Abstract

Multi-channel Analysis of Surface Wave (MASW) is one of non-destructive seismic methods that can be used to obtain the soil dynamic parameters, such as the shear wave velocity (VS) and the shear modulus (G). Indirect measurement of soil dynamic parameters can also be estimated by the empirical correlations of VS/G and NSPT values obtained from Standard Penetration Test (SPT). However, borehole test is required for SPT, which is relatively high cost and also may disturb in surrounding environment of investigated sites. Therefore, MASW seismic method then can be performed as alternative options in avoiding these problems. In this study MASW method was used to obtain the VS and G profile at several selected sites in Peninsular of Malaysia, i.e., Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Bangi campus, Selangor and Sungai Temala, Terengganu. The Rayleigh wave propagations are recorded using 24 geophones of 4.5 Hz resonant frequency connected to the seismograph. Subsequently, the seismic data is processed and analyzed to generate the VS profile versus depth in one-dimensional (1-D) and two-dimensional (2-D) form. In general, the shear wave velocity from MASW method measurements show reasonable agreements compared to the VS values obtained from empirical correlation of NSPT value. A good relationship between shear modulus from this study compared to empirical correlations of NSPT value from previous researchers. Finally, MASW method can be nondestructively used for identifying and validating subsurface soil condition of the investigated sites.

Abstract

Kale (Brassica oleracea var. sabellica) is a high-value vegetable that requires adequate lighting to support photosynthesis, especially when cultivated using a hydroponic system. This study aimed to examine the effect of LED lighting and reflector use on kale growth using the Deep Flow Technique (DFT). The research was conducted in September 2024 at the Horticultural Research Center, MARDI Serdang, Malaysia, using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments: 4 lamps (4L), 4 lamps with reflector (4 LMR), and 5 lamps (5L), each repeated five times for a total of 1,000 plants. Observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, chlorophyll content, and Leaf Area Index (LAI). The results showed that the 4 LMR treatment produced the best growth, with the highest number of leaves, the highest chlorophyll content, and good LAI values. The use of reflectors effectively increased light absorption efficiency and photosynthesis. In contrast, the 4L treatment showed the lowest growth due to poor lighting and nutrient deficiencies. Overall, the MARDI reflector proved effective in enhancing kale growth in a DFT hydroponic system.

Abstract

Membaca (qira'ah) merupakan proses menemukan bahasa. Bisa dilakukan langsung dengan cara anak-anak (akuisisi) untuk menemukan bahasa pertama, dan dapat juga dilakukan oleh orang dewasa yang mempelajari bahasa kedua dengan pembelajaran formal. Pengajaran-membaca metode adalah suatu sistem untuk dengan mudah menerapkan aktivitas yang berkaitan dengan masa kini subjek untuk menemukan makna dari teks bacaan. Tujuan mengajar membaca adalah menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan keterampilan membaca yang meliputi: mengenali simbol abjad atau huruf arab dan untuk memahami isi bacaan. Di dalam mengajar membaca, metodenya disesuaikan dengan jenis dan tujuan pengajaran sebagai metode parsial yang digunakan untuk mengenali simbol atau alfabet Arab yang ada kata majemuk, dan metode analisis digunakan untuk memahami bacaan konten dengan beberapa metode seperti; membaca nyaring, strategi teks acak, panduan membaca, membaca diam dll. Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil didapatkan di lapangan penelitian adalah dalam merancang pembelajaran ada beberapa komponen yang harus diperhatikan, yaitu kegiatan pembelajaran pendahuluan, penyampaian informasi, partisipasi peserta didik, tes, dan kegiatan lanjutan.pembelajaran Arab berdasarkan kemahiran berbahasa dibagi menjadi enam, yaitu strategi pembelajaran mufradat,  pembelajaran tarkib, strategi pembelajarn istima’, strategi pembelajaran kalam,  pembelajaran qira’ah, dan pembelajaran kitabah.

Abstract

Pengajaran Kitabah atau keterampilan menulis memainkan peran penting dalam pendidikan bahasa. Tujuan utama dari pengajaran ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa MTS kelas VII yang ada di Darel hikmah ekanbaru khususnya untuk mengekspresikan ide, perasaan, dan perspektif mereka secara tertulis. Tulisan  ini membahas definisi Kitabah, tujuan pengajarannya, strategi yang efektif dalam pembelajaran, dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam proses pengajaran. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat, diharapkan siswa dapat mengembangkan keterampilan menulis yang baik, meningkatkan kreativitas, dan mempersiapkan diri untuk berkomunikasi secara efektif dalam berbagai konteks. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, data yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunkan Teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan di sekolah MTS kelas VII Darel hikmah, Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pengajaran Kitabah sangat penting untuk membekali siswa MTS VII  dengan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di dunia modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan guru adalah keselarasan seluruh komponen pembelajaran yaitu pembelajaran Bahasa Arab secara sistematis, metode pengajaran yang digunakan sesuai bahan ajar Al-kitab, guru melengkapi media yang ada dengan membuat media sendiri, yang sesuai dengan sifat siswa. Penggunaan strategi pembelajaran seperti ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis arab siswa.

Abstract

The research is shaped Research Action (PTK). Level of critical thinking ability of studentsto Islamic Religion Education subjects still low. This is seen in the learning process ofstudents' critical thinking skills, which is now working on worksheets or student evaluationshave not been able to bring their own ideas. To improve critical thinking of Islamic ReligionEducation subjects skills at SDIT Raudhaturrahmah Pekanbaru, fourth grade be applied modeling Think Pair Share Cooperative Learning. The Subjects in this research is in fourthgrade and the samples are 25 students. That will be the saurce data to take the data it usedthe observation activities of teacher and students, and student’s ability in critical thinking of Islamic Religion Education subject. The highest average student’s ability in critical in critical thinking of Islamic Religion Education subject in first cycle it’s only get 60%, highest and lowest is 8%. While in the second highest cycle is 88% and the lowest is 48%. From the first and second cycle it. Can be seen that the implementation of cooperative learning model think pair share. Can improve students ability in critical thinking of science subject, it can be concluded that the hypothesis of this research that if the model is applied Think Pair Share Cooperative learning can enhance students' critical thinking skills of Islamic ReligionEducation at fourth grade students of SDIT Raudhaturrahmah Elementary School Pekanbaru.
