Abstract

ABSTRACT ABD. HAKIM, NIM 2220010006 Thesis "Differences between Project Based Learning and Self Directed Learning Models on PAI and BP Learning Outcomes for Class X Students of Mechanical Engineering Department of SMK Negeri 5 Padang". Postgraduate Islamic Religious Education Study Program at UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes achieved by students. It can be seen that the learning process is less than optimal, so that an active, creative and meaningful learning process has not yet been realized, where during the learning process the teacher is still using learning that is not yet relevant. This research discusses the differences between the Project Based Learning learning model and the Self Directed Learning learning model on PAI and BP learning outcomes for class X students of the Mechanical Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. This research uses a quantitative experimental design method, randomized control group posttest only design by applying the Project Based Learning learning model in the experimental class in class X.1, totaling 36 people and the control class in class X.2, totaling 36 people. The instrument used by researchers was a test of learning outcomes on the material The Role of Ulama Figures in the Spread of Islam in Indonesia (Method of Islamic Da'wah by Wali Songo in Java). Research data on student learning outcomes was collected through a learning outcomes test with 20 objective questions, then analyzed using SPSS version 20. The findings from this research were that there were differences in PAI and BP learning outcomes on the material on the Role of Ulama Figures in the Spread of Islam in Indonesia (Da'wah Method Islam Wali Songo in Tanah Java) Class This is proven based on the results of the analysis, it is found that t count > t table, namely 3.957 > 2.028, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of fermentation time on the electrical voltage, acidity (pH), and solution volume of apple, mango, and starfruit extracts as natural electrolytes in electrochemical cells. The fruit extracts were fermented using baker's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) for five days at room temperature, with measurements of electrical voltage, pH, and volume on days 1, 3, and 5. The results showed an increase in electrical voltage over fermentation time, with the highest value in starfruit (0.9 Volt, pH 2, final volume 140 mL). The decrease in pH and solution volume during fermentation indicated an increase in acidity and ion concentration which strengthened the conductivity of the solution as an electrolyte. This study proves the potential of local fruit extracts as a source of environmentally friendly electrolytes for alternative energy based on bioelectrochemistry.

Abstract

This study examines the existence of women legislators in the Palu City Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD), which remains a crucial issue in local democracy practices despite the normative guarantee of gender equality. This study aims to examine the presence of female legislators in the Palu City DPRD, in terms of representation, political roles, and the structural and cultural challenges they face. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a sociological and phenomenological approach, through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies of DPRD members, institutional leaders, and relevant institutional documents. The results show that Palu City has the potential socially, demographically, and in human resources for women’s involvement in politics, but this potential has not been optimally realized. Women’s representation in the Palu City DPRD remains low, access to strategic commissions is limited, and there are no women in the leadership structure, so women’s participation tends to be symbolic. The findings reveal that patriarchal culture, weak political party support, and limited strategic positions hinder the substantive role of women legislators. Therefore, strengthening affirmative policies, transforming political culture, and enhancing institutional capacity are essential to enable women legislators to promote fair and gender-responsive public policies more effectively.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of an integrated curriculum in Islamic Education at Al Ma'arif Elementary School in Merauke Regency. The problem addressed is how Islamic values are integrated into the curriculum, as well as the challenges and supporting factors in its implementation. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the integrated curriculum at the school and analyze the factors that support and hinder its implementation. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving interviews, observations, and documentation studies to collect data from the principal, vice principal of curriculum, teachers, and students. The results show that curriculum integration is carried out by linking subject matter with Islamic values, such as connecting science with the greatness of Allah SWT. The learning approach used involves discussion and practice, and teachers are expected to be role models in implementing Islamic values. However, there are several inhibiting factors, such as limited time, facilities, variations in student abilities, and limited teacher understanding of the integrated curriculum. The main supporting factors are the commitment of the principal and parental involvement in supporting religious education. This study implies that although the implementation of an integrated curriculum can strengthen students' religious understanding, challenges related to resources and differences in student abilities need to be addressed to achieve more effective implementation.
