Abstract

Lansia pasca stroke memerlukan pendampingan dalam perawatannya di rumah. Keluarga usia produktif menjadi alternatif utama sebagai pelaksana pendampingan tersebut, sehingga perlu diberikan edukasi untuk dapat melaksanakan tugasnya dengan optimal serta menjadi support sistem bagi lansia pasca stroke. Optimalisasi peran keluarga usia produktif ini dilakukan dengan program edukasi terkait dengan penyakit stroke dan perawatan pasca stroke bagi lansia di Umbul Brintik, Kebonarum, Klaten. Umbul Brintik merupakan salah satu pilihan terapi pasca stroke yang dipercaya masyarakat dengan kadar air ber-PH tinggi. Edukasi dilaksanakan dengan metode diskusi, tanya jawab, demontrasi dan redemonstrasi pendampingan lansia pasca stroke. Program ini diikuti oleh 30 peserta usia produktif yang mendampingi lansia pasca stroke dalam perawatan di rumah. Pemahaman keluarga usia produktif tentang penyakit stroke dan perawatan lansia pasca stroke meningkat, dibuktikan dengan jawaban peserta pada sesi evaluasi, sehingga dapat disimpulkan peran  keluarga  dalam  pemenuhan  kebutuhan  lansia pasca stroke sebagian besar pada kategori baik. Program edukasi ini perlu dilakukan secara konsisten dan periodik sebagai upaya optimalisasi peran keluarga dalam pendampingan lansia pasca stroke.

Abstract

Background: Patient-centered care, or PCC, has been recognized as a crucial pillar supporting both patient safety and healthcare quality. PCC must be monitored and evaluated, and reporting or documentation must be used as a communication mechanism. To determine the effectiveness of health care implementation, an assessment system is put in place. Purpose: To evaluate the implementation of PCC at a type C private hospital. Methods: A descriptive analytical design was applied in this study with a population of 385 inpatients. In this study, 97 respondents or 25% of the population participated as samples, chosen through purposive sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire containing eight PCC indicators, namely patient choice, communication of information and education, coordination of services, moral support, physical comfort, involvement of family and loved ones, continuity and transition, and access to services. Percentage formulas was used in this study. This research has been declared ethically approved with document number 1117.1/RSPWDC/LP/KEPK/VIII/2023. Results: The dimensions of choice appreciation, moral support, physical comfort, continuity and transition, coordination, and integrated patients included in the good category as many as 97 respondents (100%), dimensions of family involvement and the closest people to patients included in the good category as many as 94 respondents (96.9%), and the dimensions of communication, information, and patient education included in the good category as many as 72 respondents (74.2%). Conclusion: The evaluation of the implementation of PCC implementation at a type C private hospital is in the good category.

Abstract

Leadership has various ways to influence members in carrying out tasks to achieve predetermined goals. Effective leadership can motivate and encourage nurses to be actively involved in their work, enabling them to complete tasks efficiently and achieve improved work results. Initial research indicates that nurses on duty primarily fulfill their roles because they follow instructions from their leaders. This study aims to identify the relationship between effective leadership styles of the Head of the Ward and the Work Behavior of Nurses in Private Hospitals in Yogyakarta. The method used in this study is quantitative with a cross-sectional study approach. The sampling technique employed is purposive sampling, with a total of 88 nurses serving as respondents. Through the Spearman rank statistical test, a p-value of less than 0.001 with a significance of α=0.05 was obtained, which indicates a relationship between the Leadership Style of the Head of the Ward and the Work Behavior of Nurses in Private Hospitals in Yogyakarta, with a correlation coefficient of 0.752, indicating that the relationship is very strong.

Abstract

 Tugas pertumbuhan yang muncul pada masa dewasa muda mencakup penguatan prinsip kehidupan dan perkembangan emosi. Kematangan emosional sangat penting bagi mahasiswa karena berpengaruh pada kemampuan dalam menghadapi tantangan, baik dalam bidang akademis maupun kehidupan pribadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keterkaitan antara kematangan emosional dengan proses belajar mahasiswa keperawatan di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskripsi korelasional dan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi yang diteliti berjumlah 88 orang dengan 88 mahasiswa sebagai sampel. Metode yang digunakan adalah total sampling, dan alat ukur yang dipakai adalah kuesioner untuk mengukur kematangan emosi serta prosespembelajaran dengan analisis data menggunakan statistik pada α 0.05. Temuan dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta, yaitu 70 orang, berusia antara 20 hingga 21 tahun, dengan mayoritas adalah perempuan yakni 72 orang. Dalam aspek kematangan emosi, sebagian besar responden yaitu 82 orang termasuk dalam kategori cukup, sedangkan untuk proses pembelajaran, mayoritas atau 58 orang berada dalam kategori baik. Hasil dari uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan P-value sebesar 0.003.
