Abstract

Pecahan berurutan merupakan salah satu materi penting dalam pembelajaran aljabar yang digunakan untuk mempelajari materi yang lain. Namun, faktanya masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar pecahan berurutan disebabkan pembelajaran yang didominasi cara-cara formal sehingga hal ini tidak dapat mendukung pemahaman siswa tentang konsep pecahan berurutan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan aktivitas belajar yang menekankan pada pemahaman konsep daripada strategi formal. Peneliti merancang 3 aktivitas pembelajaran pecahan berurutan dengan menggunakan pendekatan PMRI.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi berupa Local Instrucstional Theory (LIT) tentang materi pecahan berurutan. Penelitian ini melibatkan pada siklus 1 melibatkan 6 orang siswa dan pada siklus ke 2 melibatkan 36 siswa serta seorang guru model di SMP Negeri 55 Palembang. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar kerja siswa, pre-test, post-test, video dan interview. Data dianalisis dengan cara membandingkan Hyphotetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) dan apa yang terjadi selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kartu pecahan dapat mendukung pemahaman siswa dalam memahami pecahan siswa dari tahap informal ke tahap formal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa PGSD di STKIP Muhammadiyah OKU Timur pada materi simetri melalui penggunakan media youtube. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD di STKIP Muhammadiya OKU Timur angkatan pertama pada tahun 2019-2020. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode yang meliputi pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai konsep dasat simetri pada mata kuliah geometri dan pengukuran pada saat semester genap. hal ini dapat dilihat melalui nilai tes yang dihasilkan pada tes awal pembelajaran  nilai tertinggi 70 dan nilai terendah 35 dengan rata-rata nilai 48 dan rentan nilai 35, pada  siklus I nilai kuis 1, nilai tertinggi 72 dan nilai terendah 40 dengan rata-rata nilai 55 dan rentan nilai 32 sedangkan siklus II, nilai tertinggi 95 dan nilai terendah 65 dengan rata-rata nilai 76 dan rentan nilai 30. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunakan media youtube dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa PGSD di STKIP Muhammadiyah OKU Timur pada materi simetri.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce a learning path that can help students understand the concept of percent using the context of an egg rack. This study used a design research method through the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education approach which was carried out at Elementary School No. 2 Gumawang, Indonesia. Data were obtained through observation, photos, video recordings, student activity sheets, and field documentation. The result of the research was a learning trajectory consisting of three activities; first, students explore their knowledge of egg racks which are very close to students' self-life, secondly, students change the problem into a bar form based on students' knowledge of egg racks, then students change the problem into fractions and students change the fraction with the denominator one hundred, third, students solve the percent problem in a more complicated form. The activities that have been produced and tested on percent learning using the context of an egg rack, can help students to better understand the concept of percent.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to provide knowledge to teachers and prospective teachers about preparing simple applications for assessing the learning process; provide guidance to teachers and prospective teachers regarding the preparation of simple applications in assessing the learning process; create a temporary special forum or forum for preparing simple applications for assessing the learning process; and provide motivation to teachers and prospective teachers regarding the preparation of simple applications in assessing the learning process. Participants in Community Service are teachers from partner schools or schools assisted by the East OKU Muhammadiyah Association, prospective teachers, and other participants from outside partner schools with a total of 115 participants. Activities were carried out using a workshop format via the zoom meeting application. The activity ran smoothly and the participants seemed enthusiastic about taking part in the workshop activities.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi, globalisasi, dan perubahan sosial menuntut sistem pendidikan untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat dan efektif. Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh sistem pendidikan saat ini adalah bagaimana memastikan semua siswa, termasuk anak berkebutuhan khusus, mendapatkan kesempatan yang sama untuk mengakses pendidikan yang berkualitas dan relevan. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendekatan inklusif dalam pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah dasar, dengan fokus pada strategi-strategi yang dapat membantu mereka menghadapi tantangan abad 21, Abad 21 membawa perubahan besar dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi Pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Berdasarkan pemamparan penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk memenuhi tantangan abad 21 ada bebrapa yang perlu diperhatikan dalam penerapan Pendidikan inklufi di Sekolah Dasar yaitu: Pertama, Prinsip dan Praktik Pendidikan Inklusif di Sekolah Dasar meliputi Diferensiasi Pengajaran, Kolaborasi Guru dan staff, dan Pelibatan orangtua dan staff; Kedua, Memahami tantangan abad 21 bagi Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus meliputi perkembangan teknologi, kebutuhan keterampilam abad 21, dan dinamika sosial. Ketiga, Peran teknologi dalam mendukung Pendidikan inklusif meliputi, Alat Bantu dan Perangkat Lunak Pendidikan, Alat Bantu dan Perangkat Lunak Pendidikan. Keempat, Metode Pengajaran dan Strategi Adaptif yang Efektif meliputi Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Pembelajaran Kooperatif, dan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek. dan Kelima, Kebijakan Pendidikan dan Dukungan Institusional meliputi Pelatihan dan Pengembangan Profesional Guru, Pembiayaan dan Sumber Daya, dan Kebijakan Anti-Diskriminasi. Pada penelitian selanjutnya, peneliti dapat secara khusus membahas tantangan ABK secara khusus dalam menghadapi tantangan abad 21.

Abstract

With the advancement of technology and computing capabilities of computers, various applications and algorithms that were previously not applicable to portable devices such as laptops and smartphones can now be applied. Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the increasingly popular techniques that are now a part of everyday life. AI is an umbrella term that refers to the simulation of human intelligence by machines that use big data to perform various tasks. AI has benefited many aspects of human life, including education. However, AI also has significant negative effects. This study aims to study the influence of artificial intelligence on students' critical thinking skills. This study uses qualitative research and literature analysis. However, the study also identified several negative impacts, including reliance on technology, unassured information quality, social isolation, and ethical and privacy concerns. Therefore, a balanced and strategic approach is needed in integrating AI in education to ensure that its benefits can be maximized, while its negative impact is minimized.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital semakin berkembang dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital, khususnya video pembelajaran dan PowerPoint, dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 Jaya Mulya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, di mana data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pemanfaatan media digital berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi serta pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran. Video pembelajaran lebih efektif dibandingkan metode ceramah karena menyajikan materi secara visual dan auditif yang menarik. PowerPoint juga berpartisipasi dalam menyusun materi secara sistematis dan interaktif. Namun, efektivitas penerapannya masih dipengaruhi oleh keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi serta ketersediaan infrastruktur di sekolah. Kendala utama yang ditemukan adalah keterbatasan akses internet dan perangkat yang tidak merata di kalangan siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan guru yang berkelanjutan serta peningkatan sarana dan prasarana pendukung agar pemanfaatan media digital dalam pembelajaran dapat lebih optimal.

Abstract

This development research was motivated by the low level of students’ numeracy skills and the lack of contextualized AKM-type questions that relate mathematics to students’ real-life experiences, particularly in agricultural settings. Therefore, this study aimed to develop AKM numeracy questions in an agricultural context for elementary school students, covering numbers, geometry and measurement, algebra, and data. The Tessmer development model was applied through the preliminary, self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small-group, and field-test stages. Preliminary findings showed high student interest in interactive, game-based numeracy questions. Draft I (20 items) was validated by four experts, achieving 78.3% (very valid) and revised to enhance content, context, language, and technical aspects. Practicality tests in the one-to-one (3 students) and small-group (9 students) stages reached 94.44% and 91.39%, respectively (very good), indicating ease of use and understanding. Field testing with 15 students resulted in an average score of 71.4 (good), with 13.3% achieving very good results. Interviews revealed that agricultural-context questions promoted critical thinking, though some students faced challenges. Overall, the agricultural context-based AKM numeracy instrument proved valid, practical, and effective, though findings remain indicative due to the pre-experimental design. Further studies using stronger experimental methods are recommended to confirm its effectiveness.

Abstract

This descriptive-qualitative study aims to discover factors that influence students' difficulties in solving non-routine problems. The researchers employed open-ended questions that had previously been developed by researchers, ensuring that they were valid, practical, and had potential effects. The researchers brought up this topic because non-routine questions can help students improve their mathematical skills. The study's approach consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and data analysis. The research subjects were 31 eighth-grade students from one of Belitang's junior high schools. Data was gathered through observation, interviews, and testing. Observation was utilized to collect data on the learning process, while interviews were used to understand more profoundly and directly about students' difficulties in addressing non-routine tasks. The test was then administered to assess students' ability to solve non-routine tasks. The data was evaluated qualitatively using descriptive analysis. Based on observation and interview data, several factors contributed to students' difficulty in solving non-routine problems, including the fact that students had never worked on non-routine problems during the learning process in class, and the teacher's book only contained routine problems. In relation to the foregoing, the exam results show that students' ability to solve non-routine problems remains poor, with as many as 58.07% receiving poor grades, 19.35% receiving moderate grades, and only 22.58% receiving good grades. With this research, it is envisaged that teachers will assign numerous non-routine tasks in class in the future, allowing students' mathematical abilities to be thoroughly developed.

Abstract

This research explored the application of the pluralistic method in mathematics learning in the classroom with students with diverse levels of academic skill. The pluralistic method is a learning approach that emphasizes the use of various methods and learning strategies tailored to the needs and characteristics of students. The subjects of this research were the students and teachers of Public JHS 01 BP Peliung, while the object of this research is the pluralistic method in mathematics learning. This study examines the application of pluralistic methods to enhance math learning among students from diverse academic backgrounds by combining qualitative and case study methods. The researchers analyzed the data through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This research began with observations conducted using a structured yet flexible observation guide to record classroom dynamics. The researchers then conducted semi-structured interviews with teachers and students to facilitate in-depth exploration. As the last step, the researcher made sure the data was correct by using data source triangulation techniques (observation, interviews, and documentation) and member checking. Member checking means getting confirmation from teachers or students about the research findings so the findings remain objective and free of bias during the data collection and analysis process. Finally, the researcher provided a contextual description of the conclusions. The research results show that the pluralistic method is effective in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts, learning motivation, and academic performance. This method also has a positive impact on students' attitudes and behavior. This research has practical implications for teachers and schools in improving the quality of mathematics education.
