Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs are commonly utilized by banks to strengthen their public image by fostering positive relationships with the community. These programs, especially in response to natural disasters and humanitarian crises, provide valuable opportunities for the banking sector to enhance trust and customer engagement. This study aims to investigate the impact of CSR initiatives on the reputation of Islamic banks. A quantitative research method was employed, utilizing a questionnaire distributed to customers, employees, shareholders, and other stakeholders involved in Islamic banking. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. The findings reveal a significant effect of CSR on the reputation of Bank Syariah Indonesia, specifically in the branches of K.C Bank Syariah and K.C.P Bank Syariah in Palopo

Abstract

Pembangunan Border Development Center (BDC) diharapkan membawa perubahan signifikan dalam infrastruktur, ekonomi, dan sosial pada masyarakat di perbatasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana perubahan tersebut mempengaruhi masyarakat lokal, terutama dalam aspek budaya dan sosial. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Dusun Aruk, Kabupaten Sambas, Kalimantan Barat, yang terletak di perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia, menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan Teori Culture Shock dari Samovar (2010). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi, dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat lokal mengalami kejutan budaya dalam beberapa fase antara lain, Fase Bulan Madu dimana masyarakat merasa gembira dan mengalami kesejahteraan ekonomi berkat adanya PLBN (Pos Lintas Batas Negara). Fase pesakitan, pada fase ini kemudahan awal digantikan oleh kesulitan, terlihat dari hilangnya pasar tradisional di titik nol perbatasan, kesulitan dalam menjual hasil pertanian ke Malaysia, peraturan karantina untuk hewan sebelum masuk ke Malaysia, dan perubahan gaya hidup remaja yang mulai mengonsumsi minuman keras seperti tequila. Fase adaptasi dimana masyarakat mulai beradaptasi dengan perubahan, ditandai dengan adanya pasar kaget yang menggantikan pasar tradisional. Terakhir, fase penyesuaian diri. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana masyarakat lokal menghadapi dan beradaptasi dengan perubahan besar akibat pembangunan BDC dan guncangan budaya yang mereka alami.Kata Kunci: Kejutan budaya, Masyarakat Perbatasan, Pembangunan BDC, Teori Culture Shock Samovar AbstractThe development of the Border Development Center (BDC) is expected to bring significant changes to the infrastructure, economy, and social aspects of the border community. This study aims to understand how these changes impact the local population, particularly in terms of cultural and social aspects. The research was conducted in Dusun Aruk, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan, located on the Indonesia-Malaysia border, using a qualitative design with Samovar's Culture Shock Theory (2010). Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations, and the data was analyzed descriptively. The results of the study indicate that the local community experienced cultural shock in several phases. The Honeymoon Phase, where the community felt joy and economic welfare due to the presence of the Border Crossing Post (PLBN). The Crisis Phase, where initial conveniences were replaced by difficulties, such as the disappearance of the traditional market at the zero border point, challenges in selling agricultural products to Malaysia, quarantine regulations for animals before entering Malaysia, and a change in youth lifestyle, including the consumption of alcoholic beverages like tequila. The Adaptation Phase, where the community began to adjust to the changes, marked by the emergence of a new market that replaced the traditional market. The Adjustment Phase, where the community became accustomed to the changes after a lengthy adaptation period. It provides insights into how the local community faces and adapts to the significant changes brought about by the BDC development and the cultural shock they experience.Keywords: Culture Shock, Border Communities, PLBN and BDC Development, Samovar’s Culture Shock Theory

Abstract

Palm oil mill effluent is a type of organic agro-industrial waste from the by-product of the processing of fresh oil palm fruit bunches to produce Crude Palm Oil. The management of POME as biogas is an added value for companies to meet the needs of energy sources in the Palm Oil Mill, both for Crude Palm Oil, Kernel Crushing Plant, and domestic needs as a source of electrical energy. POME is a colloidal suspension containing 95-96% water, 0.6-0.7% oil and 4-5% fat and total solids. Anaerobic degradation of POME is the main stage in the biogas production process at the Sei Pagar Palm Oil Factory. The ambient temperature was measured at 08.00, 13.00, and 18.00 for 11 days of testing. To analyze the effect of ambient temperature on sample temperature, a sample temperature test was carried out using a pH meter for each ambient temperature test. To analyze the impact of ambient temperature on the flow rate of gas produced and methane content in biogas, the sensor flow rate was checked with the valve at the reactor outlet fully open. The ambient temperature of the reactor does not change the sample temperature because the temperature in the reactor is controlled by the feed entering the reactor. The average temperature of the reactor environment is lower than the reactor so that it does not affect the gas flow rate (biogas formation process). Abstract

In the medical world, commercial practices in kidney organ transplantation often occur, with economic motives as the background. This practice is prohibited by positive law, both at the national and international levels, as well as by Islamic law. There are differences of opinion between positive law and Islamic law in regulating organ transplantation. Therefore, the author will discuss the legal regulation of kidney organ transplantation from the perspective of positive law and Islamic law. This study aims to analyze the legal regulation of kidney organ transplantation from the perspective of positive law and Islamic law, as well as the application of sanctions for perpetrators of illegal transplantation and preventive measures that can be taken. The method used is normative juridical legal research with a legislative and conceptual approach. The data sources used include primary, secondary, and tertiary data. The results of the study indicate that kidney transplantation must be carried out voluntarily, without coercion or compensation. The practice of organ trafficking is prohibited by positive law and Islamic law. However, there are differences between positive law and the views of the four schools of thought; positive law allows healthy donors, while the schools of thought prohibit transplantation in healthy or dying conditions. This study recommends that the government prevent organ trafficking by improving the economic welfare of the community.

Abstract

Standard operational procedures are a device that regulates the stages of a work process or certain work processes. These work procedures are carried out based on written documents which are referred to as standard operating procedures (SOP). The purpose of this SOP is to explain the details or fixed standards regarding the work activities carried out. Repeatedly held within an organization or company. This research is motivated by the current competition between financial institutions, especially between banks, so PT. Bank Sumut Medan Syariah Branch uses a customer service strategy in order to make customers interested in using the services of the financial institution PT. Bank Sumut Medan Sharia Branch, this is implemented by customer service in order to provide good service to all customers, service is divided into two, namely new and existing customers. The focus of this research is on three things, namely, 1). What are the standard operating procedures (SOP) at PT. Bank Sumut Medan Sharia Branch?, 2) How do standard operating procedures (SOP) apply to PT Customer Service. Bank Sumut Syariah Medan?, 3). What are the results of implementing standard operating procedures (SOP) at PT. Bank Sumut Medan Sharia Branch?. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study type of research. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection methods using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Based on the results of research conducted at PT. Bank Sumut Padangsidempuan Sharia Branch, services provided by PT. Bank Sumut Padangsidempuan Syariah Branch is more or less the same as the general service standards of fulfillment, guarantee, reliability, empathetic responsiveness, excellent service used. By PT. Bank Sumut Padangsidempuan Syariah Branch uses services in accordance with the SOP service standards that have been published by the company which are always updated so that the SOP used is always relevant. This SOP emphasizes excellent service in two things, namely appearance and attitude.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk dapat menumbuhkan pemahaman profil pelajar pancasila terhadap guru PKn SMP/MTs Se-Kota Parepare dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah yaitu dengan melaksanakan “Seminar Pendidikan”. Seminar Pendidikan dilakukan dengan memberikan materi dan contoh projek tentang menumbuhkan pemahaman profil pelajar pancasila dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka, hal ini dilakukan dengan membantu guru PKn agar dapat mengimplementasikan kepada peserta didik. Seminar Pendididikan ini efektif dalam menumbuhkan pemahaman profil pelajar pancasila terhadap guru yang sesuai dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Dalam proses pengabdian ini pemateri memberikan penguatan materi pemahaman profil pelajar pancasiladan proses berbasis profil pelajar Pancasila yang berguna dalam memperdalam dan menambah pengetahuan mengenai profil pelajar pancasila. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan dapat menumbuhkan pemahaman guru tentang profil pelajar pancasila, sehingga dalam lebih menumbuhkan kualitas guru terhadap pemahamannya tentang profil pelajar pancasila. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam menumbuhkan kualitas pemahaman profil pelajar pancasila terhadap guru PKn di SMP/MTs Se-Kota Parepare. Pemahaman profil pelajar Pancasila agar dapat membantu guru untuk bisa mengimplementasikan kepada peserta didik, sehingga bisa dengan lebih baik mengimplementasikan terhadap kurikulum merdeka. Dari hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian terhadap guru PKn di SMP/MTs Se-Kota Parepare menumbuhkan pemahaman profil pelajar pancasila melalui seminar Pendidikan. Melalui pengabdian ini penulis mengajak untuk menyebarluaskan mengenai profil pelajar Pancasila dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji tentang strategi dan inovasi dalam mengelola sampah di Kafe Rantiang yang berlokasi di Jalan Parkit, Kota Padang. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengn pemilik kafe serta studi literatur untuk menemukan strategi dan inovasi yang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ditemukan. Tujuan penulisan ini untuk menggali strategi dan inovasi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengelola sampah terutama sampah yang ada di Kafe Rantiang dalam meminimalkan dampak lingkungan dari limbah sampah yang dihasilkan.  Penelitian  ini  memberikan  wawasan  mendalam  tentang  bagaimana  strategi  dan inovasi dapat menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan model pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan di sektor usaha kuliner. Implikasi temuan ini dapat memberikan inspirasi dan panduan bagi pelaku usaha serupa serta pemerintah daerah dalam upaya mencapai tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas IX SMPN 10 Parepare melalui penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran TaRL dan model PBL. Jenis penyidikan ini merupakan penyidikan gugatan kelompok gabungan dan akan dilakukan dalam dua siklus penyidikan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMPN 10 Parepare yang berjumlah 25 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi penyebaran angket keterampilan kolaborasi untuk menilai keterampilan kolaborasi siswa, lembar observasi untuk mengamati keterampilan kolaborasi siswa selama proses tindakan pembelajaran, dan monitoring peningkatan hasil belajar meliputi post-test dan pembagian LKS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan TaRL dengan model PBL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Pada tahap pra siklus persentase keterampilan kolaborasi sebesar 62%, Siklus I sebesar 72%, dan Siklus II sebesar 87%. Terkait peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, angka ketuntasan belajar sebesar, dengan tingkat ketuntasan pada siklus sebelumnya sebesar 70%, pada siklus 1 sebesar 88%, rata-rata kelas sebesar 81,82, dan pada siklus II tingkat ketuntasan mencapai 96% dan rata-rata kelas adalah 89,6.
