Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Make-A-Match cooperative learning model on social studies learning outcomes on the topic of economic conditions in fifth-grade students at GKPS 2 Pematangsiantar Private Elementary School in the 2025/2026 academic year. The lack of varied learning strategies that stimulate student engagement was the primary motivation for this study. The Make-A-Match model was implemented to create an interactive learning environment through a matching game involving question and answer cards. The research method used a quantitative experiment with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design with 20 students. Data were collected through a validated multiple-choice objective test. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes; the average score jumped from 56.74 in the pretest to 91.26 in the posttest. Statistical analysis showed that the calculated t value (12.075) was greater than the t table, demonstrating the model's significant impact. It was concluded that the Make-A-Match model effectively increased student understanding and engagement. This model is recommended as an innovation for educators to create more dynamic and meaningful learning in the classroom. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Deep Learning approach on student learning outcomes in the subject of Natural Sciences (IPAS) on the water cycle in grade IV of UPTD SD Negeri 122399 Jl. Mawar Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The background of this study is based on low student learning outcomes, lack of student activity in the learning process, and the use of learning methods that are still teacher-centered. The Deep Learning approach is applied to create meaningful, reflective, and enjoyable learning so that students are able to understand the concept in depth. This study uses a quantitative method with a pre-experimental research type and a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of 28 grade IV students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation, and tests. The research instruments were pretest and posttest questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using normality tests, N-Gain tests, and hypothesis tests. The results showed that there was an effect of the Deep Learning approach on student learning outcomes in the subject of Natural Sciences. This was evidenced by the increase in students' average scores after being given treatment and the results of hypothesis tests that showed a significant effect. Thus, the Deep Learning approach can be used as an alternative learning approach to improve elementary school students' learning outcomes. Implementing this approach helps students engage in more active discussions, express their opinions, and connect learning material to everyday life. Therefore, teachers are advised to implement student-centered learning to improve quality in elementary schools.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi wordwall berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada pelajaran matematika materi bangun datar atau tidak. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian Pre-Eksperimental Design yang menggunakan desain "One Group Pretest Posttest Design" populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 091277 Siantar Estate yang berjumlah 26 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan pemberian tes. Kemudian di dapat jumlah skor pretest kelas eksperimen dengan nilai rata-rata 43,07 pots-test kelas eksperiment dengan nilai rata-rata 78,46. Maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Aplikasi Wordwall Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas V materi bangun datar di SD Negeri 091277 Siantar Etate. Hasil ini berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.
