Abstract

Desa Jada Bahrin merupakan desa penghasil sayur mayur, karet, lada, dan nanas. Mata pencaharian masyarakat di desa Jada Bahrin yaitu petani, nelayan, buruh harian, pedagang dan wiraswasta. Persoalan yang sering dihadapi masyarakat Desa Jada Bahrin adalah sulitnya mendapatkan air ketika musim kemarau. Masyarakat hanya mengandalkan kolam buatan untuk menampung air dan menyalurkan ke setiap rumah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kebutuhan air harian rata-rata sekarang dan prediksi kebutuhan air bersih 10 tahun yang akan datang serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebutuhan air bersih masyarakat Desa Jada Bahrin. Data untuk analisis diperoleh dengan penyebaran kuisoner ke responden. Hasil analisa diperoleh kebutuhan air harian rata-rata setiap orang di Desa Jada Bahrin adalah 107,83 liter/orang/hari (Ipoph). Prediksi jumlah total kebutuhan air bersih Desa Jada Bahrin pada 10 tahun mendatang yaitu pada tahun 2028 sebesar 2,43 liter/detik. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kebutuhan air bersih adalah jenis pekerjaan, tingkat pendapatan dan pengaruh iklim.

Abstract

Pembangunan gedung disekitar pantai diperlukan untuk meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana di pantai. Analisis terhadap daya dukung dan penurunan pondasi untuk pembangunan suatu bangunan mutlak diperlukan untuk menghindari keruntuhan pada bangunan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis daya dukung dan penurunan pondasi di daerah pantai timur Kabupaten Bangka Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung yaitu Pantai Tikus, Pantai Takari dan Pantai Karang Mas Air Anyir menggunakan data lapangan yaitu data Cone Penetration Test (CPT). Berdasarkan hasil uji sondir (CPT) dapat dianalisis tingkat konsistensi tanah, daya dukung dan penurunan pondasi dengan mengkombinasikan beban struktur untuk gedung 1 lantai sampai gedung 5 lantai. Perhitungan daya dukung pondasi dangkal menggunakan metode Meyerhof (1976) sedangkan pondasi dalam menggunakan metode Meyerhof (1956). Untuk perhitungan penurunan pondasi dangkal menggunakan metode Steinbrenner (1934) sedangkan perhitungan penurunan pada pondasi dalam menggunakan metode Vesic (1970). Dari penelitian ini didapatkan tingkat konsistensi tanah pada 3 lokasi mulai dari tingkat medium sampai keras. Pada analisis daya dukung pondasi didapat semakin besar daya dukung tanah, maka dimensi pondasi yang didapat semakin kecil. Semakin besar beban yang ditahan oleh pondasi maka semakin besar pula ukuran pondasi yang diperlukan untuk menahan tersebut. Pada analisis penurunan didapat semakin kecil daya dukung tanah, maka penurunan akan semakin besar. Semakin besar beban yang ditahan pondasi maka penurunan yang terjadi akan semakin besar.

Abstract

Jada Bahrin village produces vegetables, rubber, pepper, and pineapple. The people in this village work as a farmer, fisherman, trader, and entrepreneur. They face a big problem to get water in dry season. They only rely on artificial pond to collect and distribute the water to the people. The goals of this study is to know the average daily water demand at present and the prediction of water needs for the next 10 years as well as the factors that influence the water needs in Jada Bahrin. Data for analysis were gathered by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Based on the analysis, the average daily water demand of each person in Jada Bahrin Village was 107.83 liters/person/day (Ipoph) and the prediction of the total water needs of Jada Bahrin Village in the next 10 years (2028) was 2.43 liters/second. Abstract

A Construction of buildings on the beach is needed to provide facilities and infrastructure. An analysis of bearing capacity and foundation settlement for building construction is necessary to avoid structural failure. This study analyzed bearing capacity and foundation settlement on the East coast of Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Island Province, including Tikus Beach, Takari Beach and Karang Mas Air Anyir Beach, based on field data from Cone Penetration Test (CPT). Result showed that the level of soil consistency, bearing capacity, and foundation settlement can be analyzed by combining the structural loads for the 1 to 5 floor buildings. Bearing capacity of shallow foundation was calculated using the Meyerhof (1976) method, whereas the deep foundation is using the Meyerhof (1956) method. Settlement of shallow foundation was calculated using the Steinbrenner (1934) method, whereas the deep foundation is using the Vesic (1970) method. This study found the soil consistency levels at three locations had the range from medium to hard level. The analysis of foundation bearing capacity showed that the greater of soil bearing capacity, the smaller of foundation dimensions. The greater the load that must be held by the foundation, the greater the size of the foundation needed to withstand it. The analysis of the settlement showed that the smaller of the soil bearing capacity, the greater of settlement. The greater the load that must be withheld by the foundation, the foundation settlement will greater.

Abstract

Clay soil is the basic part of a building construction, but such type of soil has the stability problems, hence it needs to be stabilized to increase its bearing capacity. Some natural materials in Bangka Belitung Province have not been optimally utilized, e.g. coconut shells and bamboo, which can be used as stabilization materials. In this article, we compare the dry density of clay soil mixed with coconut shell charcoal powder to clay soil mixed with bamboo charcoal powder. The percentage of stabilizing material used is 5%, 10% and 15% of the dry soil weight. Soil classification is based on the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS) standard including the low plasticity inorganic clay (CL) group and following the standards of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Classification (AASHTO) including the A-6 soil group. The compaction test result show that the dry density of the clay soil increases with the addition of stabilization agent using either coconut shell charcoal powder or bamboo charcoal powder. The results were almost the same where the difference was only about 0.001 (gr / cm3) for the stabilizer mixture of 5% and 10% as well as the difference of 0.002% (gr / cm3) for the stabilizer mixture of 15%. The increase in soil dry density indicates that the bearing capacity of clay soil increases with the increase in the percentage of stabilizing material
