Abstract

The essential problem of human rights violation is a matter of human life. The issue raises many new problems, including the trauma suffered by victims and guilty feelings experienced by perpetrators. Some cases of human rights violation, can often be resolved by the constitutional court. Other cases cannot be solved by laws and regulations that have been established. In such cases, it requires an accomplishment by using another point of view, for example, by understanding the basic structure of human person, based on Hannah Arendt's philosophy of action. This research is a qualitative research with emphasises library research in obtaining datas. Methods used in this study are: hermeneutics, and heuristics. The formal object is human person that is part of philosophy of human. Theory of human person which is categorized into three parts, namely: the personality of human, self identity of human, and the uniqueness in the sociality of human. The result of this research is an exposure of the philosophy of human action, as an ultimate activity in the vita activa. Human beings as individuals, are body and soul; soul and mind. Self identity is understood not only as the present, but also the past and the projections of the future. Human beings develop continuously in the historicity of the time, so that each individual is unique from the others. This uniqueness colors the difference in plurality of life which is expected to keep the friendship in a community. Arendt's philosophy has been successfully answered the problem for human rights violation during the under Nazi rule. Arendt's analysis of the problem for the emphasis on the human personality-conscious thinking in a situation that tends to be authoritarian. Another analysis is the human ability to forgive, promise and build friendship. It is inspire to answer the problem for human rights violation at Indonesia upon 1965-1966. Understanding based on consciousness thinking, forgiveness, promise and friendship will break the cycle of revenge, restore social memory, and ensure the creation of rights of every citizen.

Abstract

The development of technology in the contemporary era raises various problems of humanitarian crises. The humanitarian crisis was caused by rapid development of capitalist ideology, technology and science. Mass purchases in a short period of time in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic made subjects consume unnecessary items. The subject has a split in understanding reality. Lacan's psychoanalysis is important in understanding the lifestyle of the consumerist society amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The Lacan trilogy is able to analyze of humans as subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine the background of panic buying behavior in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. This research method is a literature study, aimed at analyzing panic buying behavior as a form of consumerism, with the theoretical framework of Jaques Lacan's psychoanalysis. The result of this research is that the currently present subject is a subject in interaction with pure reality which is translated into a symbolic code. A subject who seeks happiness with the desire to be someone else and to calm his panic in an unstable state. The subject considers consumption to be the answer to anxiety symptoms in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of globalization, advances in science and technology that have an impact on human life. Ease of transportation, communication and access to education are positive impacts. Meanwhile, the degradation of moral values, namely individualistic, selfish, and competitive attitudes is a negative influence on the development and advancement of science. Moral education and among system education is an ideal educational alternative in facing the development of technology in Indonesia. Moral education according to al-Ghazali, teaches a child to understand the Qur'an and Hadith from an early age. By learning religion from an early age, children are able to strengthen beliefs. The basic character of children who are mature and supported by strong religious beliefs are able to avoid the bad effects of globalization. Meanwhile, among system education according to Ki Hadjar Dewantara is education that fosters mutual respect for fellow human beings. Appreciating and respecting fellow human beings will foster a sense of humanity and humanize humans, thus avoiding individualism, egoism, and competition between individuals.

Abstract

The existence of women becomes a complicated issue when women play a dual role, as a domestic worker as well as a public sector worker. Problems will arise when she as a woman is faced with the choice of taking a career opportunity, exploring her potential, and honing her intellectual abilities or staying at home, caring for children, cooking, and sharing tasks with her partner. In the public domain, men and women have the same opportunities to advance their careers which are supported by a person's intellectual and professional level. This is what causes women to want career opportunities in the public sphere, rather than closing themselves off to routine daily problems in the domestic sphere. The dilemma of women in the modern era marks the maturity of thinking in achieving dreams as an intelligent woman who has a successful career in the public sphere while being able to overcome household routines in the domestic sphere. Based on the analysis of feminist theology, it is hoped that it will be able to open public awareness of gender equality in a patriarchal culture

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tradisi Begawi Cakak Pepadun Lampung dengan makna filosofis yang ada di dalam tradisi tersebut. Muara dari kajian ini adalah untuk melestarikan kekayaan budaya bangsa Indonesia, yang eksistensinya mulai terancam di tengah perkembangan arus globalisasi saat ini. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif tentang pandangan filosofis di lapangan. Objek material dari penelitian ini adalah tradisi Begawi Cakak Pepadun Lampung. Objek formal atau sudut pandang dari penelitian ini adalah filsafat, khususnya filsafat kebudayaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara etimologis Begawi berarti pekerjaan atau membuat gawi (kerja), sedangkan cakak pepadun berarti naik pepadun yaitu peristiwa pelantikan Penyimbang sebagai keturunan dari raja Lampung. Prosesi ini terdiri atas cangget, ngediyou, nigel, potong kerbau, sesemburan, pineng di paccah aji, dan cakak pepadun. Setiap tahapan dan kelengkapan ucapara tersebut mengandung nilai-nilai filosofis, yang meliputi nilai spiritual, nilai moral, nilai sentimental, nilai material, nilai sosial, nilai ekonomi, nilai estetika, dan nilai hiburan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the forms of learning of aqidah and akhlak at MTs Yasrib Batu-Batu, Soppeng Regency. This study also analyzes the forms of learning of aqidah and akhlak at MTs Yasrib Batu-Batu, Soppeng Regency from the perspective of Moral Philosophy. This type of research is qualitative field research using the Theological, Phenomenological, and Philosophical Approaches. The stage of collecting research data begins with conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Data processing and data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and deductive conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the forms used in learning aqidah and akhlak at MTs Yasrib Batu-Batu are lectures, questions and answers, reading, listening and writing. With the combination of these forms of learning, it can improve understanding and application of moral values ​​and can help students apply teachings and deepen meaning and encourage critical thinking. In line with Al-Ghazali's thoughts regarding the form of learning that focuses on holistic education, providing roles, examples, role models and practical experiences. Al-Ghazali also encouraged learning methods that involve practical experience and reflection so that students can apply moral values ​​in everyday life. This study has implications for the development of evaluation forms that not only measure cognitive knowledge, but also students' attitudes and behaviors in applying moral values.

Abstract

This research examines the philosophical thoughts of John Rawls and Martha Nussbaum on social justice through library research methods with a qualitative hermeneutic approach. The primary focus is to explore the concept of justice from both thinkers' perspectives, analyze convergence and divergence points, and synthesize a comprehensive conceptual framework. The study compares four key domains: equality conception, resource distribution mechanisms, the state's role, and the ethical dimensions of social life. Research findings demonstrate that social justice is a dynamic practice that transcends material distribution, emphasizing individual empowerment and human dignity recognition. Rawls offers a procedural approach through the original position, while Nussbaum focuses on core capabilities development. The synthesis of their thoughts produces a theoretical framework that promotes public policy transformation towards a more inclusive and just society.

Abstract

Destiny is not only understood as an absolute provision but has a dimension that involves wise planning and determination according to the will and knowledge of Allah SWT. First, with this understanding it provides a foundation for understanding how the concept of destiny in human life, both in theological and practical aspects. Second, the masons in Jenetallasa village understand destiny as a combination of human effort and God's will. They believe that although destiny is a definite provision, humans are still required to try. Destiny in the view of masons, teaches surrender, acceptance, and patience in facing life's challenges. Third, the application of destiny by masons in Jenetallasa village has various ways, namely including effort, prayer, and acceptance of destiny, with variations in the level of surrender and effort made by each individual according to their views on destiny. The implications of the research suggest that understanding destiny has a broad impact on the lives of individuals and society. Therefore, spiritual development that can deepen this understanding can be used as a strategic step to create a more productive, harmonious, and religious society. This type of research is qualitative with a field research approach, namely research conducted by going directly to the location to collect the required data. The author applies the observation method by observing directly and using interview techniques. Interviews are conducted through conversations between two parties, between the author and the informant.

Abstract

The logical way of thinking in finding truth has existed since the pre-Socratic era. However, the science that studies logical thinking was written by Aristotle. Aristotle introduced the syllogism consists of premises and a conclusion. A conclusion consists of premises and these premises contain certain conditions. If one of the premises does not contain certain conditions, then a conclusion cannot be drawn.By learning logic, someone will think clearly so that they are not easily provoked by emotions due to the logical fallacy.It is in this thinking activity that it gives the impression to the public how insightful a person's thinking is, whether the person is trying to mislead the listener or simply does not know the rules of logical thinking. The implication of this research is someone will be able to think logically, that they can differentiate and criticize events that occur in life by seeing whether the event makes sense or is in accordance with the rules or not. So that logical thinking becomes a process of thinking wisely that it is not easy to conclusions without considering it carefully.
