Blood is an important part of the body whose main function is to transport nutrients and materials throughout the body to achieve a homeostasis (balanced) state. Blood grouped into four groups, namely A, B, AB, and O. The purpose of this community service is as a medium to increase insight into the benefits of blood transfusions both for oneself and for recipients in need. This activity will be held on June 9, 2024 at Alaman Bolak Padangsidimpuan. The activities carried out began with health checks, blood donations and ended with the distribution of shopping vouchers. This community service uses a participatory model method. The results of this activity were obtained by 30 voluntary blood donation participants consisting of adolescents to adults and then 15 bags of blood products were obtained. This service is expected to be a medium for promoting independent health in the community so that public interest in donating blood increases

Nowadays,Tuberculosis is still a global health problem, especially in developing countries including Indonesia. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis which attacks the lungs. Although it is contagious, TB disease can be prevented by giving an explanation to the patient to cover the mouth with a handkerchief if coughing and not to spit or discharge phlegm in any place and provide a place to spit that is given recommended materials. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide education to Elementary School pupils and increase knowledge about good and correct cough etiquette as an effort to prevent pulmonary TB disease. The implementation method was carried out by giving lectures and brochure and banner media, the participant of this community service is the students of Elementary School Kamcar 03 Padangsidimpuan. The result of this activity is classified by the level of knowledge of elementary school students about the correct cough ethics. Before being given counseling, participant who classified as lack of those knowledge are 12 participants (70.6%), sufficient knowledge are 2 participants (11.8%) and good knowledge are 3 participants (17.6%). Students' knowledge increased after being given education to sufficient knowledge: 5 participants (29.4%), good knowledge:10 participants (58.8%) and lack of knowledge: 2 participants (11.8%). It can be concluded that there is an increase in the knowledge of elementary school pupils after being given education on the correct cough etiquette.

Getting enough sleep is essential for a child's physical, cognitive, and emotional development. The purpose of this community service is to provide counseling on the various benefits of adequate sleep for children, which include improving academic performance, emotional balance, and physical and mental health. Lack of sleep quality can lead to a decrease in hemoglobin levels which eventually leads to anemia Some studies have shown that quality sleep contributes to the consolidation of a child's memory, learning ability, and creativity. This counseling was carried out at SD Negeri 200103 using lecture, observation, question and answer methods. The media used is in the form of posters and banners. The results of this counseling activity show that pupils of 200103 State Elementary School have understood the benefits of getting enough sleep for children. After this counseling is carried out, it is hoped that it can increase the knowledge of elementary school pupils about the importance of enough sleep for children in order to achive a properly and good sleep without obstacles by applying what has been conveyed during the counseling in daily life.

The service was carried out with the aim of providing counseling to children at SD Negeri Tanobato Padangsidimpuan Utara Jl. Dr. Payungan Dalimunthe number 108 so that elementary school children can know the 5 important times to wash their hands with 6 steps. In this process, the counseling method used is demonstration, which is a way of presenting, understanding and discussing questions and answers that have been prepared. carrying out direct practice, this scene was attended by 34 2nd grade students at the 200113 Tanobato State Elementary School in Padangsidimpuan City. The results showed that 30% of the children were not used to washing their hands and did not know the 5 important times to wash their hands with 6 steps and 70% were in accordance with health standards. The students were able to demonstrate the 5 important times to wash their hands with 6 steps correctly and were able to explain how to keep their hands clean to improve body health.

Blood donation is an activity to take blood from voluntarily which will be stored in blood bank for blood transfusion purposes. Blood transfusion is an activity of transferring blood between donors to recipients with certain terms and conditions. It is necessary to treat the condition of lack of blood in one individual. The purpose of this community service was to add insight into the benefits of blood transfusions both for one's own person and for others in need. This activity was held on October 29, 2023 at the Padangsidimpuan Mayor's Office. The series of this activity were fun walk, health checks and blood donations. This community service used a participatory model. The results of this activity were obtained 70 voluntary blood donor participants consisting of adolescents to adults and then obtained 70 bags of blood products. Thus, this community service is beneficial as a medium for independent health promotion to increase public interest in donating blood

The menstrual cycle is the time from the first day of menstruation until the next menstrual period arrives, with a normal range of 21-35 days. One of the factors that influences the menstrual cycle is anxiety. The aim of this activity is to discuss menstruation and the menstrual cycle. The aim of this community service is so that WUS in Padangsidimpuan City community institutions understand how to fulfill the health of their reproductive organs. Women can understand what is actually happening to their bodies and then look for efforts to protect themselves or alleviate the disorders they are experiencing. If you often experience problems related to menstruation, you should immediately consult a specialist doctor, so that you can diagnose as early as possible what is causing the menstrual problem or disorder. The activity method that will be carried out in this community service is education/counseling. This activity was carried out at the Padangsidimpuan City Correctional Institution. The results of this counseling activity were continued by providing an evaluation to the participants, namely questions and answers regarding menstrual material and the menstrual cycle, participants were able to answer and explain well the questions asked by the instructor/presenter. The activity went well and the participants who took part in the activity looked enthusiastic in participating in the activity. Keywords: anxiety level, menstrual cycle

Dry skin is problematic skin, skin with insufficient and low water content. One easy and practical way to overcome this is to carry out cosmetic treatments using a clay mask with a formulation of carrot extract and rice flour. This research aims to obtain a clay mask preparation from carrot extract and rice flour. Carrot extract contains beta-carotene which is useful for protecting the skin from UV rays and is also rich in vitamin A and antioxidants which are very good for making skin brighter. Meanwhile, rice flour can help improve skin structure thanks to its abundant nutritional content, one of which is vitamin B and can help overcome external pollution and dirt and make skin look brighter. The ethanol extract of carrots and rice flour is formulated in the form of a clay mask with various extract formulations, namely 20%, 25% and 30%. The results of organoleptic testing, physical properties and stability tests of the mask preparations showed that no changes occurred in each formula, namely color, odor and shape during the storage process. All formulations obtained were homogeneous, the average pH was 5.58-6.73, the average spreading power obtained was 3.08-4.7 cm, the average sticking power obtained was 0.82-4.86 seconds, and the average -The average dry preparation produced was 6.21-19.02 minutes. The conclusion of this research is that carrot extract and rice flour can be formulated as a clay mask and are also stable during storage.

Fungi are one of the microorganisms that cause disease in humans. A disease caused by fungi in humans is called mycosis. Types of mycosis are divided into two, namely superficial mycosis and systemic mycosis. Superficial mycosis is an infection by fungi that spread on the surface of the body only, while systemic mycosis is an infection by fungi that attack the entire body. One type of pathogenic fungus is Candida albicans which causes canker sores, vaginal discharge, skin irritation to cancer. This study aims to determine the effect of guava leaf extract (Psidium guajava) on the growth of Candida albicans fungi. This type of research is purely experimental. Guava leaf extract (P.guajava) was obtained by maceration technique using 96% ethanol solvent. Inhibitory power testing of extracts using the Kibry-Bauer method with blank discs. Candida albicans was obtained from the Microbiology Laboratory of FMIPA USU. The results of the study obtained the diameter of the inhibitory zone of guava leaf extract against the growth of Candida albicans fungus 14.6 mm at a concentration of 100% guava leaf extract which is classified as a strong inhibitory zone criterion
