. In the realm of education, we should conduct moral development, of which one part, namely the aspect of honesty, has failed. This research seeks to establish the existence of shidq verses in the Qur'an and their relationship to moral education content. The method of research employed is descriptive analysis, with data derived from literature studies. According to the findings of the study, the shidq verses describe the virtues of mah easy or noble moral education material, which include faith, monotheism, piety, istaqamahan, patience, a willingness to sacrifice to seek Allah's pleasure, honesty, perseverance in worship, prayer, promise, and legal discipline. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the perceptions of non-Muslim students towards learning Islamic religious education in Class X at YPI Tunas Bangsa High School Palembang. The research method used is a quantitative method with descriptive analysis. The total population is four non-Muslim students in class X. The data collection technique uses interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique used quantitative analysis to find out the perception data of non-Muslim students towards Islamic religious education learning by describing its implementation analytically using the percentage model. The results show 1) non-Muslim students like to hear PAI teachers with alternative answers: strongly agree (75%) and agree (25%); 2) non-Muslim students enjoy reading Islamic religious books with alternative answers: strongly agree (50%) and agree (50%); 3) non-Muslim students pay attention to all islamic education activities with alternative answers: agree (25%), unsure (25%) and disagree (50%); 4) non-Muslim students feel that Islamic religious lessons are not boring with alternative answers: strongly agree (25%), agree (50%) and disagree (25%); 5) non-Muslim students find it challenging to do islamic education lesson assignments with alternative answers: strongly agree (75%) and agree (25%); 6) non-Muslim students find islamic education lesson very enjoyable with alternative answers: strongly agree (25%), agree (50%) and disagree (25%); 7) non-Muslim students feel islamic education lesson are easy to understand with alternative answers: agree (75%) and unsure (25%); 8) non-Muslim students are not happy with Islamic religious lessons with alternative answers: unsure (25%) and disagree (75%); 9) religious education provides benefits in the lives of non-Muslim students with alternative answers: strongly agree (25%) and undecided (75%). Based on the results of the questionnaire above, it can be concluded that Islamic religious education has been carried out well, and all students participate in classroom learning. Although non-Muslim students are not required to take Islamic religious lessons, non-Muslim students remain silent in class and often participate in Islamic religious studies.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to explain efforts to increase interest in reading by using picture story books as learning media for Kasih Ibu PAUD children. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques, namely observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the medium of picture story books could increase interest in reading in children. The process or steps for carrying out teaching and learning activities using the press of picture story books, namely, the teacher shows the picture story books that will be delivered to children that day according to the theme. The teacher invites children to have a conversation by providing stimulation through a few questions about picture stories. The teacher also introduces new vocabulary accompanied by meaning or understanding, not forgetting that the teacher offers encouragement and motivation in the form of encouragement or praise. The children in PAUD Kasih Ibu are also very enthusiastic about learning to read picture storybooks. It is essential to teach children an interest in reading and introduce letters from a young age, and it is recommended that schools and each school have a reading corner so that children's interest in reading is very high. Abstrak: Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan upaya meningkatkan minat membaca dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran buku cerita bergambar pada anak PAUD Kasih Ibu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui media buku cerita bergambar dapat meningkatkan minat membaca pada anak.  Proses atau langkah-langkah pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar menggunakan media buku cerita bergambar yaitu guru menunjukkan buku cerita bergambar yang akan disampaikan kepada anak pada hari itu sesuai dengan tema, guru mengajak anak-anak untuk bercakap-cakap dengan memberikan rangsangan melalui beberapa pertanyaan mengenai cerita bergambar, guru juga memperkenalkan kosa kata baru yang disertai arti atau pengertiannya, tidak lupa guru memberikan dorongan dan motivasi berupa ungkapan penyemangat atau pujiandan anak-anak di PAUD Kasih Ibu juga sangat antusias melakukan kegiatan belajar membaca buku cerita bergambar. Pentingnya untuk mengajari anak dalam minat membaca dan mengenalkan huruf-huruf dari usia anak sejak dini, dan dusarankan untuk pihak sekolah dan tiap sekolah harus memiliki pojok baca supaya minat anak dalam membaca sangat tinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of Islamic religious education on the cognitive development of middle school-aged children. The method that researchers use is qualitative research with a type of literature study. The library research steps to be carried out in this study include: a) preparing equipment; b) compiling a framework; c) managing time; d) reading and making research notes. In this study, data sources were obtained from relevant literature, such as books, journals, or scientific articles related to the selected topic. The data collection technique used in this library research is to find data about things or variables in the form of notes, books, papers or articles, journals, and so on. The research instrument used by researchers is a check-list list of research material classifications based on the focus of the study, writing schemes and maps, and research note formats. The data analysis technique used in this research is content analysis. The results of this study show that Islamic religious education teachers have a very important role in the cognitive development of children of middle school age. This is because middle school-age children in their cognitive development begin to be able to think abstractly, think critically, and have the ability to solve more complex problems. Reflective thinking ability. Creative thinking ability. For this reason, religious education teachers in schools who are developing students' cognitive skills need to use several strategies, namely providing examples to students, habituating positive activities every day at school, using creative teaching methods, giving advice, and finally, giving punishment.

Abstract

The challenges of education in this millennial era, especially in Indonesia, do not only refer to the classic problems of equalization and fulfillment of access, infrastructure and education financing, but also talk about the quality of graduates who must have qualified intellect in their fields while having high morality. Seeing these conditions, the availability of human resources with character is a very important need. This is done to prepare for global challenges and the nation's competitiveness, universities must be able to prepare a generation that has the ability and good character, thus the strategy of strengthening character education in learning carried out in lectures requires an integrated plan. The implementation of character education along with its monitoring and evaluation must also be prepared as optimally as possible. the concept of character education programmatically with a strategy that is mupuni such as the strategy of moral knowing, moral knowing, moral modeling, moral feeling ang loving, moral acting, punishment, habituation.
