Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi Province is often haunted by various kinds of disasters. In the last 3 years, the city of Kendari and its surroundings has experienced earthquake activity ranging from large to low scale, causing unrest for the community. Soropia sub-district is located in the coastal area, whose activities, the people are in the coastal area. Making this area very vulnerable to earthquakes and tsunamis. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of disaster simulation on students' knowledge of SDN 1 Soropia about earthquake and tsunami disaster preparedness. With the number of respondents in this study amounted to 86 respondents. The type of research used is a quantitative study with a pre-test and post-test design approach and analyzed using the paired T-test, but previously the data was tested for normality using the Kolmogorov Smirnof test. From the test results before the disaster simulation was carried out, it was found that the respondents said it was ineffective as much as 89.5% and effective as much as 10.5%. Meanwhile, after the disaster simulation was carried out, it was found that 91.9% of respondents said that the disaster simulation was effective for disaster preparedness. Meanwhile, 8.1% said that disaster simulation was not effective for disaster preparedness. From the results of the bivariate test, a p value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, so it was concluded that disaster simulation was effective for disaster preparedness. The advice given to the local government is to empower the local community to be active in disaster preparedness.

Abstract

Abstract Children affected by the pandemic may experience the most vulnerable effects, as they are forced to stay at home for such long periods of isolation. All of this has a negative impact on children's mental health and well-being, which causes various kinds of mental health problems, such as anxiety, stress, depression, difficulty sleeping and lack of interaction with other friends. This can hinder growth and development which can eliminate children's opportunities to regulate stress, and cause children social isolation. The purpose of this study was to determine the post-Covid-19 response and its impact on children's mental health: an exploratory study using the Mood and Feelings Questionnaire-Self Report (MFQ-SELF). This study uses a cross-sectional method using non-probability aims to examine a phenomenon through hypothesis testing. Data collection was carried out at two schools, namely SDN 70 Kendari and SDN 39 Kendarii. Convenience sampling techniques were used to select research respondents. Data collection used the Mood And Feelings Questionnaire-Self Report (MFQ-SELF) questionnaire. The research results obtained a p-value = 0.017 where α < 0.05, indicating that there is a significant relationship between the Post-Covid-19 Response and the Mental Health Impact of School-Age Children Using the Mood and Feelings Questionnaire-Self Report (MFQ-SELF)) in SD Negeri 70 Kendari City and SD Negeri 39 Kendari City Based on the results of this research, the mental health of school age children needs to be one of the elements included in the nursing care process that will be provided by nurses. Keywords: Mental Health; MFQ-SELF;covid-19; Children Abstrak Anak-anak yang terkena pandemi dapat mengalami efek yang paling rentan, karena mereka terpaksa tinggal di rumah untuk waktu yang begitu lama pengisolasian. Semua ini berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan dan kesejahteraan mental anak-anak, yang menyebabkan berbagai macam masalah kesehatan mental, seperti kecemasan, stres, depresi,kesulitan tidur dan kurangnya berintraksi Bersama teman sebanyanya.Hal ini dapat menghambat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang dapat menghilangkan kesempatan anak untuk mengatur stres, dan menyebabkan anak isolasi sosial. Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Respon Pasca Covid-19 Dan Dampaknya Terhadap Mental Health Anak: Studi Eksplorasi Menggunakan Mood And Feelings Questionnaire-Self Report (MFQ-SELF). Penelitian ini menggunakan cross-sectional menggunakan metode non-probability bertujuan untuk meneliti suatu fenomena melalui uji hipotesis. Pengambilan data dilakukan di dua Sekolah yaitu SDN 70 Kendari dan SDN 39 Kendarii.Tehnik Convenience sampling digunakan untuk memilih responden penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Mood And Feelings Questionnaire-Self Report (MFQ-SELF). Hasil penelitian di peroleh nilai p-value = 0.017 dimana α < 0,05, menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara Respon Pasca Covid-19 terhadap Dampak Mental Health Anak Usia Sekolah Menggunakan Mood And Feelings Questionnaire-Self Report (MFQ-SELF)) di SD Negeri 70 Kota Kendari dan SD Negeri 39 Kota Kendari Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka mental health anak usia sekolah perlu menjadi salah satu unsur yang dimasukkan dalam proses asuhan keperawatan yang akan diberikan oleh perawat . Abstract

Abstract The group of dasawisma women in the Petoaha coastal area of Kendari City consists of 2 partner groups, namely dasawisma RW.4 and RW.5. This can be seen from the fact that marine products in the form of fish produced in Petoaha sub-district have not been developed properly. The limited diversification of processed fish means that profits have not yet been made through fish-based food preparations so that they do not yet have sales value. The aim of this research is to ensure that local women have knowledge regarding training in making dim sum based on tuna fish. This research design is pre-experimental with a one group pre-test, post-test design. This research was conducted in Petoaha sub-district with a sample size of 30 respondents. Sampling was carried out using a proactive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of training in making tuna dim sum (thunnus) on increasing the knowledge of young women in Petoaha sub-district. Keywords: Petoaha Coastal Area Women's Group, Empowerment; Tuna Fish; Dim Sum Abstrak Kelompok ibu-ibu dasawisma wilayah pesisir Petoaha Kota Kendari yang terdiri dari 2 kelompok mitra, yaitu dasawisma RW.4 dan RW.5. Hal ini dilihat dari hasil laut berupa ikan yang dihasilkan di kelurahan Petoaha belum dikembangkan dengan baik. Diversifikasi olahan ikan yang masih terbatas mengakibatkan belum diperolehnya keuntungan melalui olahan pangan berbahan dasar ikan sehingga belum mempunyai nilai jual, tujuan penelitian ini agar ibu-ibu dasawisma memiliki pengetahuan mengenai pelatihan pembuatan dim sum yang berdasar bahan ikan tuna . Desain penelitian ini pre experiment dengan rancangan one grop pre tes post tes. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelurahan Petoaha dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik proversif sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh pelatihan pembuatan dim sum ikan tuna (thunnus) terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu-ibu dasawisma kelurahan petoaha Kata kunci: Kelompok Ibu-ibu dasawisma wilayah pesisir petoaha, Pemberdayaan; ikan tuna; Dim sum

Abstract

Nutritional status is a measure of success in meeting children's nutritional needs as demonstrated through attainment of weight for age. The incidence of malnutrition in the Amonggedo Community Health Center, Konawe Regency is 10.86% of children under five in 2021. This research aims to determine the socio-economic relationship and feeding patterns on the nutritional status of children under five. This research is quantitative research with a Cross-Sectional Study approach. The population in this study was 276 mothers with toddlers. The sample for this research was 73 mothers of toddlers. The sampling technique used was Cluster Random Sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and 24-hour food recall forms. The data were analyzed statistically using the chi-square test. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between the socioeconomic and nutritional status of toddlers with a p-value of 0.036 <0.05 with a phi coefficient test of 0.279, which means a moderate relationship, and there was a relationship between feeding patterns and nutritional status of toddlers with a p-value of 0.006 <0.05 with a phi coefficient test of 0.351 which means the relationship is moderate. The conclusion from the results of this research is that socio-economic and feeding patterns are related to the nutritional status of toddlers in the working area of the Amonggedo Health Center, Konawe Regency. Suggestions from the results of this research are that mothers of toddlers should provide more nutritious food and sufficient energy for their children.

Abstract

Background: Educational services aimed at children of all ages are still not fully open, and teaching and learning activities from elementary grades onward are still being provided alternately offline and online. More than 2.2 billion children in the world, which is about 28% of the world's child population, experience changes in mental health. COVID-19 has affected the lives of children and young people like never before. Children may be more vulnerable than others to the psychosocial effects of a pandemic. This can hinder children's growth and development, eliminate children's opportunities to manage stress, and cause social isolation. This study aims to look at the relationship between post-COVID-19 impacts and the mental health of school-age children using the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI). Methods: This research is a cross-sectional study using a conclusive research design aimed at examining a phenomenon through hypothesis testing. Data collection was carried out at 38 Public Elementary School, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. The convenience sampling technique is used to select research respondents. Data collection used the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI) questionnaire. Results: The results of the study obtained a p-value of 0.000 where 0.05, indicating a significant relationship between post-Covid-19 responses and the mental health impact of school-age children using the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI) at 38 Public Elementary School, Kendari City. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, the mental health of school-age children needs to be one of the elements included in the nursing care process that will be provided by nurses.
