Abstract

One way to access information is to use a website. A web application is an application that can be accessed from a web browser via the Internet or an intranet network. This development resulted in a lot of user traffic affecting website performance, so that the term client-side rendering emerged, although currently server-side rendering is still proven to be faster, but the popularity of frameworks that use client-side actually ranks first. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to design two websites where both frameworks use the Javascript programming language, named ReactJS for the client-side and NextJS for the server-side.

Abstract

The increase in YouTube users and increasingly popular content creators or what we call influencers has opened up a lot of new potential in product marketing. Smartphone product review content on YouTube is one example of content that can influence consumers' purchasing intentions. This research aims to analyze the influence of smartphone product reviews on YouTube on purchase intentions in Indonesia. The research will be carried out using quantitative methods with case studies on the Gagetin channel and the Jagat Review channel. The data collection method will be carried out by distributing questionnaires in the form of a Google form to 183 respondents for each channel. The collected data was then analyzed using SPSS, Python code, and SEM AMOS. The research results show the same results between the Gadgetin channel and the Jagat Review channel, namely that smartphone product review content on YouTube has a significant influence on consumers' purchasing intentions. The effectiveness of product review content on YouTube will certainly provide new options, especially for new smartphone brand, in promoting their products.

Abstract

Emergency response in Batam City, an area with high urban mobility and dynamics, is often hamperedby slow reporting mechanisms. Residents must contact different numbers for each service in differentareas, such as the fire department, ambulance, or police, causing confusion and wasting valuable time, especially in panic situations. The absence of an integrated system specifically creates significantinefficiencies in emergency service response. This study aims to design and develop an integrated mobileapplication that serves as a tool to accelerate the reporting and handling of emergency conditions andpublic utility services in Batam City. The methodology used combines the Design Thinking approach, which ensures that solutions are designed based on the real needs and experiences of users, with the AgileScrum method, which allows for a flexible and iterative development process. This research successfullyproduced a functional application that was then comprehensively tested. Functionality testing using theUsability Testing Method showed that all core features worked well, were valid, and performed asexpected. To measure usability, a System Usability Scale (SUS) test was conducted, resulting in anexceptional score of 88.82. This score places the application in the “Excellent” category, with an“Acceptable” user acceptance rating, indicating a highly intuitive and easy-to-use interface. The mainconclusion is that the developed application has proven to be highly viable, functional, and well-receivedby users. This application shows significant potential as an effective tool for improving the speed andefficiency of emergency service responses, and could serve as a model technological solution for publicservice integration in the City of Batam.

Abstract

Existing SSL/TLS automation tools were largely server-centric and required host-level configuration. These limitations increased complexity in distributed and multi-domain environments. This study proposed a centralized web-based SSL certificate automation system. The system integrated the Cloudflare DNS API and ZeroSSL REST API for certificate lifecycle management. The research adopted the Agile Scrum methodology during system development. An asynchronous queue-based architecture was implemented to support concurrent certificate issuance. The architecture reduced API rate-limit constraints. Automated Domain Validation (DV) was successfully performed through DNS integration. The system centralized certificate storage and monitoring. The interface simplified administrator operations. Configuration errors were reduced during certificate deployment. Operational efficiency was improved for distributed infrastructures. A usability evaluation was conducted with 25 technical practitioners. The evaluation produced a System Usability Scale mean score of 83.5 with a standard deviation of 6.7. The findings indicated excellent user acceptance and system usability. In conclusion, the proposed system effectively automated SSL certificate management through a centralized and usability-oriented approach. The system also minimized operational overhead and dependency on host-level configuration.

Abstract

Abstract

Information asymmetry in the offline retail market imposes substantial "search costs" on purchasing professionals, who frequently lack visibility into real-time product availability across physical stores. Existing solutions, such as generic store locators, fail to provide inventory context, while traditional e-commerce platforms are unable to meet immediate, same-day procurement needs due to logistical delays. This research addresses this gap by developing a Real-Time Location-Aware mobile artifact aimed at optimizing offline procurement efficiency in Batam City. Grounded in Design Science Research (DSR), the system employs a short-polling architecture implemented via Expo (React Native), Express.js, and PostgreSQL to ensure data freshness. Technical performance testing validated the system's "Near Real-Time" capabilities, achieving an average API response time of 180 ms and a stable synchronization interval of 5 seconds under 4G network conditions. Furthermore, a usability evaluation involving 40 purchasing professionals yielded an average System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 71.81, categorizing the application as "Good." These results empirically demonstrate that lightweight polling architectures can effectively mitigate cognitive load and search latency, offering a scalable software engineering solution for the "Offline-to-Offline" (O2O) retail sector.
