Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD termokimia berbasis Self Regulated Learning (SRL) menggunakan wizer.me pada kelas XI SMA/MA sederajat, mengetahui kevalidan E-LKPD berdasarkan aspek kelayakan isi, karakteristik Self Regulated Learning, kebahasaan, penyajian, kegrafisan, desain sampul E-LKPD, desain isi E-LKPD dan mengetahui respon pengguna terhadap E-LKPD yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan desain penelitian pengembangan R&D (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model 4-D yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yatu Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan), dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Namun, penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap Develop. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah lembar validasi dan angket respon pengguna. Validasi dilakukan oleh dua validator ahli materi dan satu validator ahli media, serta respon pengguna diperoleh dari guru dan peserta didik. Setelah dilakukan validasi sebanyak dua kali diperoleh hasil validasi ahli materi pada aspek kelayakan isi, karakteristik Self Regulated Learning, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan kegrafisan berturut-turut yatu 94,634%, 95,834%, 93,750%, dan 87,500% dengan kriteria valid. Hasil validasi media pada aspek desain sampul dan isi E-LKPD yaitu 93,095% dan 90,105% dengan kriteria valid. Hasil uji respon pengguna memeroleh skor 88,13% oleh guru kimia dengan kriteria sangat baik dan 87,35% oleh peserta didik dengan kriteria sangat baik. Abstract

The results of the pre-research concept mastery test showed students' low mastery of redox and electrochemical concepts. The aim of this research is to produce an Android-based interactive multimedia product integrated with PBL that is valid, practical and effective in the form of an APK. The research method is Development Research referring to the ADDIE development procedure. The research was conducted in the odd semester of 2022/2023. The research sample are 70 students of class XII MIPA SMA N 10 Pekanbaru.  Data was collected through multiple choice tests, essays, questionnaires. The developed product was validated by 3 material experts, and 3 media experts. The practicality tes was carried out by 4 chemistry teachers, 11 students in the one to one and small group stages. The implementation test was carried out at SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru.  The average validation results by material experts were 94.8% with very valid criteria and the average validation results by media experts were 95.8% (very valid). Practicality results for 4 chemistry teachers, it was 91.3 in the very practical category and 88.8% for 11 students in the very practical category. The n-gain test results showed an increase in concept mastery in the experimental class, namely 0.7 in the medium category and the control class with an n gain value of 0.3 (low). Based on the research results, it was concluded that the product that had been developed could increase students' mastery of concepts.

Abstract

Stereochemistry is the study of molecules in three-dimensional space regarding how atoms in a molecule are arranged in one room relative to the other. Stereochemistry is a difficult course. Therefore, it is necessary to diagnose the difficulty of learning using the testlet model. This study is aimed at developing an appropriate testlet model for the assessment instrument. This research uses the development model of Borg and Gall's assessment instrument with ten stages, but this research is limited to the fifth stage only, namely 1) Research and Information Collection, 2) Planning, 3) Develop Preliminary Form of Product, 4) Preliminary Field Testing, and 5) Preliminary Product Revision. The data collection techniques were in the form of validation questionnaires from expert teams and students' response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data were from the results of a review of validation by a team of experts who are Postgraduate Lecturers of Chemistry Education at Universitas Riau and lecturers of the Chemistry Education Study Program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching at UIN Suska Riau. The quantitative data were obtained from the calculation of the mean scores of the validation questionnaire by two lecturers of the Postgraduate of Chemistry Education at Universitas Riau and one lecturer in the Chemistry Education Study Program at the Tarbiyah Faculty and Teacher Training at UIN Suska Riau as the experts. The results of the study show that the mean score of validation from the expert team is 3.97 on the aspect of material with valid category, 3.97 on the aspect of construction with valid category, 3.88 on the aspect of language with valid category; and the results of the students' response questionnaires are 51.58 on the time readability questionnaire and 8.08 on the aspect of time adequacy.

Abstract

Budaya merupakan hal yang selalu kita jumpai dalam lingkungan dan juga tidak terlepas dari ilmu kimia. Pengenalan budaya di daerahnya bagi generasi muda pada saat ini cukup sedikit yang diakibatkan oleh arus globalisasi yang berkembang pesat. Pengenalan budaya melalui pendidikan sains sangatlah menarik untuk dipahami. Persaingan pada abad ke- 21 sangat dibutuhkan kemampuan komprehensif, kreatif, literasi tinggi dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan studi pustaka dengan 23 jurnal yang ditemukan memenuhi kriteria inklusif yang telah ditentukan sebagai berikut: 1) jurnal 5 tahun terakhir (2019-2023); 2) jurnal terakreditasi SINTA dan Scopus 3) ruang lingkup penelitian di Indonesia dan Luar Negeri 4) kata kunci jurnal etnosains, etnokimia, laju reaksi. Pencarian jurnal menggunakan aplikasi Publish of Perish 8. Literatur sains menjadi aspek yang diukur secara serius dengan pendekatan etnokimia yang mayoritas melibatkan peserta didik sekolah menengah. Etnokimia menunjukkan minimnya pembahasan dalam materi laju reaksi. Nabun merupakan etnokimia yang dibahas dalam faktor yang mempengaruhi laju reaksi yang merupakan tradisi budaya Betawi. Penyampaian isu ini akan memperluas informasi dan mengubah perilaku siswa dalam menjawab permasalahan yang luas. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan kajian, aspek pengukuran yang masih minim dilakukan adalah berpikir kritis, keterampilan penjelasan ilmiah, dan melestarikan budaya dari pendekatan etnokimia. Pendekatan etnokimia atau etnosains adalah pendekatan yang menyajikan budaya yang ada disekitar atau pengetahuan budaya yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik yang dikaitan dengan konsep ilmu yang sedang dipelajari. Penelitian dalam 5 tahun terakhir secara keseluruhan telah dilakukan aspek pengukuran literasi sains dan masih minim dalam pengukuran aspek berpikir kritis, keterampilan penjelasan ilmiah, dan melestarikan budaya

Abstract

The study aimed to develop a PBL Integrated Ethnoscience-Based e-Student Worksheet focused on redox material, ensuring its validity, and to determine its impact on enhancing students' character values and conservation attitudes. Utilizing the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Plomp model, the study incorporated various data collection methods such as interviews, student questionnaires, validation sheets, and user response surveys. Validation involved assessments from three material experts and media specialists. Initial trials encompassed one-on-one assessments with students of varying abilities and feedback from teachers and students. The larger-scale trial adopted a pre-experimental Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The outcomes revealed that the e-Student Worksheet achieved high validation scores from both material and media experts, while feedback from users indicated its effectiveness. Importantly, significant improvements in students' character values and conservation attitudes were observed post-implementation of the e-Student Worksheet, as confirmed by paired t-tests. In summary, the use of the Flip Builder application in crafting the E-Student Worksheet, grounded in PBL and ethnosciences, not only received strong validation but also positively impacted students' character development and conservation perspectives.

Abstract

This study aims to develop E-LKPD based on socio-scientific issues (SSI) using liveworksheets on chemical equilibrium material for grade XI SMA/MA equivalent, to determine the validity of E-LKPD based on aspects of content feasibility, characteristics of Socio-scientific Issues, presentation, language, appearance, and software utilization and to determine user responses to the developed E-LKPD. This study was designed using a research and development design R&D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model consisting of five stages of the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. However, this study was only conducted up to the Development stage. The instruments used were validation sheets and user response questionnaires. Validation was carried out by two material expert validators and one media expert validator, as well as user responses obtained from teachers and students. After validation was carried out twice, the results of the expert validation of the material on the aspects of content feasibility, characteristics of Socio-Scientific Issues, presentation, and language were respectively 93.75%, 90.625%, 87.50%, and 87.50% with valid criteria. The results of media validation on the aspects of appearance, and software utilization were 100% and 100% with valid criteria. The results of the user response test obtained a score of 96.66% by chemistry teachers with very good criteria and 95.77% by students with very good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to develop E-LKPD based on Socio Scientific Issue (SSI) on Thermochemistry material as an effort to improve students' science literacy skills and environmental care. The background of this research is based on the low science literacy of students, the lack of use of innovative teaching materials that link science with social issues, and the low concern of students for the environment. The method used is development research (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. E-LKPD products were developed using Canva and Flip PDF Corporation 2025 applications, and validated by material experts and media experts. The validation results showed that the E-LKPD was in a very valid category, with a validity percentage of 91.22% by material experts and 92.22% by media experts. Small-scale trials were conducted in 3 schools, namely Cendana Pekanbaru High School, Alhuda Pekanbaru High School and Seri Rama Pekanbaru High School. The average percentage of teacher responses was 90.3 and the average percentage of student responses was 90.1. The large-scale trial was conducted at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru. The results of the trial showed that the E-LKPD was practical and effective in learning. The effectiveness of E-LKPD is seen from the significant increase in science literacy and environmental care of students, shown through t-test and the acquisition of N-Gain Score of 0.78 for science literacy and 0.81 for environmental care. Thus, the development of SSI-based E-LKPD is proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving the science literacy skills and environmental care attitudes of students on Thermochemistry material.
