Abstract

The purpose of this service is in order to share knowledge and experience in the form of seminars and workshops for school partners with regard to implementation of the alternatives assessment process which was implemented in primary schools. So that by applying an assessment that is expected to accommodate the function, purpose and principles of assessment and also provide additional information for teachers in designing an ideal alternative assessment. The asessmen which will be applied in this devotion is the assessment of the portfolio. This devotion is expected to have a high value of benefits both for proposing his own team, educators, students and the lesson itself. The targets of this devotion, namely; with the dedication is expected to be the subject of study and information for teachers as educators in formulating activities to increase the competence of teachers in elementary schools, which can be done through training, assessment and publishing technical reference and references associated with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of teachers in carry out evaluation of learning by using portfolios, and can provide information reports on the results of this dedication to the principals in an effort to evaluate and improve the quality of the portfolio assessment program in the future.

Abstract

Dewasa ini dalam proses pembelajaran IPA masih banyak peserta didik yang belum mampu mengembangkan sikap ilmiah serta kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap berbagai permasalahan dalam pembelajaran IPA, sehingga perlu adanya kreatifitas pendidik untuk memilih metode pembelajaran yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian iniuntuk melihat kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dengan menggunakan metode brainstorming dalam pembelajaran IPA. Metode penelitianyang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Almuslim dengan subjek mahasiswa semester 1 Prodi PGSD. Instrumen ynag digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan dari wawancara, observasi, angket dan studi dokumentasi pada mahasiswa PGSD semester I didapatkan bahwa penerapan metode brainstormingdalam pembelajaran IPA mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa yang terlihat dengan adanya berbagai ide – ide kreatif yang disampaikan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dikelas,mahasiswa juga diberi kesempatan yang lebih luas untuk menyampaikan gagasanya tanpa batas terhadap berbagai masalah IPA yang dipelajari. Metode ini juga dapat mengembangkan sikap ilmiah dan kreatifitas mahasiswa lebih baik, hasil observasi juga memperlihatkan semua ide yang disampaikan diterima dengan baik dan secara bersama mencari solusi yang tepat untuk permasalahan IPA yang muncul saaat diskusi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode brainstormingdalam pembelajaran IPA dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa. Kata kunci: Metode Brainstorming,Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis,Pembelajaran IPA

Abstract

The covid 19 pandemic exposes universities to be able to carry out the learning process online. This is a challenge for PGMI lecturers to prepare appropriate teaching materials and strategies in order to be able to improve students' analytical skills in understanding online lecture material. The purpose of this study was to determine the problem analysis skills of PGMI IAIN Lhokseumawe students in the online learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic and student responses to the implementation of online learning during the Covid 19 pandemic. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods with the subject of second semester students of PGMI IAIN Lhokseumawe, data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation study. From the research results, it was found that the majority of students already had good analytical skills where the results of the interviews revealed that students had been able to choose important material concepts and identify them into sub-material so that they were easy to understand. Students' analytical skills cannot be separated from the role of lecturers in choosing strategies and preparing appropriate learning media and being able to use information technology well. It can be concluded that the analytical skills of PGMI students in online learning look better. This can be seen from the student's ability to analyze problems with the lecture material given, namely being able to transform information and connect the material with real conditions in learning at MI.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan teknologi saat ini menjadi kebutuhan utama khususnya dalam dunia pendidikan, salah satunya adalah pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan media berbasis teknologi yaitu video pembelajaran dari youtube memiliki berbagai dampak bagi anak diantaranya akan mempengaruhi interaksi dan pola komunikasi saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media youtube terhadap komunikasi interpersonal anak usia sekolah dasar di SDIT Bunayya Kota Lhokseumawe. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest- Posttest Only Design, yaitu kelompok eksperimen maupun kelompok kontrol tidak dipilih secara random dan hanya kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan perlakuan sedangkan kelas kontrol tidak mendapatkan perlakuan. Sampel dikelas eksperimen sebanyak 27 orang dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 25 orang. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil perhitungan uji t didapati t hitung > t tabel (3,13 > 2,01) sehingga dapat disimpulkan media youtube memiliki pengaruh terhadap peningkatan komunikasi interpersonal anak usia sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci:  Media Youtube; Komunikasi Interpersonal; Anak Abstract: The use of technology is currently a major need, especially in the world of education, one of which is by utilizing technology as a learning medium. The use of technology-based media, namely learning videos from YouTube, has various impacts on children, including influencing interactions and communication patterns during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using YouTube media on interpersonal communication of elementary school age children at SDIT Bunayya, Lhokseumawe City. This study uses a quantitative approach and the research method used is quasi-experimental with a research design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Only Design, namely the experimental group and control group are not chosen randomly and only the experimental class gets treatment while the control class does not get treatment. The sample in the experimental class is 27 people and the control class is 25 people. data collection techniques using a questionnaire/questionnaire. Data analysis technique using t test. The results of the t test calculation found t count > t table (3.13 > 2.01) so it can be concluded that youtube media has an influence on increasing interpersonal communication of elementary school age children.Keywords: Youtube; interpersonal communication; children

Abstract

The concept of education at the basic education level plays an important role in character building and students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. Through science learning, it is hoped that students will not only know the concept, but are directed to be able to solve problems in the surrounding environment. However, the facts show that students in elementary schools still have difficulty solving analytical problems in science learning. This study aims to analyze the effect of metacognition on the ability to solve science problems in fifth grade elementary school students. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The sample in this study were 50 grade 5 students, who were selected using a random sampling technique. Data was collected using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the value of tcount was greater than ttable, namely 3,086 > 2,312 at a significance level of = 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of metacognition on the ability to solve science problems. The implications of the results of this study are expected to be used as evaluation material and input for teachers in choosing and using appropriate learning strategies so as to improve problem-solving skills in science learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Adanya pandemic covid – 19 saat ini secara langsung berdampak pada sistem pembelajaran di seluruh dunia termasuk Jepang dan Indonesia. Permasalahan utama terkait dengan peran orang tua dalam mendampingi anak belajar selama dirumah serta berbagai kebijakan terkait yang bertujuan agar anak dapat belajar maksimal saat pembelajaran daring dilaksanakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah review sistematik sesuai dengan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Proses pencarian berfokus pada  artikel jurnal tentang “Sistem Pendidikan Dasar, Peran Orang Tua, Pengaruh Lingkungan pada masa pandemic” di Negara Jepang dan Indonesia yang dipublikasi pada tahun 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran di jenjang pendidikan dasar baik di negara Jepang dan Indonesia, diantaranya tingkat stress anak dan orang tua meningkat, orang tua kewalahan dalam mendampingi anak selama pembelajaran daring diberlakukan, hubungan sosial anak juga terganggu. Berdasarkan hasil kajian ini maka dapat disimpulkan perlu adanya dukungan lingkungan sekolah agar pembelajaran daring dapat berlangsung baik, perlu adanya penguatan pendidikan karakter untuk meminimalkan prilaku buruk anak

Abstract

The transition of education from the 4.0 era of the Industrial Revolution to the 5.0 era of the Social Revolution necessitates educators’ skill development. Particularly, technology-based learning devices must be designed with digital literacy and Technological Pedagogical Kontent Knowledge (TPACK) skills in mind so that learning tools for teachers are more creative and innovative. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of digital literacy and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) on the ability of prospective Madrasah Ibtidaiyah science teachers to create learning tools. This study employed a survey approach. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Primary School) IAIN Lhokseumawe sixth-semester preservice teacher students were the subjects of this study. The data collection method employed a questionnaire and a straightforward regression analysis. The results demonstrate a strong correlation between digital literacy and the ability to compose science learning tools. A t-table value of 9.880 indicated a positive and significant relationship between digital literacy and the capacity to organize science learning tools. With a t-table value of -0.562, TPACK has no significant effect on the ability to compose learning tools. Therefore, it can be concluded that digital literacy has a positive effect on the ability of preservice Islamic primary teachers to create science learning tools for their students.

Abstract

Learning activities at the basic education level, especially Madrasah Ibtidaiyah are expected to develop children's abilities and creativity well, this can be realized by preparing appropriate materials, methods and media in teaching and learning activities. In the learning process at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, namely MIN 3 and MIN 4 in Lhokseumawe City, it was found that currently teachers have used learning media, but the media is only in simple form and has not been used in all teaching materials. From the existing problems, it is necessary to design an activity that can support the development of teacher skills at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in order to better understand the concept of learning media accurately and be able to apply it directly in the learning process at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The method that will be implemented in this activity is the direct practicum method and the lecture method. Based on the results of the training and mentoring activities in this service activity, it can be concluded: 1) This training activity is able to inspire and motivate teachers in selecting and designing appropriate learning media and in accordance with the expected learning objectives; 2) The training that has been held is able to improve teacher competence and special skills in improving the quality of learning in each madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Pemberian reward untuk anak merupakan sikap positif yang ditunjukan oleh oleh orang tua untuk memotivasi dalam proses pembelajaran, motivasi nyang diberikan bukan hanya berupa material tetapi juga non material yang berbentuk reward dan penghargaan terhadap hasil belajar anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang, jenis reward yang diberikan kepada anak usia 7-12 tahun, peran orang tua dalam memotivasi belajar anak usia 7-12 tahun, dampak pemberian oleh orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar anak usia 7-12 tahun. Jenis penelitian kualitatif, pendekatan deskriptif, pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 7-12 tahun di kampung Gajah Putih. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian jenis reward yang diberikan orang tua kepada anak di kampung Gajah Putih berupa reward yang berbentuk pujian dan hadiah untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar anak. Orang tua berperan aktif dalam memotivasi belajar anak dan orang tua merupakan tokoh utama dalam meningkatkan semangat belajar anak salah satu caranya adalah dengan memberikan reward. Dampak pemberian reward oleh orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar anak sangat bagus untuk anak dan orang tua karena masing-masing mendapatkan feedback dari apa yang mereka inginkan
