Abstract

Technological development has a huge influence on the social, economic, cultural and even educational fields, especially in mathematics subject. Mathematical communication skills of students obtained in mathematics learning help train students to solve problems in everyday life. Based on our survey, mathematical communication skills of students are still relatively low, this is evident in learning to solve applied mathematics problems. Students tend to have difficulty expressing their ideas in solving problems. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills in class X-A MA Al Fattahiyyah by learning numbered head together. Class Action Research refers to John Elliot's model is proposed in this research. Subjects are students of class X-A MA Al Fattahiyyah. Data collection techniques were written tests and documentation. While the research instrument was a test of students' mathematical communication skills. Research results show that the use of numbered head together can improve students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe an overview of headmaster in the development of an self regulated learning curriculum. This research is a qualitative research with literature study method. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model. Research data obtained from documentation. The findings of the study indicate that: (1) the principal performs the role of supervisor and leader of change in his educational institution, (2) the independent learning curriculum is a student-centered educational program planning, where the education unit has autonomy in curriculum development, (3) the principal Schools have a strategic role in the curriculum development process.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat seperti saat ini, masih ada masyarakat yang membedakan kesempatan peran perempuan dan laki-laki. Khususnya pada daerah-daerah tertinggal yang memiliki keterbatasan pengetahuan sehingga perempuan belum bisa berdaya secara penuh. Adanya diskriminasi ini disebabkan karena pemahaman kesetaraan gender belum berkembang merata pada masyarakat itu. Penyebab sulitnya menerapkan kesetaraan gender diantaranya budaya patriarki atau warisan turun temurun, pola asuh, posisi perempuan dalam keluarga, keseimbangan antara keluarga dan pekerjaan, dan pembatasan dalam organisasi. Diskriminasi peran perempuan dan laki-laki ini mempengaruhi perkembangan peradaban masyarakat. Perempuan bisa berkontribusi terhadap kemajuan suatu ekosistem tidak hanya laki-laki. Kebaruan pengetahuan pendidikan merupakan tanggungjawab bersama melalui peran dari setiap masyarakatnya. Untuk mengembalikan pemahaman yang belum merata terkait peran perempuan ini, salah satu upaya yang bisa dilakukan adalah mengadakan sosialisasi kesetaraan gender pada masyarakat. Sosialisasi ini diharapkan dapat membuka stigma positif masyarakat untuk menerapkan kesetaraan gender dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sehingga, masyarakat bisa berkerjasama dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan  masyarakat.

Abstract

The positive image of educational institutions is formed because of public trust, especially users of educational services who are satisfied with the provision of education they receive. Providing quality education will have an impact on the satisfaction of users of educational services. The method used in writing this study is literature. This research is a type of research that collects data from literature. The data collection technique in this research is documentation, namely looking for written sources that contain information on the topic being discussed. Educational institutions, especially elementary schools, must always create, develop and maintain quality educational services, so that they are able to survive as educational institutions that are oriented towards the needs of educational service users. In the era of society 5.0, elementary schools must be able to solve various social challenges and problems by utilizing educational innovation and technology. To ensure the quality of comprehensive and sustainable education delivery, managerial supervision is required. The use of this technology has an impact on making education easier to access, can reach a wider range of educational service users, makes it easier for students to achieve their competencies, and stimulates students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Berbagai permasalahan tengah dihadapi oleh dunia pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini dan manajemen strategi seharusnya dapat menjadi alternatif jalan keluar dari permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut. Permasalahan utama MA Al Fattahiyyah adalah belum dapat mengoptimalkanstrategi dalam menghadapi persaingan dan mengupayakan jaminan mutu yang berkelanjutan.Namun, selamaini pelatihan yang dilakukan dapat dikatakan belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan sekolah sebagai unit satuan penyelenggara pendidikan dilihat dari perspektif manajemenstrategi. Adanya pengabdian ini ditujukan sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas pengajaran danpembinaan nonakademik di lingkungan sekolah tersebut. Pelatihan berfokus pada pengembangan metode pembelajaran kreatif di bidang olahraga, seni, dan organisasi serta pelatihan untukmeningkatkan soft skills guru dalam memotivasi dan membimbing siswa. Metode dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang menitikberatkan pada partisipasi aktif peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan. Hasil pengabdian ini yaitu terealisasinya pelatihanmanajemen strategi guru dalam meningkatkan prestasi nonakademik siswa di MA Al FattahiyyahTulungagung. Pelatihan ini dianggap sesuai dengan kebutuhan guru dalam menyusun strategi untuk meningkatkan prestasi murid. Terlaksananya kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat dandampak yang besar bagi guru dan juga lembaga MA Al Fattahiyyah khususnya dalam hal manajemen strategi. Melalui penerapan manajemen strategi, sekolah dapat membuat keputusan dengantepat untuk merealisasikan rencana yang nantinya merujuk pada tujuan sekolah.

Abstract

The acceleration and optimization of an individual's development can surpass that of their peers, with disparities emerging from age-related, genetic, dietary, and environmental factors. A profound understanding of human development serves as a crucial foundation for comprehending an individual's needs and character, particularly among elementary-aged children. Defined as those aged 7-12 years or encompassed within the educational system, this demographic necessitates a thorough examination of their cognitive development. Cognitive development constitutes an extensive domain that encompasses various thinking abilities, such as reasoning, memory, problem-solving, ideation, and creativity. Consequently, the present study embarks on a substantive and comprehensive analysis of the cognitive development of elementary-aged children, elucidating its implications for pedagogical practices and learning activities within primary educational institutions (SD/MI). The overarching objective of this research is to ascertain the cognitive development levels of children aged 7-12 and beyond, further exploring the subsequent ramifications on teaching materials, strategies, models, and learning methodologies. The anticipated outcomes of this scholarly inquiry are twofold: to augment the existing body of knowledge accessible to the general public and to provide a valuable resource for educators as they fulfill their pedagogical obligations. By investigating the subject matter through a literary or library research approach, this study engages in data collection and information synthesis derived from various sources housed within libraries.

Abstract

Changes in the learning system caused by adjustments to conditions and needs during the pandemic, as well as gaps in the use of digital platforms, have an impact on strengthening learning loss and learning gaps. Educational programs and learning processes focusing on student needs will reduce learning loss. Effective curriculum management is encouraged to meet the resources students need so that learning gaps do not occur in educational institutions. This research aims to analyze Merdeka curriculum planning in high schools for guidance for other schools facing similar challenges regarding Kurikulum Merdeka planning amidst educational changes in Indonesia. This research was designed using a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The research began by collecting, processing, analyzing, and compiling a report. The research results explored Kurikulum Merdeka's planning at SMA Negeri 1 Kalidawir. Planning is the first step in realizing curriculum management. The Merdeka curriculum planning stages at SMA N 1 Kalidawir began with forming a special team, understanding information from the Merdeka curriculum guide from the government and resource persons, holding House Training (IHT), and then developing KOSP (educational unit operational curriculum). AbstrakPerubahan sistem pembelajaran yang disebabkan penyesuaian kondisi dan kebutuhan saat pandemi, serta kesenjangan penggunaan platform digital berdampak pada menguatnya learning loss dan learning gap. Program pendidikan dan proses pembelajaran yang fokus pada kebutuhan peserta didik akan mengurangi adanya learning loss. Pengelolaan kurikulum yang efektif didorong untuk memenuhi sumber daya yang dibutuhkan peserta didik sehingga tidak terjadi learning gap pada lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perencanaan kurikulum merdeka pada sekolah menengah atas, supaya dapat memberikan panduan bagi sekolah-sekolah lain yang tengah menghadapi tantangan serupa terkait perencanaan kurikulum merdeka di tengah perubahan pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini didesain menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian dimulai dengan mengumpulkan data, mengolah data, menganalisis data, dan menyusun laporan. Hasil penelitian mengeksplorasi perencanaan Kurikulum Merdeka di di SMA Negeri 1 Kalidawir, perencanaan merupakan langkah awal dalam mewujudkan pengelolaan kurikulum. Tahapan perencanaan kurikulum merdeka di SMA N 1 Kalidawir dimulai dengan pembentukan tim khusus, memahami informasi dari panduan kurikulum merdeka dari pemerintah dan narasumber, mengadakan In House Training (IHT), kemudian mengembangkan KOSP (kurikulum operasional satuan pendidikan).Kata Kunci: Kurikulum Merdeka; manajemen kurikulum; perencanaan kurikulum
