Abstract

Digital transformation in Islamic banking has driven the development of cardless cash withdrawal services as an effort to enhance transaction convenience and flexibility for customers. However, the decision to use this service is influenced by various perceptual factors. This study aims to analyze the effects of efficiency, convenience, risk, and trust on customers’ decisions to use cardless cash withdrawal services at Bank Syariah Indonesia and Bank Aceh Syariah in Aceh. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 respondents who are active mobile banking users. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that, partially, convenience and trust have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use cardless cash withdrawal services, while efficiency and risk do not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, all variables have a significant effect on usage decisions. These findings suggest that customers’ decisions are primarily influenced by service convenience and the level of trust in the security and reliability of digital Islamic banking services.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly influenced consumer behavior, particularly among Generation Z, who are closely connected with e-commerce and digital tools. This study aims to analyze the influence of e-commerce and digital skill on the consumptive behavior of Muslim Generation Z in Banda Aceh. A quantitative approach was used through a survey of 100 purposively selected respondents. Data were collected via online questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that both e-commerce and digital skill have a positive and significant influence on consumptive behavior, both partially and simultaneously. E-commerce measured by cost efficiency, platform reputation, and transaction ease contribute to impulsive buying behavior. Digital skill including the ability to assess digital information, use social media, and engage in online transactions also increases consumption tendencies, particularly in the absence of ethical awareness. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.637 indicates that 63.7% of the variance in consumptive behavior can be explained by the two variables. These findings are crucial in the context of Muslim communities, where excessive consumption contradicts Islamic values such as tabzir (wastefullness) and israf (extravagance). The study suggests promoting Islamic-based digital literacy to balance technological competence and consumption control.

Abstract

The concept of halalan tayyiban in Islam emphasizes not only the permissibility of food (halal), but also its quality, safety, and wholesomeness (tayyib). In practice, however, Muslim consumers often rely mainly on the halal label when choosing food. The increasing availability of UPF, GMO, and products containing artificial additives raises concerns about the health implications. This situation has encouraged the growth of healthy lifestyle movements, especially among Muslim women as primary decision-makers in household food consumption. This study aims to explore the perceptions of Muslim women who adopt a healthy lifestyle toward halal-labelled foods in relation to the concept of halalan tayyiban. A qualitative descriptive method was used by collecting data through open-ended online questionnaires from 30 Muslim women. The data were analysed thematically. The findings show that the halal label is viewed as a basic requirement but not a guarantee of tayyib. Participants also consider BPOM registration, ingredients, nutritional information, and labels such as organic and non-GMO. They tend to focus more on production processes and ingredient origins in relation to health. These results imply the need for stronger transparency in halal certification and increased ethical consumption awareness.
