Abstract

Information technology is developing rapidly in all aspects of life and until now its application has created conditions conducive to community work. One of the activities that can now take advantage of information technology is e-voting in the election of the chairman and deputy chairman of the organization. SMK Nurul Huda Petir has more than 200 students. The democratic process of selecting the head of this school organization is still used manually. There will be many obstacles, namely data security risks, which will reduce learning time, and require large implementation costs. The problems that arose created an information system called e-voting. E-voting is a system for creating ballots, casting, counting, and displaying ballot results, and generating and maintaining audit trails electronically and digitally. This research aims to speed up, improve security, and reduce implementation costs in the process of election activities at Nurul Huda Petir Vocational School. The application development process-voting uses the method Waterfall with Unified Modelling Language (UML) for system design. System e-voting its build-based web with Framework Codeigniter and added an RFID sensor (Radio Frequency Identification). The results of this research found that the application of e-voting can reduce 80% of implementation costs, improve voice data security, and speed up the process of collecting and calculating voice data.

Abstract

Abstract Banten Jaya University has a website https://www.unbaja.ac.id which was created in 2018 to make it easier for students to access academic information. Although this website has grown rapidly over time, it does not yet provide campus weather information. Some official weather sites only cover sub districts, not taking into account campus locations. Therefore, this research develops an Internet of Things (IoT) based weather monitoring system using nodemcu and temperature, humidity and weather intensity data. This research uses the Waterfall Method and produces an effective tool that can monitor the weather situation on the Banten Jaya University campus using the DHT 11 sensor, LDR sensor and Raindrop sensor. This research is the first step in developing a weather monitoring system on campus.

Abstract

This study explores the design and development of applications to monitor student learning at TKQ Assyukuriyah. This research was conducted to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, which was previously carried out conventionally and faced several obstacles, including loss or damage to books, and the ineffectiveness of providing learning progress reports from schools to parents. The formulation of the research problem is how the application provides access to questions for students and makes it easy to record reports on the results of evaluations of learning progress using the iqro' and juz amma methods with safe data storage and how parents obtain information on learning progress. This research aims to provide easy access to questions for students, teachers record the results of evaluations of learning progress in reading using the iqro and juz'amma methods with secure data storage and make it easier for parents to obtain information on learning progress. Using the waterfall method for software development. The results of this research show that this application has succeeded in simplifying the process of recording monitoring of students' learning progress by storing data safely, reducing the time and energy of teachers in preparing questions, and making it easier to provide information on learning progress to parents. Abstract

The Facilities and Infrastructure Unit at Banten Jaya University (UNBAJA) plays a crucial role in supporting the institution’s operational and academic excellence. As the university grows, the need for efficient, accurate, and technology-driven systems becomes increasingly important, particularly in managing resources such as rooms, goods, and vehicles. Currently, the loan system for these assets is still conducted manually, relying on inventory logbooks and Microsoft Office tools. This conventional method often results in data redundancy, errors in data entry, and frequent conflicts in scheduling due to lack of real-time updates and validation mechanisms. To address these challenges, this research focuses on developing a web-based loan system designed to streamline and digitize the borrowing process for students, lecturers, and administrative staff. The system is built using the Agile development methodology, ensuring iterative feedback and continuous improvement. It utilizes PHP as the core programming language, with Laravel serving as the framework and MySQL as the database engine. The application design is modeled using Unified Modeling Language (UML) to provide clear and structured system architecture. Functionality and reliability are tested through the Black Box testing method, ensuring all system functions perform as expected. The implementation of this system significantly improves the efficiency of the loan process, enhances data accuracy, and facilitates better inventory and usage reporting. Additionally, the system enforces a First In, First Out (FIFO)mechanism, promoting fairness and orderliness in resource distribution. This digital transformation marks a strategic step in aligning UNBAJA’s operations with modern information technology practices.
