Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisa bagaimana perbandingan pemberitaan tentang perdagangan manusia pada surat kabar versi online pada Harian Tribun timur dengan Harian Fajar. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan media online yang tirasnya besar di Sulawesi Selatan selama tiga bulan dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi deskriptif kuantitatif dan wacana sebagai prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif dari hasil analisis dari studi dan analisis kepustakaan. Teknik Seleksi menggunakan informasi pada teknik pengambilan sampel pada periode Januari-Maret 2013 dan ditentukan berdasarkan kriteria tertentu yang didasarkan pada tujuan penelitian.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Informasi yang diberikan Harian Tribun Timur dalam hal isu perdagangan manusia jauh lebih besar daripada yang diberikan oleh Harian Fajar. Dalam artian, Harian Tribun Timur versi online memberikan porsi yang besar.  2) Dalam hal perhatian media, Harian Tribun Timur versi online memberikan perhatian lebih besar daripada Harian Fajar versi online. Kata Kunci:  Perdagangan Manusia, berita, surat kabar versi online, analisis isi, analisis wacana, teori pers, dan teori agenda setting.

Abstract

This study raises the issue of how older adults understand and utilize mass media in the era of new media. The research method began with observation and then interviews in the form of focus group discussions with ten elderly people from Madeceng School under the guidance of BKKBN South Sulawesi. The results of this study found a shift in the use of mass media. It turns out that the elderly no longer access newspapers and radio like in the past. Only television is still often accessed to enjoy entertainment content. At the same time, general information is mostly obtained from mass media such as news portals. The elderly use social media to find basic information. This shift confirms the new habits of the elderly, who used to spend time reading newspapers and listening to the radio at home. Abstract

Ketika komunikasi politik menghendaki sebuah autentisitas pesan, ada pesan yang nyatanya jauh dari autentik. Mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi politik ini jauh dari autentik dapat membantu mengidentifikasi pilihan elit politik saat ini yang lebih banyak mengarah pada disorientasi pesan politik atau secara peyoratif dibilang pasca kebenaran. Akan tetapi, studi tentang refleksi kritis tentang komunikasi politik pasca kebenaran dalam pandangan tokoh publik masih sedikit dibahas. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk menerangkan komunikasi politik para elit politik melalui refleksi pemikiran Ahmad Syafii Maarif. Data diperoleh dari telaah dokumen pemberitaan dari republika.co.id dengan judul “Politik Pasca Kebenaran” karya Ahmad Syafii Maarif. Hasil studi ini menandakan bahwa komunikasi politik para elit politik menjauh dari autentisitas komunikasi politik. Komunikasi politik mereka terkesan mengangkangi perintah moral politik. Ini membuat komunikasi politik terkesan ritual politik semata dengan pola-pola superfisial yang memposisikan publik sebatas objek politik yang tidak setara. Dengan kata lain, komunikasi politik yang hanya mencari pencitraan akan jatuh pada kehampaan moral politik. Implikasi penelitian ini mengisyaratkan bahwa jika pasca kebenaran adalah pilihan dalam komunikasi politik, maka tuna martabat adalah nilai yang pantas.

Abstract

This mentoring program aimed to enhance the capacity of scientific journal managers at Universitas Al Asyariyah Mandar, STIBA Makassar, STAI Al Azhar Gowa, and Universitas Islam Ahmad Dahlan (UIAD) Sinjai, particularly in understanding and implementing the National Journal Accreditation guidelines (ARJUNA). The mentoring was conducted through a phased approach that included mapping the initial conditions of the journals, reviewing editorial governance, analyzing article content, as well as engaging in discussions and hands-on practice in journal management using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The identification results indicate that the assisted journals generally face similar challenges, including weak documentation of editorial policies and publication ethics, suboptimal peer-review mechanisms, limited diversity among editorial boards and reviewers, low article readability quality, and inconsistent publication schedules. The mentoring subsequently focused on strengthening ARJUNA literacy by outlining journal quality improvement strategies based on best practices derived from journals accredited at SINTA 2. These strategies encompassed the structuring of transparent and standards-compliant journal policies, strengthening the roles of editors and reviewers, implementing systematic and well-documented editorial workflows, improving article quality through more rigorous manuscript selection, and enhancing metadata quality and journal presentation. The implications of this activity demonstrate that the mentoring process not only contributes to improvements in the technical and administrative aspects of journal management but also fosters a paradigm shift toward more strategic, sustainable, and academically quality-oriented journal governance. Accordingly, mentoring serves as an important institutional learning process in preparing these journals to advance their accreditation status toward SINTA 2.
