Abstract

Abstract: Research on the application of active learning Cooperative Script method has been done in class X of SMAN Kepenuhan Kabupaten Rokan Hulu on the subject of atomic structure. Based on the results of observations conducted by researchers at the SMAN1Kepenuhan Kabupaten Rokan Hulu do known that learning is teacher centered, so that students become less active and negatively affect student achievement. The objective was to determine the increase in student achievement and increase student achievement category. The research form is an experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class X MIA1 as the experimental group and the class X MIA2 as the control group. The experimental group is the group of students who were treated by applying the active learning of Cooperative Script method, while the control group was treated with  information discussion methods. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. The results showed tarithmetic>ttable (2,07 > 1,68) and N-gain of the experimental group is 0,754 which includes the high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application for active learning Cooperative Script method can increase student achievement in the subject of anatomic structure in SMAN 1 Kepenuhan Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Abstract

Abstrack: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the subject structure of atoms and the periodic system of elements in class XI science SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA 3 as the experimental class and students of class XI IPA 4 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied cooperative learning type Lottery Card model, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis data tcount>ttable is 1,84 > 1,67, means that the application of model cooperative learning type lottery card can improve student achievement on the subject structure of atoms and the periodic system of elements in class XI science SMAN 11 Pekanbaru by category increase achievement (N-Gain) high at 0.72.Keywords: Learning Achievement, Cooperative type Lottery Card, Atomic Structure and Element of the Periodic System.

Abstract

AbstractMedia is a kind of tool to deliver material contents to learners (students). Chemistry contains much abtract concepts elusively, such as the concept of the atom, electronic structure in the atomic structure, ionization energy, ionic activities, reaction and reaction speed and etc. All of the concepts is not enough just described verbally, orally to students but it is needed to explained visually through media, in order to have a comprenhensif knowledge. Right now, it is well-known a multimedia such as Macromedia tools that the difficult contents can be more easilly understood. through pictures and animations available made it. It will be conducted a meaningful learning instruction through chemistry lesson in science education college. Macromedia such as flash-media program, Prezi,etc. It is easly able to explain concepts to the learners. Chemistry learning research results shows that some difficult topics make it students more interested in in learning and improved their competenciesn also.Keywords: media role, content abtract, chemistry education.

Abstract

Abstract: The design research of Lectora Inspire Interactive Multimedia for Salt Hydrolysis subject in aims to get a valid and practical material learning. The research method in the Design Research with Plomp model through five phases are: Prelimery Investigation phase; phase Design; Realization phase; Test, Evaluation, and Revision phase; and Implementation phase. The research was conducted through the Test, Evaluation, and Revision phase. Data collect technique by validating Interactive Multimedia Lectora Inspire to three people validator (media expert and matter experts) and the trials of Interactive Multimedia Lectora Inspire had done by practitioners (users). Limited trial subjects are three teachers SMA/MA and 15 students from class XI. Data analysis technique was used descriptive analysis percentage. The research results show percentage score the designing aspect 96.8%; pedagogic aspects 96.8%; the content aspects 95.05%; the ease of use aspects 95.8%, teachers response 98.3%; and the learners response 94.7%. Average score overall validation of Interactive Multimedia Lectora Inspire on the Salt Hydrolysis subject is 96.05% including valid category and the average score overall response practitioners is 96.5% including practical criteria and can be used on the salt hydrolysis subject in class XI SMA / MA.Keywords: Interactive Multimedia, Lectora Inspire, Salt Hydrolysis

Abstract

Abstrak: This classroom action research aims to improve the activity and students learning result in chemistry on class XI IPA 7 of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru by applying cooperative model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT). There were 33 students of  XI IPA 7 SMAN 1 Pekanbaru involved in study that did in three cycles of learning. Each cycle consisted of one meetings through four stages of implementation: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques using observation and test. The result of action showed that total activity percentage of students increased and reached the success indicator with 62,2% students were active in three cycles. Total activity of student percentage in first cycle 57,7% with criteria enough, second cycle 60,5% with criteria enough and three cycle 68,3% with criteria good. The average percentage of mastery learning classical also increased  and reached the success indicator with 78,8% in three cycle. The average percentage in first, second and third cycle followed by 51,7%, 78,1% dan 81,8%.Keyword : Cooperative model of NHT, Student Activities, Mastery Learning Classical

Abstract

Abstract : This is a classroom action research. This research is an attempt to improve student learning activities in chemistry on class X SMAN 4 Pekanbaru by using active learning lucky wheel strategy. Student learning activity which is repaired the activity of asking questions, submit answers or opinions, working on LKS, group discussion and enthusiastic about the game of lucky wheel. This research consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings that went through four stages of implementation: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection technique use observation and test. The result of action showed that learning activity percentage of student improved and reached the success criteria. The learning activity of student percentage in first cycle is 59,66% with enough category and the second cycle of 75,88% with good category. Percentage of learning outcomes is also seen from mastery learning that enhances and have achieved success criteria. The percentage of mastery learning students in the first cycle reached 75,67%, which has not reached the criteria of success, while in the second cycle students learning completeness percentage of 83,78% has achieved succes criteria. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded the using of active learning lucky wheel strategy can improve the activity and student learning outcomes.Key Word: Learning active strategy of lucky wheel, activities, mastery learning

Abstract

Abstract : The research about implementation to improve student learning achievement on the subject chemical equilibrium at the class XI MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The research was a form of experimental research with the design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample consists of two classes, class XI MIA 5 as the experimental class and class XI MIA 3 as the control class is determined randomly after normality test and homogeneity test. Experimental class was implied of learning model cooperative POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) while the control class didn’t imply learning model cooperative POE (Predict, Observe, Explain). Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of data processing obtained tcount > ttable is 3,38 > 2,00, its means that the implementation of learning model cooperative POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) can improve students learning achievement on the subject chemical equilibrium at the class XI MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 pekanbaru. Abstract

The general purpose of this research is to develop e-modules using the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application on the subject of chemical equilibrium. Specifically this research is aimed at describing the validity of using e-modules on the subject of chemical equilibrium.The method used in this study is the research and development method, with reference to the Plomp model, which consists of three phases, namely the preliminary investigation phase, the prototyping phase and the assessment phase. The results of the analysis showed that the e-module developed using the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application on the subject of chemical equilibrium was declared valid and feasible to be used in learning activities with the percentage of media experts 94.8%; material expert 88.46%; and practicality test with a teacher response of 95.29%.

Abstract

Abstract: The research problem that the writer found is that chemistry learning at class X.10 of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru is not condusive yet. In learning process, students are only as listeners and write notes if teacher write something on board. During learning process, students seldom ask a question. This research is aimed to know the improvement of students learning activity and mastery learning by using Hydrocarbon domino card at X.10 class of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru in academic year 2015/2016. This research is a class action research with two cycles in research design. The sample of this research was X.10 class which was given an action for improvement in learning process by using Hydrocarbon domino card media. The data collection was conducted by observing and giving tests. The data analysis technique was conducted descriptively by using percentage technique. Based on the result of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of Hydrocarbon domino card media can improve students learning activity and completeness at X.10 class of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. It can be seen by the improvement of students learning activity from 69,72% at the first cycle to 85,97% at the second cycle and students learning completeness from 87,50% at the first cyle to 100% at the second cycle.Key Words : Hydrocarbon Domino Card Media, Learning Completeness, Hydrocarbons
