Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan metakognisi menulis mahasiswa semester baru STKIP YPM Bangko. Disain survey kuantitatif digunakan dengan melibatkan 71 sampel mahasiswa semester II STKIP YPM Bangko, yang berasal dari enam program studi. Data kemampuan metakognisi mahasiswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen angket skala Likert dengan empat skala. Dengan menggunakan analisis  statistik deskriptif sederhana ditemukan bahwa kemampuan metakognisi menulis mahasiswa termasuk kategori Baik. Kemampuan metakognisi tertinggi ternyata pada aspek aspek evaluasi sesudah menulis, dan aspek terendah yaitu aspek pengetahuan tugas menulis.

Abstract

Penulisan skripsi merupakan tugas yang paling menantang bagi mahasiswa program sarjana. Hampir semua mahasiswa mengalami hambatan berkaitan dengan teknis penulisan dan isi. Karena itu peran pembimbing dalam memberikan  dukungan atau scaffolding amatlah menentukan sehingga perlu dikenali teknik-teknik scaffolding yang sering digunakan dosen dalam pembimbingan skripsi mahasiswa. Setiap dosen mempunyai gaya tersendiri dalam memediasi mahasiswa menuju penyelesaian skripsinya, namun terlihat ada kesamaan teknik scaffolding yang digunakan pembimbing di STKIP YPM Bangko. Berdasarkan angket yang diberikan kepada 10 orang dosen yang telah berpengalaman sebagai pembimbing sekitar 5 – 30 tahun  dan wawancara informal dengan dosen yang berpengalaman lebih 20 tahun ditemukan tiga jenis teknik scaffolding yang digunakan dalam pembimbingan skripsi mahasiswa. Datanya dilengkapi dengan angket yang diberikan kepada 100 orang lulusan STKIP YPM Bangko yang menyelesaikan skripsi pada tahun 2016.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to discuss the scaffolding techniques used in the Jenius Writing (JW) program to support students’ creative writing. The Jenius Writing 58 (JW 58) class was studied using a qualitative case study method. The data were gathered through documentation from posts on the JW 58 WhatsApp Group and Gen JW International’s Facebook page. Data analysis was performed using Miles and Huberman’s data analysis technique, which included data reduction, data visualization, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal four distinct types of creative writing scaffolding techniques: (1) writing inconsequentially, directly, or as things; (2) utilizing a hypnotic pattern or employing wording and phrases that can influence the development of writing; (3) employing a paragraph pattern to build writing, specifically writing based on the structure of words or phrases that focus on a single concept; and (4) using questions to develop a piece of writing.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the metacognitive awareness of Indonesian Language and Literature Educational students in STKIP YPM Bangko, and to differentiate student metacognition by gender and length of study, and to correlate metacognition awareness on student achievement indexes. A quantitative research design was used with population of 80 students in academic year of 2017-2018. A purposive sampling technique was taken by involving students of the third, fifth, and seventh semester. Documentations and questionnaires were used as the instuments of this study and manual calculations and SPSS 16.0 for Windows were used to analyze the collected data in the study. The results showed that there was no significant difference between metacognitive awareness of male and female students, and between metacognitive awareness of the second year, the third year, and the fourth year. The latest, there was a very weak positive relationship between metacognitive awareness and students’ achievement.

Abstract

Tradisi lisan Jambi diambang kritis. Istilah ini tepat digunakan untuk menggambarkan kondisi tradisi lisan di Provinsi Jambi yang mulai dilupakan. Tradisi lisan hanya ditampilkan ketika saat acara resmi, minimnya inventarisasi dan dokumentasi tradisi lisan, serta dalam pembelajaran sastra (terutama sastra lisan) di sekolah, guru hanya menyadur silabus dan materi dari internet. Misalnya, menyesuaikan dengan kearifan lokal yang dimiliki oleh daerah satu di antaranya tradisi lisan. Hal ini menyebabkan sebagian masyarakat terutama generasi muda tidak mengetahui dan memahami tradisi lisan daerahnya sendiri, terutama makna ungkapan dalam tradisi lisan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengungkap penggunaan simbol kiasan dalam tradisi lisan tradisional Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Data penelitian ini adalah tradisi lisan tradisional Jambi. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa penggunaan lambang kiasan dalam tradisi lisan Jambi dalam bentuk kalimat. Pertama, penggunaan lambang kiasan hewan didasarkan pada kedekatan dengan manusia. hewan sebagai sumber pangan, ekonomi, penolong dalam aktivitas, dan ancaman dianalogikan dengan kehidupan manusia. Kedua, penggunaan lambang kiasan tumbuh-tumbuhan didasarkan pada kebutuhan masyarakat akan pangan, sumber pendapatan, dan sebagai pakan ternak serta kondisi wilayah agraris Jambi. Ketiga, penggunaan simbol kiasan manusia meliputi fisik, pengalaman batin, aktivitas, dan benda-benda di sekitar kehidupan. Pendayagunaan manusia: tubuh, jiwa, aktivitas hidup dan kehidupan.

Abstract

This activity highlights the integration of artificial intelligence in drama appreciation learning at PBSI Merangin University, with a focus on theatrical performances of poems by Wiko Antoni. Through an AI-based interactive approach, students are invited to explore the aesthetic meaning and cultural values in poetry, as well as develop creative expression through digital media. The results of the activity show that technology-based theatrical presentation is able to strengthen literary appreciation and enrich the learning experience.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to comprehensively describe the policy formulation process within the Indonesian education system. The national education system emphasizes that all forms of educational activities must be optimally organized and developed to achieve national education goals. In its implementation, sound decisions are required to ensure that the resulting policies are truly effective and aligned with the needs of the educational community. One crucial stage in the policy process is agenda setting, which serves to draw the government's attention to the various issues, challenges, and competition emerging in the world of education. This process requires a clear theoretical framework to ensure policy formulation has direction, a scientific basis, and measurable objectives. Thus, policy formulation in educational institutions can have strong legitimacy and be accountable. Furthermore, the success of education policy formulation is also greatly influenced by the roles of the actors involved and the approaches used at each stage of the policy process. Abstract

This study aims to synthesize findings from the literature on principals’ strategies for addressing teachers’ resistance to digital learning innovations. Using a library research method with a narrative literature review approach, the study extracted evidence from 20 articles comprising qualitative case studies, multiple case studies, literature reviews, and systematic literature reviews. The data were analyzed through thematic coding to map key resistance factors and the leadership strategies most frequently recommended. The synthesis indicates that teachers’ resistance to digital innovation is an ecosystem-level phenomenon closely related to schools’ limited capacity. Dominant barriers include limited budgets and technological infrastructure, gaps in teachers’ and stakeholders’ digital literacy, organizational cultural resistance and conventional mindsets, uneven readiness for implementation accompanied by weak digital mentoring/supervision, and psychological factors such as fear, lack of understanding, and change fatigue. Effective principal strategies are multi-component, encompassing continuous professional development (e.g., training, coaching, mentoring, and learning communities), provision of infrastructure and technical support, visionary or transformational leadership with participatory and empathetic change communication, strengthened stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven monitoring and evaluation (e.g., using LMS data) to support continuous improvement. These findings underscore the need for adaptive, collaborative, and support-oriented digital change leadership to reduce teachers’ resistance and sustain digital learning innovation.
