<![CDATA[School institutions in Batam have problems in how the events they conduct can support the school's operational effectiveness. The solution model for these problems is to build web-based event systems using the dynamic systems development (DSDM) method. This system aims to solve problems that occur in event scheduling at activities carried out at school institutions in Batam. The school representative used is a school in Batam. The method is done by learning and the feasibility of case studies, model functionality, design, and implementation. This implementation produces a system that is very helpful in processing data and reports during the event. Starting from the registration of the event, the continuity of the event, until the completion of the event, all can be stored in detail. Besides users, there are also managers and administrators. Managers have a role to manage the data entered by registrants, while administrators give access to each user account and maintain system security. This system is divided into 2 roles with one as a user and one acting as an administrator. Registrants to participate in this event act as users. The results of this study are that school operational effectiveness increases after implementing this web-based event system.]]>

<![CDATA[In improving the education and teaching process by lecturers in tertiary institutions, learning is carried out using Blended Learning technology. Blended learning is a collaboration and / or a combination of learning that has a traditional nature (learning by doing face-to-face) and learning by utilizing technology or what is referred to as e-learning. The application of Blended Learning technology in universities in Riau Islands province has been carried out in several universities in the city of Batam. Previous research states that there are problems in the application of Blended Learning technology. This study examines how the Acceptance of Blended Learning Technology by Students in the city of Batam with the Unified Theory of Acceptance and use of Technology (UTAUT) method. In carrying out this research activity a quantitative approach is used with a causalistic explanatory research research design. The results of this study reveal that business expectations, performance expectations, social influence, and facility conditions together affect the independent variable Blended Learning Technology Acceptance. <![CDATA[Sistem infromasi geografis atau SIG adalah sebuah sistem geografis yang sudah banyak digunakan, terutama oleh wisatawan atau turis. Pada penelitian ini, SIG digunakan untuk memetakan desa Sembulang dengan tujuan untuk mempromosikan tempat wisata yang ada di desa Sembulang kepada wisatawan, baik dari dalam negeri maupun dari luar negeri. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem informasi geografis ini dapat menarik pengunjung ke tempat wisata desa Sembulang. Sistem ini dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemograman HTML, Javascript, serta CSS dan menggunakan beberapa aplikasi bantuan seperti XAMPP dan Sublime Text Editor.]]>

<![CDATA[The automotive industry in Indonesia has suggestively increased during the past several years, thus drives people with the desire to own private transportations, in which positively correlates to generate huge markets in repairing and maintenance works. Meanwhile, lots of automobile owners have troubles in selecting workshop due to their either lack of available workshops’ information or even due to services being provided by workshops. The goal of FiXHER is solving the problems stated. By providing detail information to their very door step in application mobile platform, is believe to be able to minimize breakdown and improve productivity for both automobile owners and workshops. With the help of agile methodology, scrum model, FiXHER mobile application is maintained in its best way and finished before estimate times.]]>

<![CDATA[Perkembangan teknologi telah meningkat sangat cepat di berbagai aspek, salah satunya ialah teknologi Augmented Reality (AR) dibidang pendidikan. Proses belajar mengajar yang sering diterapkan masih mengadopsi buku dan gambar 2D dianggap kurang menarik sehingga siswa menjadi cepat bosan. Dengan pemanfaatan teknologi augmented reality, pembuatan media pembelajaran menjadi semakin menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa karena mereka bisa membayangkan model 3D secara realtime dengan menggabungkan dunia nyata dengan dunia virtual yang ditampilkan melalui smartphone. Rancangan aplikasi augmented reality dibuat dengan memanfaatkan perangkat lunak Unity 3D dan perancangan model 3D menggunakan perangkat lunak Marvelous Designer kemudian pemberian design tampilan dan texture pada pakaian adat tradisional menggunakan perangkat lunak adobe photoshop. Tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini adalah merancang sebuah aplikasi media pembelajaran augmented reality berbasis android sebagai pengenalan pakaian adat tradisional di Indonesia dalam bentuk object 3D dengan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang diharapkan dapat membantu mempermudah siswa dalam mempelajari berbagai macam pakaian adat tradisional di Indonesia. Hasil dari pengujian aplikasi ini menunjukan bahwa aplikasi media pembelajaran ini layak digunakan sebagai alat peraga dalam proses belajar dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang pakaian adat tradisional di Indonesia.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of Information Technology for the information center on the COVID-19 web in Batam city and the COVID-19 web in Indonesia, must be supported by IT Governance which describes the most important factors in the use of IT. In addition, the development of the internet also supports the use of computers. The data on the two websites may still not be used as the main reference data due to differences in data from the national web version and Batam City, also because the data obtained are not aligned and do not intersect, it can cause errors in reporting the data that has been collected in such a way. In this study, an Information System Audit will be carried out with the process of collecting and also evaluating evidence about the accuracy of the available information to determine the level of suitability of the information with the audit standards that have been set and express the results of the examination, based on the information system audit standards. The results of the assessment of aspects of the security system, design, navigation, mobile friendly, speed, content quality and keywords of the two websites show that it is very worthy to say that it is very good.]]>

<![CDATA[Racism is a belief that signifies the biological difference between the human race in cultural culture or individually, that a certain race is more dominant than other races. Racism can occur anywhere and can disturb someone so that the victim will feel inferior to their race. The training method used in this research is to make observations for examples of realization with data techniques using observation through the google form. The results of this study were carried out because there is often a process of racism that is deliberately carried out because the process of changing the environment of Batam International University students is then carried out through socialization through the Instagram social media platform, making clothes with writing to stop racism and making stickers and key chains.]]>

<![CDATA[Promosi merupakan salah satu usaha yang sering di gunakan dalam suatu perusahaan oleh pemilik bisnis untuk menaikkan suatu penjualan. Media promosi memiliki berbagai ragam seperti : promosi melalui media sosial, brosur, poster, standing banner, iklan dan lain sebagainya. Dengan menggunakan promosi dalam suatu bisnis akan meningkatkan penjualan karena dengan adanya promosi maka konsumen akan menjadi tertarik dengan suatu barang yang sudah di promosikan dalam perusahaan tersebut. Alasan penulis tertarik melakukan implementasi terhadap CV Barokah Utama tentang promosi adalah kurangnya upaya promosi yang dilakukan oleh CV Barokah Utama sehingga tidak terlalu dikenal oleh publik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan yang merupakan penelitian yang fokus pada masalah-masalah yang ada di dalam masyarakat agar memberikan manfaat yang tepat sasaran. Hasil penelitian yaitu penulis menghasilkan video promosi berupa company profile dan juga akun media sosial di instagram yang bernama @barokahh_utama. As we know, developments in the current era of globalization have not been spread evenly and have not been done well. There are some people who might still not be able to understand the diversity and reversal that we must unite so that Indonesia is not divided as our motto, "Unity in Diversity" which means different but still one. Therefore, we were sent to carry out community service activities with the theme of uniting Indonesia's diversity in the era of globalization. This activity is intended to unify the diversity that exists in Indonesia with top priority in the city of Batam.
