Abstract

Padendang Dance is a series of traditional Mappadendang ceremonies, which have the characteristics of movement, costumes and property. So that the uniqueness can be seen from the form of padendang dance choreography. This research aims: (1) Reviewing the Origins of Padendang Dance in Bugis Community in Soppeng Regency (2) Reviewing the form of Padendang dance choreography in the Bugis community in Soppeng Regency. This research uses a qualitative research approach with phenomenological design. The research site in Abbanuangnge Village of Soppeng Regency. Data collection techniques with observation techniques, interviews and document studies. Data analysis techniques from Jannet adshead start from discribing, discerning, interpreting, dan evaluating. The first research results, the origin of padendang dance and the second form of choreography of Padendang dance consisting of three parts, the beginning, the core and the final part. The beginning includes the variety of motion mappakaraja and sere describe respect and request permission to the audience / community. The core part includes motion maggalattungeng (dancer attractions), mengampo bine, mattaneng, masssangki, Which describes the activities of the farming community. The final part Mappatabe’ request permission and apologies to the community if there is a mistake in the performance of Padendang dance. The message conveyed remains grateful and maintains a sense of togetherness and the appearance in question is the implementation of padendang dance at night supported by moonlight and the place of implementation that is laid out carpet and decorated with yellow janur. The advice that can be conveyed is that the community continues to preserve Padendang dance and increase public interest / appreciation of Padendang dance. By maintaining keorisinal without reducing the variety of Padendang dance movements so that the depiction of Padendang dance message can be conveyed. There is a need for coaching in schools to attract young people who have the potential in developing Padendang dance.

Abstract

The objective of the research are find out whether or not the use of Probing- Pompting Technique improves te students reading comprehension and student interest at the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 4 Pancarijang. His research employed pre- experimental method with on group pre-test and post-test design. The population was Theeighth grade student of SMP Negeri 4 Pancarijang in academic 2014-2015. Total number of population was 66 student consist of 3 classes and one class (VIII.2) was taken as sample by using cluster sampling techniquetotal of sample 20 students’. The research instrument are reading test an questionnaire. The result this research showed that the pre-test got the mean score (56.00) while the post-test goat mean score (69.00). This showed that there was significant difference between pretest and posttest. The result of the t-test value (5.378) was higher than t-table (2.093). This mean that H1was accepted. The researcher concluded that teaching reading comprehension by using probing-prompting increased the students’ ability in reading comprehension of SMP Negeri 4 Pancarijangand the mean score of the questionnaire was 84.75 categorized as a strongly interested. The researcher concluded that teaching reading comprehension by using probing-prompting improve the students’ ability in reading comprehension at the eighth grade SMP negei 4 Pancarijang

Abstract

In this era of globalization, there needs to be a balance between education and appreciation of local wisdom with the ability to adapt in an increasingly integrated world. One way that can be done is through culture-based projects, such as traditional Nusantara dance training. The implementation of the Project for Personal and Social Responsibility (P5) with the theme of Local Wisdom through Nusantara Dance Training at SMKN 9 Wajo, aims to increase student creativity while introducing them to cultural diversity. This project integrates traditional dance learning with the development of student creativity within a broader cultural framework. This project shows an increase in student appreciation of local culture as well as a better understanding of cultural diversity at the global level. Data were collected through observation and interviews, then analyzed descriptively. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental design to assess the impact of Nusantara dance training in the Project for Personal and Social Responsibility (P5) on the creativity and understanding of diversity of SMKN 9 Wajo students. The results showed a significant increase in student motivation mastery, highlighting the effectiveness of game-based learning in creating a fun and interactive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of culinary products and its influence on improving family economy in the Al-Iman Uluale Islamic Boarding School environment, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The method used is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The sample in this study was 38 families involved in culinary businesses in the Islamic boarding school environment.The results of the study showed that a marketing strategy that includes four main elements of product, price, place (distribution), and promotion (4P) has a significant effect on increasing sales. The simple linear regression test produced a coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.619, which indicates that the marketing strategy contributed 61.9% to improving family economy. This finding indicates that an effective marketing strategy can increase family income and welfare in the Islamic boarding school environment.This study emphasizes the importance of product innovation, competitive pricing, easily accessible distribution, and active promotion, including the use of social media, in expanding the market and supporting the economic independence of families based on Islamic boarding school communities.
