Abstract

The development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia requires support from the Indonesian government at all levels, beginning with the village government. This assistance can only be provided in an effective manner if the governing body of the village is comprised of village officials who possess a strong and dependable work ethic. In order to accomplish this objective, the apparatus of the village will require management of its human resources. This study's objective is to investigate the evolution of village apparatus human resource management and its bearing on the expansion of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. This investigation takes a qualitative approach and makes use of descriptive research methods. According to the findings of the study, village apparatuses have the potential to advance micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) by reforming the bureaucracy in the village with human resource management. The process entails planning, recruitment, selection, training and development, as well as performance evaluation and evaluation of progress. Regarding the development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), the local government of the village can act as a facilitator, a regulator, or a catalyst, each of which has a very significant influence.

Abstract

Background. According to Presidential Regulation No. 88 of 2021 on the National Strategy for the Elderly, elderly individuals are those aged 60 and above. Solitary elderly individuals face various complex issues, including limited social support, mobility restrictions, healthcare neglect, safety risks, and insufficient access to information and technology. In 2021, 6.75% of Kudus Regency's population was elderly, with a 0.72% increase from 2018 to 2021. Notably, two solitary elderly individuals were found deceased in 2023. Purpose. This research focuses on designing an emergency panic button system to enhance the safety of solitary elderly individuals. The study aims to ensure their safety and security, particularly during health emergencies. Method. The research involves developing a user-friendly panic button system, assessing its usability and reliability, and evaluating its impact on elderly safety. Results. The results indicate that the emergency panic button significantly improves response times in emergencies, providing a crucial support system for solitary elderly individuals. Conclusion. This innovation has broader implications for advancing health and safety technologies in Indonesia and could serve as a model for similar solutions in other countries facing comparable elderly care challenges

Abstract

Background. Warehouse management is crucial for manufacturing companies to ensure production runs smoothly and demand is met efficiently. Poor warehouse management can lead to several issues, such as dirty and dusty conditions, inconsistent goods recording, and suboptimal spare parts layouts. These problems can hinder operational efficiency and disrupt production. Purpuse. This research aims to address inefficiencies in the spare parts warehouse management at PT Sari Warna Asli V Kudus. Specifically, the study seeks to identify the root causes of these issues using fishbone analysis and propose practical solutions to improve the warehouse's operational efficiency. Method. The study was conducted as part of a student internship from February to April 2024 at PT Sari Warna Asli V Kudus. It involved a preliminary review, problem identification, data collection from primary and secondary sources, and the application of fishbone analysis. The process included gathering data, creating a causal factor diagram, identifying the root causes, and recommending solutions. Results. The research found that the main problems in the warehouse included the lack of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for managing warehouse activities such as receiving and sending goods, cleanliness, regular inspections, and stock management. These gaps contributed to the inefficiencies in the warehouse operations. Conclusion. To improve warehouse management at PT Sari Warna Asli V Kudus, the study recommends the implementation of consistent SOPs, regular inspections, and monthly stocktaking. Additionally, warehouse staff should receive training to enhance their skills and knowledge. These measures are expected to significantly improve warehouse conditions and overall operational efficiency.

Abstract

This research specifically aims to analyze the influence of workplace diversity on employe well-being, analyze the impact of positive leadership on employe well-being, and analyze the mediating role of positive leadership in the relationship between workplace diversity and employe well-being. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey design thru Google Forms involving 130 participants. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with criteria of working in the retail sector and having a minimum of 1 year of work experience. From this research, it is explained that workplace diversity has a significant and positive direct effect on employe well-being, positive leadership has a significant positive effect employe well-being, and workplace diversity has a significant and positive effect on positive leadership. Positive leadership mediates the relationship between workplace diversity and employe well-being. The theoretical contribution of the research by expanding the study on the mechanism of positive leadership in mediating the relationship between workplace diversity and employe well-being
