Abstract

Value is not something we see from the world based on what we know, but value is more related to what should happen. Islamic education is a process of changing individual behavior for the better, so the value of Islamic education is the things or traits inherent in Islamic education that are used as a basis or life guide to become a better person. Islam recognizes the existence of community customs because customs are part of that society. In addition, customs or traditions often contain values whose source is the religion adopted or Islamic education. So the purpose of this study is to explore the values of Islamic education contained in the fanten tradition carried out by the Patani community of Central Halmahera every month of Rabiul Awal as an expression of gratitude for the birth of the Prophet Muhammad. So it can be understood that in the fanten tradition there is a process for strengthening faith, worship and morals which are the values of Islamic education

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the facts in the field to determine the effectiveness of the distribution of zakat funds and also how the distribution of zakat funds in Baznas, sorong regency. The method used is a qualitative method. The data collection in this study using direct interviews with related parties Baznas Sorong Regency end also the recipients of productive zakat. The second is by means of documentation techniques in the from of financial statements in 2021. The research result obtained that zakat is productive in improving the economy of. It is appropriate that productive zakat is zakat given to sameone who is used as working capital. The from of distribution in Baznas Sorong Regency is the productive zakat program in the from of individual capital business assitence. Secondly, the effectiveness of productive zakat in improving economy during the covid-19 pandemic with the zakat core priinciples (ZCP) approach, there are two categories, namely the calculation of disbursement collection ratio (DRC) and the speed of time. The calculation according to the DRC in 2021 is 73% so that is included in the effective DRC category. The speed off time in the productive program, the time required at the time of distribution is 7 month. It can be concluded that the national amil zakat agency (Baznas) of sorong regency has distributed effectively in 2021 both in terms of the DRC ratio with the effective category and the speed of distribution time in the category

Abstract

The study aims: 1) to describe the strategies implemented by the leader of the Islamic Boarding School to improve the quality of moral education at the Hidayatullah Sekru Islamic Boarding School, Fakfak Regency. (2) To describe the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by the leader in improving the quality of moral education at the Hidayatullah Sekru Islamic Boarding School, Fakfak Regency. This research applied a descriptive qualitative approach and was conducted at the Hidayatullah Sekru Islamic Boarding School, Fakfak Regency. Primary data sources were Islamic boarding school leaders as the main informants and ustadz/Ustadzah and female students as additional informants. Secondary data sources were books, books, magazines, internet, reports and documentation. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the Islamic Boarding School Leader implements several main strategies: 1) Integrating moral values in the formal and non-formal education curriculum. 2) Carrying out intensive training through religious activities such as recitation, halaqah, and yellow books recitation. 3) Empowering a conducive environment by upholding discipline and example by ustadz and leaders. 4) Strengthening the relationship between Islamic boarding schools and parents to ensure continuity of moral education at home. Supporting factors are the strong commitment of the Islamic boarding school leader, support from the ustadz, and the high enthusiasm of the students and parents in participating in moral education programs. Then, the inhibiting factors are limited facilities and resources, differences in student backgrounds which influence acceptance and understanding of moral values, and challenges in maintaining consistent discipline in the Islamic boarding school environment. The implications of this research are: 1) facilities and resources in the Islamic boarding school environment must be improved to support the moral education program optimally. 2) continuous training for ustadz and caregivers in moral learning methods is necessary, along with more intensive collaboration between Islamic boarding schools and student’s parents to create an environment for moral education both in the Islamic boarding school and at home.

Abstract

This scientific research aims to analyze management strategies and the influence of leadership management in Muhammadiyah Fakfak on the development of Islamic education quality in Fakfak Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative which is located in the Secretariat of the Muhammadiyah Fakfak Regional Leadership, MI Muhammadiyah Fakfak, MTs Muhammadiyah Fakfak, and MTs Muhammadiyah Tahfizul Quran Fakfak. The primary data source in this study is the Chairperson of the Muhammadiyah Fakfak Regional Leadership, as the main informant and additional informants, namely the Chairperson of the Dikdasmen Council and the Head of the Muhammadiyah Fakfak Madrasah. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that 1) the management strategy of the Muhammadiyah regional leadership in developing the quality of Islamic education is the development of teacher quality, curriculum development, development of educational facilities, and collaboration with 2) the management strategy of PDM Fakfak in developing human resources as educators and managers of Islamic Education Institutions in Fakfak Regency in the form of training and professional development, recruitment and selection, incentive awards, and monitoring evaluations. 3) Analysis of the role of Muhammadiyah Fakfak leadership which can provide implications for the development of the quality of Islamic education including the preparation of a vision and mission through work meetings, curriculum development, training and development, empowerment of educational technology, and management of professional management.
