Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase in student learning achievement by applying cooperative learning models talking chips type to Atomic Structure material in class X MIA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The form of this study uses the Pretest-Posttest Design Randomized Control Group. The sample consisted of class X MIA 5 as the experimental class and X MIA 6 as the control class which was randomly selected after the normality test and homogeneity test. The experimental class is a class that applies the cooperative learning model of talking chips. The data analysis technique uses test techniques. Testing the hypothesis using the T test with α = 0.05 obtained by Tcount> Ttable (1.98> 1.66). Based on hypothesis testing it was concluded that the application of cooperative learning models talking chips type can improve student learning achievement in the Atomic Structure material in class X MIA SMAN 12 Pekanbaru..Key Words: Atomic structure, learning achievement, cooperative learning modeltype talking chips

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes by applying cooperative learning models talking chips type on the subject of Reaction Rate in class XI MIPA SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The form of this study uses the Pretest-Postest Design Randomized Control Group. The sample consisted of class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 2 as the control class which was randomly selected after the normality test and homogeneity test. The experimental class is a class that applies the cooperative learning model of talking chips. The data analysis technique uses test techniques. Abstract

Abstract: The development of instrument diagnostic test as a testlet model for learning difficulties detection on chemistry is a kind of reserach development which is used ADDIE model. The ADDIE model has consisted some stages such as: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Because some limitations, The research stage just until is done until Implementation stage, that use some doing trial in limited subjects used, is trialed at SMAN 12 and the istruments is done validated by some lectures of Pendidikan Kimia-FKIP, UR. The study aims to: (1) develop of instrument diagnostic test as a testlet model for learning difficulties detection on chemistry is a kind on buffer, (2) Know the learning difficulties detection using on chemistry is a kind diagnostic test model testlet instrument, (3) Know the reliability of the problem, the level of difficulty of the problem, and the differentiation of the problem. The results of the research shows that: (1) The diagnostic test instrument of developed testlet model is stated valid from material aspect, construction aspect, and language aspect, (2) students of class XI IPA 2 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru have difficulty studying on indicators 4, 5 and 6 Students of class XI IPA 3 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru have difficulty studying on indicator 2, 4, and 6. (3) reliability matter 0,55; The difficulty level of the item consists of 15 items of easy category, 12 items on medium category, and 13 items on the difficult category; The problem of differentiator of item item consists of 2 items of good category, 2 items about good category, 9 items about enough category, and 27 items about bad category.Key Words : Learning Difficulties, Diagnostic Tests, Testlets, Buffers.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop Student Worksheets Based Learning Cycle 5-E on the Colloid which are valid based on the feasibility aspect of content, language, presentation and graphic. The type of the research is research and development (R and D) with reference to the development process of 4-D model. The object of this research is student worksheets based learning cycle 5-E. The instrument of data collection are validation sheets given to three validators and the result of data analysis was obtained by the validity of aspect of content, language, presentation and graphic are 90,28%, 90%, 91,67% and 91,67% with valid category. The students activities worksheets which validated by the validators tested to 20 students and get response result with percentage of 90,71% with positive category and student worksheet was also assessed by twochemistry teachersand get response result with percentage of 96,88% with positive category. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that student worksheets based learning cycle 5-E that produced is valid and can be used on Senior High School chemistry subject of colloid.Key Words: Colloid, Student Worksheet, Learning Cycle 5-E

Abstract

Abstract: The study of Development chemistry worksheet based problem based learning on acid and base Solutions (chemistry). The result of this Development research is student worksheet product which can be used by students in the process of learning. The device development model suggested by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel (1974) is a 4-D Model consisting of 4 stages, such as: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The research development with 4-D model was conducted only Define, Design, and Development step, because the purpose of this research was limited to develop and produce a valid student worksheet to be implemented based on validator assessment. The result of research shows as the average score of the four aspect assessment of the student worksheet which is validated: content: 88,125%, language: 98,43%, presentation: 84,375%, and successive graphics: 95,31% by the validators. Thus, the overall average score of student worksheet validation the acid and base solution on Problem Based Learning is 91,56%. Based on the eligibility criteria of learning tools in Riduwan (2012), the criteria of 91,56% analysis included in valid category.Keywords : Student worksheet, Problem Based Learning, Acid and Base Solution(SchoolChemistry).

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to develop a Student Worksheet (SWs) with the SETS (Science, Environment, Technology and Society) Approach on the subject of Acid Bases. This type of research is research and development (R & D) with the Plomp development model which includes the initial investigation phase, design phase, realization / construction phase, test phase, evaluation and revision, and implementation phase. This research was conducted until the implementation in the form of one-on-one trials, trials limited to teachers and students. This research was conducted at FKIP Riau University, High School 2 Pekanbaru and Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Pekanbaru High School. The object of this research is SWs with SETS approach. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistical analysis, performed by calculating the score obtained at the time of validation. The assessment of the feasibility aspects of SWs by the validator team in the form of content eligibility, characteristics of the SETS approach, linguistic, presentation, and graphic characteristics had a score of 91.67%, 95.00%, 89.59%, 88.89%, and 89, respectively. 58%. So, overall the average score of acid-base SWs validation with the SETS approach is 90.95% included in the validity eligibility criteria, meaning that the developed SWs is feasible to be tested on a limited basis whereas the responses of teachers and students to SWs get a percentage of 97.32% and 86.06% are in good criteria.Keywords: Student WorkSheet (SWs), SETS Approach, acid and base

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to develop the student’s work sheet on the subject of reaction rate.The research is done in FKIP Riau University. The method of this research is design reserach with the 4-D model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. But this research is done until develop. The data research is validation’s result of student work sheet based on constructivism on reaction rate. The data analysis technique is descriptive statistic analysis and analysis done by percentage of validation score. The average scores of valuation by validator’s team from four expendiency components such as content, language, layout, and graphical are 92,86%, 93,33%, 95,83%, and 93,75%. In spite of average score totally of student worksheet based on contructisvism on reaction rate is 93,94% which is valid criteria. It means means student work sheet that is developed ready to use. Whereas percentage response of students is 95,75% to very good criteria.Key Words: Student Work Sheet, Constructivism, and Reaction Rate.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan di sekolah menegah atas (SMA)Muhammadiyah, Pekanabaru dengan tujuan untuk meningkatakan proses belajar-mengajar (sekaligusuntuk meningkatkan hasil belajar). Penelitian tindakan kelas ini memfaatkan VCD dalam prosespembelajaran (kimia, sain). Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan minat (motivasi) siswa dalampembelajaran kimia dan hal ini ditunjukan pula dengan hasil evaluasi belajar yang meningkat. Nilairata-rata siswa dengan pemanfaatan program VCD sebesar 74,23 dengan Ketuntasan Belajar siswa71,16 (%). Sedangkan Nilai rata-rata siswa tanpa VCD sebesar 62, 20 and Ketuntasan Belajar siswa45, 30 (%). Peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 22, 9 (%). . Program VCD ini sangat menarik bagisiswa dan ini ditunjukkan dari hasil penilaian angket siswa. Dimana penilaian sebesar 3,95 (skala 5).Dengan pemanfaatan program VCD kimia membuat minat/motivasi siswa meningkat begitu pula hasilbelajar meningkat.

Abstract

Abstract : This Research aims to develop Student Activities Worksheets Based on Constructivism on the Solubility and Constant Solubility Product subject valid based on the feasibility aspect of content, language, serve and graphic. The type of this research is research and development (R and D) with reference to the development process of 4-D model. Instrument of data collection are validation given to three validators, and from analysis data obtained by the validity of aspect of content, aspect of language, aspect of serve, and aspect of graphic are 91,50%, 93,33%, 89,58%, dan 89,58% with valid category. LKPD which validated by the validators tested to 30 students and get response result with percentage of 92,67% with positive category. Based on the result of data analysis can be concluded that student activities worksheets based on constructivism that produced is valid and can be used for the subject solubility and constant solubility product.Keywords: Solubility and Constant Solubility Product, Constructivism, Student ActivitiesWorksheet, Chemistry

Abstract

Budaya merupakan hal yang selalu kita jumpai dalam lingkungan dan juga tidak terlepas dari ilmu kimia. Pengenalan budaya di daerahnya bagi generasi muda pada saat ini cukup sedikit yang diakibatkan oleh arus globalisasi yang berkembang pesat. Pengenalan budaya melalui pendidikan sains sangatlah menarik untuk dipahami. Persaingan pada abad ke- 21 sangat dibutuhkan kemampuan komprehensif, kreatif, literasi tinggi dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan studi pustaka dengan 23 jurnal yang ditemukan memenuhi kriteria inklusif yang telah ditentukan sebagai berikut: 1) jurnal 5 tahun terakhir (2019-2023); 2) jurnal terakreditasi SINTA dan Scopus 3) ruang lingkup penelitian di Indonesia dan Luar Negeri 4) kata kunci jurnal etnosains, etnokimia, laju reaksi. Pencarian jurnal menggunakan aplikasi Publish of Perish 8. Literatur sains menjadi aspek yang diukur secara serius dengan pendekatan etnokimia yang mayoritas melibatkan peserta didik sekolah menengah. Etnokimia menunjukkan minimnya pembahasan dalam materi laju reaksi. Nabun merupakan etnokimia yang dibahas dalam faktor yang mempengaruhi laju reaksi yang merupakan tradisi budaya Betawi. Penyampaian isu ini akan memperluas informasi dan mengubah perilaku siswa dalam menjawab permasalahan yang luas. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan kajian, aspek pengukuran yang masih minim dilakukan adalah berpikir kritis, keterampilan penjelasan ilmiah, dan melestarikan budaya dari pendekatan etnokimia. Pendekatan etnokimia atau etnosains adalah pendekatan yang menyajikan budaya yang ada disekitar atau pengetahuan budaya yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik yang dikaitan dengan konsep ilmu yang sedang dipelajari. Penelitian dalam 5 tahun terakhir secara keseluruhan telah dilakukan aspek pengukuran literasi sains dan masih minim dalam pengukuran aspek berpikir kritis, keterampilan penjelasan ilmiah, dan melestarikan budaya
