Abstract

Online news is a report about an event that is presented online by a news publishing company through an online news portal. Manado News is a news portal that presents news online which is divided into several categories. This study aims to analyze the data on news titles on the Manado News online news portal, Legal and Criminal category, to find out the crimes that are rampant and reported on this news portal. The analysis is carried out by implementing one of the methods in topic modeling, namely Latent Dirichlet Allocation. This method is used to find the topic of discussion in a document with a large capacity and displays the words that appear the most in a topic. The data needed for modeling was obtained by scraping on the online news portal Manado News, with a span of five years, from April 2017 to April 2022. After the data was processed using the Latent Dirichlet Allocation method, one topic of discussion was found, namely conventional crime groups. The topic contains a number of words which are types of crime in the conventional crime category, namely, persecution, theft, murder, stabbing, motor vehicle theft, sexual abuse and liquor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan media pembelajaran Problem Posing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI TKJ SMK Negeri 5 Manado pada mata pelajaran Komunikasi Data, setiap siklus dilakukan berapa tahap yaitu: tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan desain dua siklus dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan ujian/tes praktek berdasarkan materi pembelajaran Komunikasi Data Sampel terdiri dari kelas XI TKJ sebanyak 13 siswa. Proses penelitian ini berlangsung dengan 2 siklus dan 8 tatap muka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentasi ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus 1 sebanyak .60,38%. Setelah dilakukan siklus 2, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 86,53%. Karena hasil belajar meningkat pada siklus 2 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan media pembelajaran Problem Posing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Komunikasi Data siswa kelas XI TKJ di SMK Negeri 5 Manado.

Abstract

The process of collecting data on the attendance of teachers and employees at GMIM 2 Tondano Elementary School still uses manual methods and has not been computerized both in taking attendance data to the process of recapitulating attendance data. Based on this, this research aims to design and develop an attendance system by applying face recognition technology. An agile software development method with scrum framework is used to develop the system, this system uses the Viola-Jones algorithm to perform face detection, and uses the Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) algorithm for face recognition. With a test distance of 1 meter the ViolaJones algorithm gets an accuracy result of 100% and for a distance of 2 meters gets an accuracy result of 0%. Local Binary Pattern Histograms (LBPH) algorithm, getting 100% accuracy for 40 tests with 4 different face samples with a testing distance of 1 meter between the camera and the faces. Based on the results of the tests, it can be concluded that the face recognition-based attendance system was successfully developed for use by teachers and employees at GMIM 2 Tondano Elementary School.

Abstract

Data is a collection generated from various media used by humans. DNA data is a form of data, which is data in the form of genetic code text to store biological identities and characteristics of living things. This study used DNA to test the similarity level of North Sulawesi pigs. The method used is the Pairwise Sequence Alignment method. With sequences of different DNA lengths, the researcher implemented the Needleman-Wunsch algorithm for alignment. Matching is used using the BioPython module, which is in pairwise2. And this study produces a model and proportion of the similarity level of North Sulawesi Pigs that can be used as future references for biological research on molecular biology or for the field of informatics in implementing Needleman-Wunsch algorithm in Python, or references and additional knowledge for research in Bioinformatics.

Abstract

The Covid-19 what is usually known as the Corona virus, is a very dangerous virus which has killed thousands and even more people every day. One of the simple ways to fight this virus is to wear a mask when you are out of the house. This study aims to design a 3D game that can educate children about the importance of masks during the current pandemic. There are also several quizzes related to Covid-19 in this game. Not only quizzes that educate about Covid-19, there are also several math quizzes that are expected to hone the user's numeracy skills. This game has gameplay that is not difficult and easy to understand for children and adults, considering that the target users of this game are children aged 8 to 12 years who are still too new to understand prevention methods Covid-19 during this pandemic. The research method used in this study is the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method. The results of this study is a 3D educational game application "Ucul Si Pejuang Covid" which can be run on a PC as a means of education for children.

Abstract

Abstract— The criminal document management application is designed to assist in the delivery of court decision excerpts, the scheduling of court sessions, the detention of the court chairperson, and the detention of judges from the Tondano District Court to the Prosecutor's Office (Minahasa, Tomohon, South Minahasa), Correctional Institutions (Minahasa, Tomohon, South Minahasa), and the delivery of search warrant decisions, extension of detention permits, and seizure permits to the Police (Minahasa, Tomohon, Southeast Minahasa). The purpose of this research is to design, build, and develop a web-based criminal document management application at the Tondano District Court, aiming to facilitate employees in managing and delivering each case decision efficiently. This system aims to provide fair legal services to seekers of justice. The criminal document management application utilizes extreme programming methodology and the CodeIgniter framework. The programming language used is PHP, and MySQL serves as the database. Access to this application is restricted to administrators appointed by the criminal junior clerk of the Tondano District Court, the Prosecutor's Office administrator, the Police administrator, and the Correctional Institution administrator.

Abstract

    Teknologi, dari waktu ke waktu mengalami perkembangan dan pertumbuhan yang sangat pesat. Hampir setiap harinya dalam sistem teknologi pasti ada pembaharuan sistem yang dilakukan. Untuk itu, sebagai manusia harus siap menghadapi perkembangan teknologi. Pada saat ini, Saat ini kita tidak bisa lepas dari adanya teknologi di sekitar kita. Seperti penggunaan teknologi digital yang sudah memengaruhi interaksi sosial antar manusia. Adanya media sosial, salah satu bukti perkembangan teknologi yang semakin hari semakin memudahkan manusia dalam melakukan aktivitasnya. Sekretariat Dinas Ketahanan dan Pangan memiliki arsip yang manual dan harus di akses melalui perangkat keras yang ada di Kantor Dinas Pangan, Sehingga tidak efektif dan fleksibel ketika kita membutuhkan data tiba-tiba dan tidak mudah untuk harus kembali lagi ke kantor hanya untuk melihat data tersebut Maka berdasarkan penjelasan dan permasalahan yang ada di atas, dengan adanya aplikasi arsip ini sesuai dengan judul “APLIKASI ARSIP DAN PENYIMPANAN SURAT MENYURAT BERBASIS WEBSITE, Kantor Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dapat dengan mudah mengakses data, arsip yang dibutuhkan untu tujuan baik dari Dinas Ketahanan Pangan. Aplikasi ini menawarkan kemudahan untuk Kepala Dinas dan Sekretariat, maka dari itu aplikasi ini harus dibutuhkan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Abstract

Abstract

This study focuses on developing an automatic Indonesian sign language (SIBI) recognition system using a convolutional neural network (CNN). Sign language is essential for communication among deaf and hard-of hearing individuals, and automatic recognition helps improve accessibility and inclusivity. CNNs are chosen for their ability to learn image features automatically, eliminating manual extraction and improving classification accuracy. The SIBI dataset used contains 5,280 images of 26 letters, divided into training and validation sets. In early training, the model achieved low accuracy (3.63% training, 3.33% validation), but after five epochs, it significantly improved to 97.58% for training and 100% for validation.
